Awesome software. Pros The software has a 4K editing resolution support with amazing presets in color grading and a split screen feature with video stabilizer. The software also has a awesome easy to use audio and video controls and a multiple video clip layer. Cons The export options of the software are very limited as there isn't an option for exporting to other file formats such as the HTLM. Some of the features can't handle a big project with some some being limited or not available at all like the shading effects and tends to be slower on 4K and HD projects. Review Source NR Neribel R. It is super easy, kind of drag and drop video editing service. The interface is really easy to use. Cons Sometimes, the templates aren't just enough to make videos in the way you envision so more templates are required. But the experience is one of the best. It did a great job with the recording and enjoyed all the filters and sound editing capabilities. It took me longer to use the program than to create the video. I used the free version, so I had a large watermark on the bottom of my project. Pros So many editing capabilities for this software! Could edit sound, speed, change the look of the video with loads of built-in filters. Integrated well into Edpuzzle. Cons The learning curve is quite steep. This would be okay if you were doing a lot of videos, but found that other products were just as good and easier to use for short clips. The drag and drop settings to just about everything in the software makes the process incredibly easy. Pros The interface in Filmora is familiar for people with digital video editing experience but simple enough for first-time users to quickly get an understanding of. The company that provides the software also provides a lot of great YouTube tutorial content to assist with your ongoing video editing education. Cons It's not so much a con for the existing software, but for the product range, I'd love to one day see an iOS version for iPad. That would make Filmora as an offering, to another level. Pros Easy, uncluttered, intuitive interface, ideal for non experienced users. Tons of available assets, for quick pro results (titles, transitions, effects, filters). Good presets for wide range of devices and media. One-time purchase license. Cons No critical feature is missing. Maybe "record from webcam" function could be improved with further settings. Pros I love how easy it is to use this program. While there isn't much in the way of a tutorial, it's comprehensive enough that I didn't need one. Cons The free version has a watermark, which is a reasonable cost. The problem is that the watermark takes up a good quarter of the screen space, which is entirely unreasonable. I wish that editing some of the elements could go further than they do. Even simple color changes are sometimes difficult or impossible. But that aside as I said it does the job. Pros Fairly simple, a good amount of options for editing, good features offered for stock effects and some music. Cons When the new version came out it was buggy, biggest issue was that is was not backward compatible with the other older versions. All my work was lost on the two videos that I had in the works when the update came down. I was also not able to get the former version any longer to finish my work. So I had to start over from scratch. Pros Filmora was very easy to use. I, with no prior experience, edited upward of 30 videos for an on-line education portal. I was very happy with the results. Anyone can make a high quality video with Filmora. If anyone wants to be creative with video editing then they can use different types of titles, transactions, elements, templates, effects, and more in Filmora. To me this a dynamic platform to complete videos. Cons This is a very useful software but all the simple features are free and the nicest one are pro features so you have to pay. Some are clumsy or have too many features difficult to learn and use, but this is pretty straightforward and I'm happy with it. Pros It is capable of all I need to do and straightforward -- I can cut, make transitions, titles, export easily, with flexibility to detach audio if necessary. Transitions and titles that are provided are very good for my purposes. Cons I can't enlarge the sample screen for editing but it's generally large enough. For my purposes, no real complaints. I don't care for the add-ons marketed each time I open the software but that happens only once. Kind of got forced after a year to purchase lifetime version -- not expensive and worth while to keep my systems consistent. A little nervous about their being based in China but they have been honest and content- and service-oriented. They have a lot of good sounds included as standard as well as visual effects. They also provide an effects store where you can buy more. The software is constantly being updated and so it gets even better. Cons It would have been good if they provided more video tutorials on how to get the best out of it and also to help develop your video editing ability. Cons There's a lot of extra things to buy. However, you get enough with the standard license to do a lot so that is not a real complaint.
