Once I was low on cash, and I used a gift card to feed my family. I feel like that was the best experience with using nectar. Pros There’s a lot of team collaboration and recognition when using nectar. We highlight the company’s mission when acknowledging fellow employees. It helps me stay on top of working out for that nice weekly and monthly bonus. I think most employers should use nectar. Pros I enjoyed the aspect of rewards for different tasks. It feels grrat to be rewarded for different tasks or even exercising weekly. I feel as if it boosts employees moral aswell. Cons I havent had many complaints actully. I have used their discount program for booking hotels, also which saved me some money. It's pretty a decent point incentive website! Pros The point value system is much easier to determine the monetary value of points. 10 points = $1. Much easier to understand than previous incentive point sites that our company has used in the past Cons I haven't found anything I don't like about it yet. Cons Giving points is easy, but it sometimes difficult to find the person you want to recognize in a larger corporation. Points can be given to anyone in the organization, so it would be nice to be able to create your own list of team members that you recognize more often or allowing those you recognize most to be seen first before seeing those you never know. It functions great. I'd say that if there was a change to be made it would be to send the reminder about your remaining point balance earlier than the last couple days of the month. Whether co-worker, Manager or Supervisor, everyone has the opportunity to say "Good Job, I see you." The monetary portion is an added bonus. Cons The only con I can think of is the gift card redeeming process. Please cut down the number of steps to redeem. Sometimes someone does something awesome at the beginning of the month then in the middle of the month they do something awesome again, but I can't recognize them via Nectar. Also, the ways in which they can choose to be monetarily rewarded (the connected vendors) are fantastic -- they can donate or choose rewards at hundreds of vendors.
