Non perché sia una DAW diversa, ma il modello di impostazione è molto differente rispetto ad altre. La facilità di automazioni ovviamente rende il prodotto intuitivo in quel punto, ma in altri è troppo carente per chi si sta avvicinando alla musica da poco o usa altre DAW. Credo comunque, che sia la miglior scelta i sound designer, o per chi vuole sperimentare musica con un tocco in più. Pros Usando Ableton Live solamente in determinate occasioni, ho notato come le automazioni sono molto più facili ed intuitive rispetto ad ogni altra DAW. Inoltre, anche i plugin integrati sono ottimi per poter lavorare ad un livello professionale.Il prezzo non è basso, ma chi già mastica musica, potrebbe farci un pensierino. Adatto soprattutto per chi vuole sperimentare. Cons In Ableton Live, eccetto le automazioni, non trovo molta intuitività. L'utente che lo usa, se neofita, rischia di imbattersi in problematiche che in altre DAW non esistono, anche il solo aprire un piano roll. I will never stop pushing it and recommending it to my friends who just started producing. Pros I think Live is the only DAW that truly allows you to be creative with a really use to use interface and plugins that inspire. But it also allows you to dive deep into the program if you want to with advanced midi routing and modulation. Cons I don't want to sound too optimistic but there's very few things wrong with this program. Ableton has done an amazing job perfecting this software over the years and with extra additions like the Live Enhancement Suite the possibilities become limitless. I have t-shirts, stickers, a hat... All things ableton. Pros I've been using Ableton since version 4. I have other DAW's on my machine for integration with collaborators. My go to for music production is 100% Ableton. VERY good with MIDI and audio the same. I just recently switched my dad from HIS favorite DAW. He is 69 years old and caught onto Ableton very quickly. Cons I would say my LEAST favorite thing about Ableton is that I'm not sponsored by them yet. hahaha!! March 6, 2021 5.0 My experience with Live is I used it as an effect module of sorts. I would alter the speed / pitch of sample inside of Ableton then export those files to my hardware digital samplers for further sound manipulation and composition. Pros What drew me to Ableton Live is it's ability to change the pitch of a .wav file without affecting the tempo, and without adding distortion to the file. Ableton also has swing templates that allow you to duplicate the swing settings of vintage drum machines, like the E-mu SP1200. This is a game changer because it allows producers to program drum tracks with a more natural, human-like feel. Cons Ableton is one of the higher priced music creation programs on the market, and with good reason. The program contains numerous pro level audio processing tools that has made it the choice of music producers worldwide. Though they offer a "Lite" version of their software, it's limited to 16 tracks, which may not be enough for producers and engineers completing large projects. Review Source Frederic D. Music Producer Music Used the software for: 2+ years ### "For me the best daw" June 4, 2020 5.0 It is just great! been using it for more then a decade now... and do have alot of "Ableton" made releases already on Beatport, Spotify, and all other streaming and download platforms. Pros I like how the interface works so inspiring! Ableton just offers such a great workflow! I still use it in a linear way, and do not realy make use of the clips. With the "suite" version you get all the instruments & loads of samples. The vst support also works flawless. Cons in case of mixing software such as "cubase" is bit more tight. But I do not realy have alot of issues with it. Its a steep learning curve but well worth the time and effort. Pros The flexibility and adaptability for live workflows is outstanding, the warp and transpose features, plus the auto trigger functions are something I can't do without! No hay ninguna limitación en este software. January 22, 2021 5.0 In fact, it is an indispensable tool for music, organic or electronic producers. For me it helps me a lot in "inbox" production I use samples and vst's. Because it's simple to use, I create my music faster! Pros Simple and organized interface, it is a very intuitive DAW, both in the session view and in the arrangement session. It has fantastic native instruments, synthesizers, wavetable instruments, compressors and equalizers! Perfect!!! Cons So far I haven't had a lot of problems, the only thing I identified as a failure is that in the clip view, when I use the "beats" mode, there is no way to automate the transient envelope (0 to 100). Una volta capito come funziona (cosa non semplice) offre molte soddisfazioni soprattutto in fase di duttilità del mixaggio. In particolare, mi ha molto soddisfatto il fatto che disponde di un accordatore precisissimo altamente professionale anche nella versione gratuita. Cons L'interfaccia è abbastanza complicata e poco intuitiva, sopratutto perchè si gestiscono le tracce in verticale anzichè in orizziontale. Cons Maybe the cost and the way that it may seem at the beggining with is pretty arcaic for my taste but with the time you get used to it and realize that it is indeed the best program that is out there. Cons Their is a slight learning curve with Ableton due to how creative and custom you can be with inputs and outputs, but once the workflow is nailed down it becomes second natures. It can also sometimes be overwhelming with just how much you can do with Ableton. Reason for choosing Live Live's layout and features are a lot more clean than other DAW's arrangement and session views. The pitch and tempo shifting capabilities, the customization of sounds with Mac for Live effects, and the simple bus routing make it a joy to use. Pros The overall customizability of Ableton is amazing. Especially, when used in combination with Max for Live plugins. It’s almost like working with a modular setup. Cons Comping multiple takes is a clunky process in Ableton, compared to something like Logic (my old go-to DAW). February 9, 2023 5.0 Pros Ableton Live is unique, I really like its user interface and its very original composition system, totally adapted with its tools, for live situations in concert, radio, showcase. its ergonomics satisfies me enormously. Cons The negative point that I noted is the mixer! its design, although innovative and original, can be improved because it does not facilitate mixing. the faders are very small and imprecise. if this is corrected in future versions it will satisfy me very much.
