I enjoy receiving points for recognition and being able to exchange them for rewards. The platform is straightforward and makes employee appreciation more engaging. I would have a much better experience if the Mexico rewards catalog offered more variety. Pros I like that Nectar gives employees a simple way to recognize each other and makes that recognition feel more valuable through points and rewards. It is easy to use and adds an extra incentive to employee appreciation. Cons The biggest downside for me is the limited rewards catalog available in Mexico. I previously had access to the U.S. catalog, which had many more stores and gift card options. The current selection feels much smaller and less useful. It keeps everything in one easy to find place. On top of that it has be so useful as our business and number of employees has grown significantly over the last couple of years. Pros I think what I like most about Nectar is how well it fits my specific role within the company. Since a large part of my position involves building morale and encouraging staff involvement, Nectar gives me the ability to manage and promote so many of those things all in one place. For example, I can create challenges, give feedback, recognize and reward staff for volunteering, and easily track all of that information within the platform. It makes it much easier to keep everything organized while also encouraging staff engagement. Cons One minor issue I’ve noticed is on the administrative side, where certain information on employees’ profiles, such as birthdays, can be hidden from admins. There have been times when I’ve found out after the fact that someone’s birthday information was not visible to me. From an admin perspective, I think it would be helpful to have certain criteria or information that employees are required to make visible to admins for company-related purposes. This is a very minor detail, but it has been the only performance issue I’ve encountered with Nectar. I also loved how many ways there were to recognize someone or to earn points to redeem. Having been in HR for years previous to my current position, I've always wanted a way to easily recognize employees and have a way for them to participate in the recognition, and Nectar delivers that in spades. The value can't be beat. It is less expensive to use Nectar than it is to try other methods of recognition and it's a lot more fun. It saves managers hours of time and it puts employees in the driver seat when recognizing each other which is awesome! It's a wonderful platform and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and affordable way to add recognition to your company's culture. Pros I love that you can access Nectar from your browser or you can integrate it with teams and outlook. It makes it easier and saves hours of work recognizing the people you work with when it matters. I used my points to get an Ebay giftcard and last time I looked it looked like Ebay wasn't an option anymore and that was a little disappointing, but other than that I have no complaints. I like how everything is in one place. I receive all my points in the app and then I can turn them in for gift cards and there is a huge array to choose from. Cons There is nothing at this moment that I have found that I don't like. Everything is instant and I have had no issues with it so far.
