I love that I get to choose which reward I want! Pros Easy to use, rewards you really want and keeps me engaged. I love the challenges and the simplicity of it. Cons It doesn’t always stay logged in on the app or on the website. We have a lot of challenges so there are lots of challenges to scroll through at times. Maybe a search button would be helpful. I look forward to using more being with W&H Pros I think Nectar is very user friendly, I haven't had any issues navigating the system. I enjoy the filter setting. The gif selection is great. It’s fun to have a way to show and receive appreciation, and to see how others in my org are appreciated. Pros Nectar is an easy way for me to show colleagues my appreciation for the ways they make my life better each week, and it’s a fun way to feel appreciated! Giving points is similarly easy to making a post on any other social media, using @ to tag a colleague, # to highlight what value they’ve brought, and + to award them points. Redeeming points is similar to other gift card stores. Cons I’m not in love with the login experience, my work email is probably my least favorite place to have to fish out MFA codes. Pros We love that we get to highlight positive behaviors of our team and encourage everyone to work towards similar goals. Then this is directly related to reinforcers for those behaviors that everyone enjoys with vast options for point redemptions. Cons It is one more thing to do where you need to login and create shoutouts and review options to earn more points. Pros I find that Nectar's website UI is easy use. They really put a great deal of effort to let you convert your rewards to gift cards effortlessly. Cons I have 1 con but it's not really a con. Pros I like that Nectar is very easy to use, and it is a fun way to recognize our peers. There are so many gift cards to choose from, there's something for everyone. Cons The only con I can come up with for Nectar, is that there's only 9 gifs that appear when I make a search. I think adding a lot more to one search would be a lot more fun. Employees love the immediate recognition and rewards, and managers can easily award points at any time without requiring any prior approvals for spot bonuses. Pros I like being able to recognize and reward our team members for going above and beyond without having to get approvals or coordinating with Payroll. I also love that employees can choose between company swag and numerous gift cards for their rewards. Cons As a Finance Director, Recording and reporting transactions is important. I find the Nectar reporting to be a bit complex and difficult to navigate. Additionally, login to the Nectar system is cumbersome and can be annoying. I honestly avoid logging in because of it. Pros I feel like there's no downside to the benefits that Nectar provides. It's a great way to see your hard work pay off and show other coworkers that you care about the work they do. Pros I like the concept of Nectar. We are able to congratulate and commend our co-workers for the "little" things they do throughout the month. We don't have to wait until a specified time of the year. Cons I have not encountered anything that I don't like about using Nectar. If it could be considered a complaint, it would be having to wait to accumulate enough points to earn your own reward, but this just encourages the user to use it more often and to be a better coworker. It's super easy to learn how to use it and it's also a fun way to recognize people and they work they do. Cons There's nothing I dislike about Nectar, it meets all of my expectations so far. July 25, 2025 5.0 We have loved using Nectar to recognize coworkers who have helped us and go that extra mile when it wasn't necessary. It allows them to not only get the verbal recognition shout out that the whole staff can see but also allows us to build up on that and get rewarded for it! Pros It's very easy to recognize someone on the platform and when you have points, even just a little bit, you can start using them for gift cards for all sorts of different things. It also provides discounts for other places as well. Cons I wish the app still worked like it used to, now it just navigates you to their website which can be a little difficulty to do on a mobile device. However it's still great to use! Pros I personally like the idea of being rewarded with tangible and easily affordable rewards. It builds a more efficient environment at for in my opinion since being a good employee will be rewarded.
