We're told we can't share our 50-point allowance just cause; there has to be a reason using one of five (?) hashtags. So many nectar points not being shared cause people don't care, the earning rate doesn't make it worth it. Pros Gift cards. I can't remember what I redeemed my first $10 for. It's nice to treat yourself. Food or something. Cons The point system. I'm not sure what decisions are due to my employer and how nectar is already set up. I haven't had any negative experiences using the platform, and generally the sentiment from my colleagues is the same. Pros Nectar has been a very simple way to recognize colleagues for anything from exceptional performance to work anniversaries and birthdays. I like that points can be saved until you are ready to redeem. This allows small point awards to add up to big rewards! Cons I don't really have anything negative to report about Nectar. I am not an administrator of the program where I work and from that end there may be some cons, I have not experienced any myself. Additionally, it is very easy and intuitive to use and some of the features allow you to directly tie the behaviors you're shouting out to the core values of your organization! Cons There is nothing that I don't enjoy about Nectar! I think it's a great solution. If there were improvements for the future, I think it could be data analytics for People and Culture teams to help them even more with spotlighting "the best" behaviors and driving culture. It’s very easy to use, and redeeming gift cards is quick and simple. Pros What I like about Nectar is that they give you 50 points each month that you can share with coworkers to recognize their efforts and give them a shout-out. I also appreciate the great rewards—recently, I received a $25 gift card that I can use both online and in stores. There’s a wide variety of gift cards to choose from, and they also offer excellent discounts on hotels, sports, and more. Pros Nectar is one of the most engaging ways to do peer-to-peer recognition of great work or gratitude. In remote work environments, it's sometimes hard to show gratitude. Nectar makes this easy by not only providing a public forum for acknowledement but also monetary compensation for going above and beyond. Cons Nothing, nectar is excellent! Sometimes, the runtime is a bit slow and it uses a fair bit of RAM when opened in Chrome. Cons There have been a couple of times when that app wasn't working correctly to file claims. The first time it was fixed quickly, the second time it took longer.
