### "The best personal task management app I've found"

March 15, 2025

5.0

Pros

I really liked your app. I've been looking for something with similar functionality for a long time. I paid for a year's subscription right away.

Cons

So far I like everything. Of course you can find fault with something, but overall the development team has a very good understanding of the necessary functionality, especially for Google Calendar users.

### "The very best task management option with Google inegration "

June 2, 2024

5.0

GQueues is exactly the kind of service tool we love to support - because we hardly notice we're using it most of the time. It just works, and it's become an invaluable part of our daily regimen.

Pros

We love the dead simple, super intuitive web interface and how that seamlessly carries over to Google Calendar. Being able to move tasks just by dragging and dropping, edit tasks inside a GCal event or even via email... ::chefskiss::

Cons

We would love it if there were an easier way to create durable, easy to use task templates inside the web interface. We've found a workaround, but it's a bit finnicky and easy to mess up if we're not careful.

Reason for choosing GQueues

GQueues had exactly the mix of features we needed, and even more importantly, nothing that got in the way. So many options today are too dense with unwanted options, or are constantly trying to upsell you to a version you don't need or want. GQueues has an upgraded version, but we've never felt pressured to buy it, and we've never bought it because we don't need it.

### "Excellent Task Management & Team Project Management"

April 22, 2024

5.0

I've loved using it in multiple roles. Highly recommend!

Pros

Great price point. It's incredibly easy to use and easily integrates with the Google suite so I can easily add items, track projects, share visibility, and tier things.

Cons

No significant downfalls - the Calendar integration alone is a major lifesaver.

### "Invaluable tool, priced to be accessible"

September 12, 2023

5.0

Exceptional. This is the best project management tool I've used. I love it's integration with Google Calendar, especially. The drag and drop approach to task management is amazing. And I love being able to color code each staff and see all the tasks for everyone in one place, laid out into time blocks while also having Smart Queues to manage them.

Pros

I could not have grown my business and reduced my stress, increasing mindfulness and focus, without this tool.

Cons

There was some frustration with the Teams feature, as it lost some of the functionality we had when we took Gqueues out of the regular system, which seemed odd.

Reason for choosing GQueues

We looked at many CRM options, and this one had the best integration with Google Calendar, drag-and-drop capability, and was the easiest for me to see all my staff's schedules, color coded, simultaneously on a calendar to see if we could all get our tasks done timely as well as whether we were fully scheduled, along with having the ability to assure all tasks were scheduled by client, auto-recurring, and assess their status.

### "GQueues keeps me accountable and reliable to my client deadlines"

January 31, 2023

5.0

Thoroughly happy with the functionality for the price. It's a great value.

Pros

Since I'm a long-time Google Calendar user, GQueues is a natural progression and a tremendous upgrade to my workflow and processes.

Cons

I would really love a timeline view where I can see upcoming tasks in the visual representation of a timeline. While I can see items in my calendar, I'm a VERY heavy calendar user, so it can appear a little bit "busy." A timeline view would help me focus on what is coming up next over hours, days, or weeks, as desired.

### "The end of my journey to run 3 companies at once - Gqueues"

May 2, 2022

5.0

My challenge is catching all the little tasks that fire at me continuously. order this. call someone. update something. lots of small tasks. Keeping them in order (using tags for priority and where/context) and ensuring everything goes through efficiently trusting the system. I've found that the way I use gqueues has changed over the years. For instance I used just queues or tags. I swore that smart queues were stupid and useless. Once I had a need for smart queues, I now can't operate without them. My problems occur when I go off system for some distraction problem, and my problems go away when I put them into my system in Gqueues.

Pros

I find the need to organise myself. GTD methodology modified for a high amount of small jobs and long multistep projects with tiny steps. While trying so many types from paper to excel to so many apps, I found Gqueues. At first you will be struck by the lack of a methodology. It's there, watch the videos. I have evolved into several different ways to use its power. I can create a smart queue where all my @work items are grouped by their tags (priority) and sorted by their date (I use this as a action or review date, not a do by date) and filter out any future dates, leading to a zero list occasionally. I can also have a project as a plain queue, with subtasks that I work out the process and work through each stage. I heavily use keyboard shortcuts to create tasks N, subtasks S, change date D, edit E, notes N, arrows to reorder... and so on. I even asked for something that I thought would be an improvement... I knew it was easily achievable as I understand the tech. I made a suggestion that would help me and others. It was done in a few hours. The support pages and the roadmap are available for you to interact with other users and see what they're working on.

