### "Notion is a definite must for top tier performance!"

June 22, 2023

5.0

Overall, I genuinely and wholeheartedly love this app and reap all the benefits from using it. I have noticed such a drastic change within my work. My motivation, organization, and completion progress have done nothing but skyrocket since I began using notion and I haven't looked back since. I plan on using it as my tried and true for as long as it is around as well as continue to recommend it to everyone I can!

Pros

The number one thing I absolutely adore about notion is how customizable the app is. You can entirely tailor your layout or layouts to however you'd like it be. Not only does it provide this for users by allowing flexible and unlimited list and task pages, but by also allowing users to design how their notion pages look as well! Who wouldn't want their time/task manager set up to be aesthetically appealing and eye engaging while also being super functional and productive. All around I would say notion is a perfectly well rounded app for anyone to use for any reason while also being extremely easy to navigate and user friendly. Great app/website! 100/10 recommend to all my friends!

Cons

I honestly don't think I have a single thing negative to say about notion genuinely. I have never had anything but positive experiences while using it and have had so much success with it there isn't anything coming to mind that I would change. I truly believe it is already as close to perfect as it can be with how it is now.

[Google Calendar](https://www.capterra.com/p/213340/Google-Calendar/)

Google Calendar as well as other calendar types got too muddy too quickly with how much work I was having to do at a time. Neatly arranging and organizing my tasks and events was one struggle I faced, but also even tracking said to-do activities was a whole other issue within itself. It felt almost suffocating with how in disarray my calendar always looked and it was making me feel extremely overwhelmed so I figured it was time to reset and try something new.

### "Organized? No? Get Notion! "

February 5, 2024

5.0

Overall Notion is a great app for getting organized and storing your files. However, if you are wanting to share it this might not be the best app for sharing. I really used the recipe tab a lot while doing whole30 and it was great that I could put in the link to the recipe and everything else I wanted from it, even the picture. Using the free version just for yourself is definitely the way to go for getting organized.

Pros

Notion is a great platform that is cloud base and can be accessed from anywhere! Your phone, computer, ipad, it is on the go with you. If you are a person that struggles with organization or just love to be organized this app is for you! It comes with preloaded templates to help you get started if you are sure what information you want to put in it. The templates are also customizable. This is my favorite feature as it is nice to have a base to start with but then change it to give me all the information that I want to see.

Cons

This is not the most user friendly app if you are not good with technology. It takes some time to get used to and how to navigate it. Building new templates also took me a little bit to figure out. I found it was easier to modify a current template than starting again. Also, I don't like the way the way the free account is set up and I looked at upgrading because of this but decided not to due to price. I tried to add a user under me to see what I was adding as I wanted it to be a shared "House" folder. Once they were signed up they could see the folder but nothing in it. Making the comment section of it pointless if I am the only one to comment on it. After finding this out I tried to upgrade thinking this is the problem. However, for me to upgrade it would have been about $100 for the year, but since I had my husband on there to see the folder it was charging me 2 subscription fees making it $200! That is not worth it in my book for how we are using it as a family.

### "My notion review "

August 30, 2023

4.0

Notion is a project management and note taking project platform, designed to help members or companies coordinate deadlines. It has tons of cool features and an amazing dashboard for such a low price, which is why I would highly recommend this software to most people.

Pros

I really liked that that notion had alot of useful features, which helped me alot of productivity, workflow management and general staying organized. I also loved the amazing design of the dashboard, and the cool template.

Cons

I didn't like that the software didn't work very well offline, which I think could be a problem for people who have bad Internet or want to work anywhere. Furthermore, notion didn't have native automations, which is very bad if you want to automate emails, slack, messages or anything else.

### "Notion is our lifeblood"

October 9, 2023

5.0

Overall, I'm super happy with Notion. I use it literally every day and depend on it a great deal. Would recommend to other startup founders and small businesses.

