I haven't had any negative experiences using the platform, and generally the sentiment from my colleagues is the same. Pros Nectar has been a very simple way to recognize colleagues for anything from exceptional performance to work anniversaries and birthdays. I like that points can be saved until you are ready to redeem. This allows small point awards to add up to big rewards! Cons I don't really have anything negative to report about Nectar. I am not an administrator of the program where I work and from that end there may be some cons, I have not experienced any myself. Pros I really like it helps the team engage with one another, especially when working from home. It's incredibly easy to use, and does a wonder for morale. Cons The UI was initially a little clunky, but that was in the beginning of using Nectar. Now, I really have no complaints. Coming from a previous job where hard work often went unnoticed, I honestly can’t believe I ever worked without this. It has completely transformed our virtual 'staff room' into a space of constant celebration and support. It makes me feel connected to my colleagues even when we're miles apart. If I could go back in time and bring Nectar to my old workplace, I’d do it in a heartbeat! Pros In the world of virtual teaching, it’s easy to feel like you’re on an island. Nectar is the bridge! Pros The most valuable part about Nectar for me is the opportunity it gives me to recognize my team. Everyone wants to be appreciated and Nectar allows us to show our team how much we do! Cons I would not say there is anything that I like least about Nectar. I only wish that my employer would give us more points to express appreciation to the team, which has nothing to do with the Nectar platform. A good catch phrase for the company is: Make HR fun! That's what Nectar does. It's social media but for HR, which is a wild concept. That said, I hope that if you guys decide to use this catch phrase, I will receive credit for it haha! Pros I like that I can shout out my coworkers in a meaningful manner -- in a way that speaks to everyone -- money. I like to pool my points, so I haven't quite taken advantage of the gift card options made available to us. However, when I'm ready, I know that I have practically every option possible when I inevitably cash in. Cons I don't like that when I click on a notification from my email, I'm not automatically logged in. That part honestly irks me sometimes, especially if I'm trying to check a notification from my phone.