Cons

I'm still waiting for the multi select ability that is in the roadmap. It will help. I've seen so many things improve it will get there I'm sure.

### "Why GQueues is the best time management tool"

August 23, 2023

5.0

I really enjoy the seamless integration with my day to day activities and calendar and data I also enjoy the fact that GQueues is not hung up on the actual start and stop times for every task. A nice feature would be if in Google calanders Shedule option could give a the actual hours and minutes spent per task

Pros

GQuesues keeps track of all the actions required to run a business, by date by event by person and visually on the calander

Cons

GQueues costs money. Hopefully GQueues will eventually also have a voice recognition option

Reason for choosing GQueues

More features and very good at keeping tasks with documents and on the calander view as well as a great full mobile access

### "Kept/Keeps me on track."

September 28, 2023

5.0

One thing I found especially when I was having a slow moving morning at work and just couldn't get my brain in gear, I would look at GQ's and just start at the first item on the list and get through that then on to the next. If I didn't have that tool, I would just keep going in circles and not accomplishing much at all. It gave me a sense of some control over the myriad of tasks that needed to be completed.

Pros

I liked the fact that I could quickly check what was necessary for the day, week, month or even year. With the school year most tasks occur only once a year (homecoming) or quarterly (report cards) but the preparation for these projects could be weeks in advance. Some items needed to be addressed daily (attendance, correspondence). The same is true now that I'm retired. Many daily tasks for housework, gardening, property management. With the integration with Google Calendar I can schedule appointments and see what tasks need to be completed at the same time, so my schedule can be rearranged to accommodate all.

Cons

My tasks and subtasks are all recurring - daily, weekly, montly or yearly. When marked completed - the subtasks don't always follow along to the next occurrence. I use my tablet and phone with the mobile app every day as well as the computer. I wish the subtasks would indent on the mobile app like they do on the computer. It would help my brain alot.

### "The Tool I Needed"

May 31, 2023

5.0

I needed a collaborative tool that integrates with GSuite. This tool is great that I can customize my view for me, and my colleagues can make their own interface structured for them. Quick to use, up and running. I love the help documentation and tutorials, the User Interface and overall actually use this tool daily.

Pros

Transitioning from Google Tasks was a breeze with the benefits of collaborating with the rest of my team members now. We tried more complex tools like Monday and Asana and found that our requirements didn't lend themselves to full blown project management. We just need a whose on first tool. Gqueues fit the bill and the price was very reasonable.

Cons

Right now I am not a fan of the nav bar/app integration into Google Mail and Calendar. To have to search for my tasks vs making them visible like google tasks takes some getting used too. I tend to not use them unless I am creating a task directly from mail or calendar.

### "GQueues Brought our Farm into the 21st Century"

March 8, 2023

5.0

We're using GQueues on our small sod farm. We chose it as a solution to move our daily customer order schedule from a paper clipboard to online so that multiple people could access it, review and make changes if necessary. Once we had that part implemented, it quickly became apparent how it would improve our work flow in other areas of our farm. No more forgotten tasks that need to be done quarterly, no more having to track employees down to see if something had been done, or when. Everything is at our fingertips with GQueues.

Pros

We absolutely love the ease of task management with GQs. We're able to quickly enter projects, assign tasks and maintain our schedule for a business that is constantly changing. Everyone can include notes and updates to keep everyone on the same page. Every day we're learning a new way we can implement this product to improve our work flow.

Cons

I would love to see an automation feature that would allow us to mark a task complete, and move it to another folder automatically. But right now, our process is still working beautifully as is manually moving tasks around.

### "The sweet spot"

December 4, 2023

5.0

Pros

Every 5 years or so I seem to grow out of my task management tool, or leave in frustration. Over the years I've tried 'em all (well, there are hundreds but I've tried at least 10 other name-brand task management apps) and for me, GQueues hits the sweet spot between too brain-dead and too overly complicated. The interface is so clean, it's a joy to look at. GQueues is intuitive, offers just enough schema for me to manage everything, but not project management complexities that might suit others but are surplus to my requirements. Overall, double thumbs up.

