GlobalLink is generally a good CAT tool, with many useful features to help users manage and complete projects quickly, minimizing errors. However, it still doesn't really have a breakthrough or special than other CAT tools.

Pros

I have used many CAT tools, both offline and online, they are often quite similar. GlobalLink has the outstanding feature of being easy to use, with a user-friendly interface, very rarely errors in the working process. Allows users to access the project on any device, even those without strong configuration. Project management is also extremely easy, the project manager and every translator involved can track the completed steps in real time. GlobalLink helps the exchange of information take place quickly so that the project can be completed more smoothly and faster.

Cons

Sometimes when I have to use GlobalLink to translate projects larger than 6000 words, the platform slows down, sometimes it takes a long time to save the translation, it needs to be refreshed many times to be able to use it smoothly. But these are also rare cases, most of the time the platform runs stable. However, GlobalLink doesn't really stand out from other CAT tools, so the higher price tag doesn't make sense.

Has been an amazing experience overall and looking forward to expanding partnership and how we can optimize localization.

Pros

Customer Service, ease of use, and translation quality. The portal makes project management a breeze.

Cons

Product confusion. A lot of products under one umbrella. Takes a bit to understand all the different products.

I’ve enjoyed the conference overall. I do think some of the breakouts needed to have audio for the presenters . Some were to soft spoken.

Pros

I enjoyed the keynote session on day 1 with Seth. He point about trusting myself hit home.

Cons

I wish there was more about how to use the product in the learning space. There were a couple of examples, but felt it was lacking.

Overall pleased with translations and our customer support (Mara). Bit frustrated at the technical issues that pop up and getting them resolved, but issue is not always on GL's side.

Pros

Width and breadth of offerrings and support. Many options I plan to look at for potential future implementation, specifically around media.

Cons

Our implementation in getting our Adobe AEM Guides connector up and running took over 9 months. I think it was a combination of Adobe, Zebra, and GL issues. Would like the invoicing portal to have more sortable options for finding content. With multiple business units using it, it needs filtering to be more effective.

My overall experience has been great. The team that introduced me to it, the overview materials, the templates provided to share out translation phone line instructions, and the sheer quantity of languages offered is off the charts. My end users across the company have been very pleased!

Pros

Easy to implement, cost effective, user friendly. I appreciated how easy it was to get set up and how easy it is to add new users.

Cons

It does appear a bit outdated in look and feel / it is not modern in layout and navigation

Positive. It helps us meet our goals -- especially scaling solutions. Negative -- the poor UI slow things down. The entry obstacle for users is too high.

Pros

The ability to develop idiosyncratic solutions for the workflow we have. And, when needed, we usually get help to do so.

Cons

The company and the tool simply isn't that great on UX. Some of the ideas I share with them are things they have never even thought about. Please hire more UX people.

10/10 The ability to seamless speak to different people and learn about their companies and how they use Salesforce/Language translation is amazing. Everyone enjoyed what they were presenting on, and a lot of the presentations were very interactive. I like when speakers give the audience a chance to ask questions and gain some insight

Pros

i love the interaction between individuals. Ty Trainer's session was my favorite by far. His energy and interacting with clients and individuals is second to none. This event also gave me access to interact with people from different companies, and that is always appreciated.

Cons

It's all been amazing, nothing to complain about.

Easy to Implement and Track, monitor the translation fed sent and received on periodic basic.

Cons

Tapestry uses Translation management,with high quality delivered but the time takes to receive the translation back is time consuming. It takes 3-4 business days to get the translations back.Sometimes exceed the contract price.
