Good at first, then frustrating, then I ditched it. I don’t need all the functionality it has and I certainly don’t need the distraction.

Pros

First of all, it looks cool. It might sound superficial, but you’re going to be looking at it a lot! Secondly, it is very versatile and flexible. You can do anything with it.

Cons

It isn’t always intuitive and I didn’t like having to put building blocks of functionality together before I could start on the actual task I wanted to get done. U found it a bit confusing and it’s potentially a big distraction from what you are supposed to be doing.

### "The Everything Tool"

This tool completely revolutionized my ability to keep track of everything as a teacher. I've been able to migrate many of the systems I built over to my new career outside the classroom. I love that it's so flexible, and works for so many different types of thinkers/workers and projects.

Pros

Endlessly customizable, grows and changes with me, and has almost all the functionality I need in one tool.

Cons

I wish the Notion and Notion Calendar communicated two ways (rather than just Notion to Notion Calendar), and had some more functionality of Airtable Calendar or Google Calendar.

Excellent is what describes my experience with Notion. Very decent for note taking, project organization and sharing insights with my team

Pros

Notion is not only for note taking, it is a full blown project management app that helps track projects, integrate applications for data and analytics and even server as website landing page.

Cons

There is no offline more when you are using motion and but the platform can looky messy and difficult to understand when you first use it.

Pros

I love the variety of pages we can choose from and also it is easy to make your own! I also love how we can link internal pages into one big page, it is amazing to organize.

Cons

Sometimes the dates are a bit off or data from one table will transfer to another.

I love it - I can have all my informations stored in one place with easy access from all of my devices and at the same time. I can customize my templates a lot and make it not only aesthetically pleasing but also very useful for my own purposes.

Pros

It has so many options to choose from and you don't even need to use it's full potential for it to benefit you. You can organize your entire life (work, hobbies, private stuff) all in one. The basic things like to do lists are simple enough for someone who never used it, but if you want to be more creative you could make a lot of great and useful templates (all connected to each other). Also there is bunch of templates already created by notion (and other people) for you to choose from.

Cons

It can be overwhelming if you wanna do more advanced stuff in it (especially for beginners), but at the same time there are many tutorials you can learn from.

Overal is great. It let me do everything I want to on free version.

Pros

It has eveything. I can take my notes. I can create the to do list the way I like. I can create tables and convert them to database option is which I like pretty muhch. And also how I can customise each cell in table like I can add chechboxes, dropdown menu etc. And also it allows me to search for an item in the table without scrolling.

Cons

Least is I would say the sidebar. Once you have added enough items scrolling doesnt work. They add small button more at the bottm and them again scroll to find the itme. I can add favorites so that I can access them easily but still scrilling or seacrhing would have been nice

I stumbled upon this awesome tool for organizing my YouTube channel. Notion is a total lifesaver, it helps me keep track of all my video ideas, my editorial calendar, scripts, and collabs. My experience with Notion has been super straightforward and comprehensive

Pros

Notion is a breeze to use, the interface is user-friendly, and it was easy to get the hang of it. I love how Notion helps me sort all my tasks and figure out which ones are the most important. It's crazy flexible, so I can tailor it to whatever I need and create dashboards to track my stats. And the auto-alerts are a game-changer, they keep me on top of deadlines and make sure I'm tackling everything in the right order

Cons

Honestly, I haven't found anything I don't like about Notion so far

It's very intuitive and flexible. I like the many different options, especially the databases which can be used for so many purposes.

Cons

The only thing I can think of at the moment is that it's a bit annoying that scrolling to the side, in databases is only possible when scrolling to the buttom of the database first.

Some of the navigation can be difficult, particularly if one is not well-versed in how pages and databases are structured at a deep level.

Pros

Notion is my favorite application for productivity. I love to keep track of everything using this application and the fact that I can use it on all my iOS devices like my MacBook, iPhone, and Mac and it all syncs, is extremely convenient. From quick notes, to task lists, to budget planning etc, I use Notion for almost everything to stay organized. The new AI tool is THE BEST thing ever and I use it very frequently. Lastly, being able to use sub pages and embedding links are some reasons why I use this application over others.

Cons

Notion on the iPhone can be kind of hard to switch between all of your notes with the new update that just came out. It is not affected on the Mac or iPad though and is still easy to streamline and see everything.

Great product - have used for a few years, use it in both personal & business life.

Pros

Offers a growing list of comprehensive tools - works great for teams (product documentation, task lists etc), but also individual use (holiday planning, life admin).

Cons

It can quickly get out of control if you don't have someone managing how things are stored / pages are structured. Costs can be quite steep on smaller teams.

Notion is a very great tool to enjoy for free. It can do a lot of things - diary, managing schedule, habit tracker, and reading journals. I switched from Todoist to Notion because I loved how customizable Notion was. The ability to design a visually appealing workspace was motivating.