Cons

Probably the only feature I would request is that tasks could recur with their subtasks, but there are adequate workarounds that GQueues' support service rapidly, cheerfully and comprehensively documented. Can't be mad.

### "GQueues is a great option, but limited."

January 8, 2020

5.0

GQueues is a task/productivity software and like most people with ADD, I'm constantly looking for a tool that will help me organize and stay on task. You can use tags and subtasks to organize and sort, along with due dates, notes, etc. There's also collaboration options to set up teams, but I didn't use that part because I'm a team of one. The format is a list with indented subtasks and you can filter tasks as well as the info displayed pretty easily, but the view is always the same, so if you want a grid, kanban, tile or other sort of view, this is not the one. It integrates well with gmail and google calendar, but you have to pay for the calendar option. It's $25 a year, which isn't too bad. I paid for it for 2 years, but found I used it less and less over time because - like some other task software I have used - it's pretty limited in what it can do.

Pros

I liked how easy it is to use. It's very straightforward and the light version is free. If you just need a list keeper for tasks, this is a great option with lots of sorting and filing. Adding multiple tasks was also easy with their quick add option. I primarily used this to keep track of production items I needed to do for my business.

Cons

I flip flop back and forth between software that does one thing well and software that does multiple things but maybe lacks some flexibility on certain tasks. Ultimately, I started using other tools more and more because they could do more things, but that doesn't mean that GQueues isn't excellent at what it does. It's also cheaper than my current option, but the limitations ended up making it redundant for me and if I don't consistently use it, I have to lose it.

Reason for choosing GQueues

I've tried dozens (and continue to) of various productivity options. At the time, I liked the interface and simplicity of GQueues. I still do. It's great for tasks with several steps and tiers that you can easily organize and have it laid out for you. It's definitely worth a look and the Lite version has most features and works well.

March 8, 2023

5.0

I have been using GQueues for nearly as long as it has existed and the platform solved all my needs for client/job tracking, keeping historical completed tasks and simple life lists. I have lists for everything. I currently have 35 queues and counting.

Pros

I love the simplicity and simultaneous powerfulness of the GQueues platform. From grocery lists to vehicle maintenance to full client projects it fills all my needs. I use it all day every day in every facet of my life.

Cons

### "I'ma big fan!"

January 30, 2023

5.0

I use it all the time for every project. Some queues are shared with team members and i can easily find their notes and comments as well as know when a task must be done. I like that it has sufficient features/integrations to make using it convenient without feature overkill like some other tools. I don't need it to do everything I just need it to have the right tools for the job.

Pros

I've been using GQueues for years and I can't get by without it. I manage multiple projects for a number of clients and have introduced all of them to GQueues. I collaborate with several people on group projects and we can all keep track of where we are in a process and communicate without having to search through long email conversations for info. I love the integration with Google calendar and docs.

Cons

The only thing I can think of is that i would like for the text for the date assigned to tasks to be larger. I use the date to know what tasks MUST be done today. The text is pretty small.

### "Great Project manaer"

February 27, 2024

5.0

Over all, it has been one of the most flexible and helpful task/project managers I have used. I have tried others but always came back. I found that coupling GQueues with a mind mapping software helped to keep the big picture of a project in view.

Pros

Having the ability to use unlimited subtasks Allows for simple tasks to detailed & complicated projects.

Cons

At times a full task list made it difficult to see the big picture. When smart lists are used to address that, sub tasks are not listed with the parent task but as if they were stand alones.

### "Perfect for managing my personal task list"

February 26, 2023

5.0

As someone who juggles multiple projects, I needed a systematic way to track the many actions and activities that I'm working on. After trying spreadsheets, mind maps, and various apps, I came across GQueues some years back and found that it did everything I needed, per the list of things I like about the software, above. The tagging in particular allows me to use my own tweaked version of GTD to manage my task list. It's well worth the $25 or so per year to have my task list organized just as I like it.

Pros

\- The ability to create multiple queues for different projects- The ability to create a hierarchy of tasks- The ability to define and apply tags, and create Smart Queues based on these tags and other criteria- iOS app for creating tasks whenever I think of them

Cons

\- iOS widget sometimes takes a while to update after you've marked some tasks as complete. A minor inconvenience, at worst.
