I feel like it encourages people to go above and beyond. Cons There is nothing that I really dislike about Nectar. However, occasionally, it can be a little difficult to log in. Cons Honestly, the only downside for me was the slight learning curve at the very beginning. It took awhile to really get accustomed to shouting out my peers correctly. It's also nice to be able to tell people that they're doing a great job. Pros I liked being able to recognize co-workers and to receive recognition in return, along with the ability to cash in points for gift cards. Cons The only thing I didn't like is that the system limited how many points that I was allowed to give to 1 person. I'm given an a balance that expires each month and it wouldn't let me give over a certain amount to just 1 person, but that was the only recognition that I had to offer at the time, so the other points just went away. I am proud to recognize my peers with my Nectar points. It lets them know that I have been impacted by their good works, so surely others are impacted as well. Pros I like being able to reward my peers for going above and beyond - and I almost like it more that you can reward your supervisor as well. It's rare to have that opportunity without seeming like a brown-noser. Nectar allows you to thank your superiors for their hard work too. Cons I don't like that points expire and you're forced to give them out or lose them. They should accumulate in a piggy bank. Cons There are a lot of employees and few points (I know this isn't Nectar's fault), so it can seem overwhelming to pick a person or people for recognition because so many people are worthy of acknowledgement. Pros What I like the most from nectar is that I am able to get points from my job for rewards and that I am able to get discounts around the U.S for hotels, flights, rentals, and a whole bunch of different things as well. Pros Nice to tool for recognizing those exemplary moments. Also on the receiving side, the flexibility and options for reward redemption. Cons Logs you out after a short period of time, makes you verify your login by waiting for an email pin. Just time consuming and frustrating because it will not remember the device you log in with. It can foster alot of teamwork and employee engagement in broadcasting way. Cons It takes a bit of clicking and making mistakes to get the hang of it. Pros Nectar is easy to use and allows you to provide recognition via words, gifs, emojis and pictures. It is nice to get the points and then be able to use them for fun purchases. There are also a lot of options to convert your points to. Cons There's nothing that I don't like. If I had to absolutelky nitpick, I would have to just say that people can over write the sysem and give you a point instead of sending points in increments of 5. If that happens, you're stuck with a random point balance.