Pros

Notion makes organizing our entire company generally easier. We use the tools for taking notes during external calls, documenting our code, writing the employee handbook, and planning our product roadmap. Notion makes it super easy to spin up pages and organize them based on their respective topics. The ability to also nestle in any relevant content on a page is super helpful for building pages around sales or partnerships - they become fully contextual.

Cons

What is tough about Notion is that it can be hard to get going. I at first was apprehensive to the tool because initially it's very confusing. Once the onboarding and UX is fully smoothed out, everyone will be on it. Once overcoming the initial hurdle though and you learn to "speak the Notion language" it'll change your life.

### "A perfect fit if you're willing to learn. "

February 19, 2024

5.0

Pros

Notion is a sandbox in the project management department. It can fit perfectly into any workflow and makes it incredibly easy share this in and outside of your team. If you're team is looking for a quick solution, Notion is always a fit.

Cons

The Text Editor, when compared to more mature software like Google Docs, still lags behind a bit. I would characterize Notion more as a place where content ends up, rather than where it is initially written down.

### "The best scheduling and work organization tool"

September 4, 2023

4.0

The disjointed and chaotic nature of digital workflows is addressed by Notion. It was useful for both my professional and personal life because it consolidated my team's efforts and my own into a single app, eliminating the need for me to juggle numerous programs and platforms.

Pros

The finest app I've found so far, it's helped me get my life in order and better manage my time. I really like how I can choose from pre-made templates or make my own custom collection. Another helpful aspect is its adaptability, which lets me make different kinds of content, such as checklists.

Cons

It's inconvenient that I can't access the concept from my mobile device, and it would benefit from more widgets, possibly even dedicated ones, for use on mobile apps.

### "Notion is collaboration multiplier!"

September 18, 2023

5.0

We really like Notion to collaborate as a team. Overall, it has been a positive experience with a high adoption rate. This has supercharged our productivity and allowed us to be more focused as a team.

Pros

Notion makes it easy for us to manage tasks, collaborate, and create "living documents" that are used within singular teams and across our organization. It is a powerful tool that is intuitive and easy to learn!

Cons

Notion is fantastic, the only negative I can think of is that I wish it had better functionality with Microsoft Teams/Office products.

### "Notion is a powerful all-in-one workspace that offers an impressive range of features"

June 22, 2023

4.0

Notion is a versatile and collaborative workspace that excels in organizing and managing information. Its customization options, collaborative features, and dynamic content capabilities make it a powerful tool for individuals and teams. Despite its learning curve and the absence of native mobile apps, Notion remains a top choice for those seeking a flexible and highly adaptable workspace solution.

Pros

Notion is a powerful all-in-one workspace that offers an impressive range of features and customization options. It serves as an organizational hub for individuals, teams, and even entire organizations. After using Notion extensively, here's my review of its key strengths and areas for improvement.Notion's greatest strength lies in its versatility. The platform allows users to create and organize a wide variety of content types, including notes, documents, databases, task lists, and more. The flexibility in structuring information makes it suitable for various use cases, from personal note-taking to project management and team collaboration. The ability to customize and design pages within Notion is impressive. Users can personalize their workspace with a variety of templates, layouts, and formatting options. The intuitive drag-and-drop interface makes organizing and reorganizing content a breeze. It's a highly adaptable platform that can be tailored to match individual preferences and workflows.Notion's collaborative features are robust and facilitate seamless teamwork. Real-time editing, commenting, and task assignment allow for effective collaboration within teams. The ability to share specific pages or entire workspaces with colleagues ensures everyone stays on the same page. The platform's permissions and access controls provide added security and control over sensitive information.

Cons

While Notion is a feature-rich platform, its learning curve can be steep for newcomers. The vast array of options and possibilities might overwhelm users initially. However, Notion's extensive documentation, tutorial videos, and active community help mitigate this challenge by providing valuable resources for learning and exploring its capabilities.Another consideration is the lack of native mobile apps. While Notion offers mobile access through its web app and mobile browser, a dedicated mobile app would provide a more seamless and optimized experience. However, the company has been actively working on improving the mobile experience, and updates may address this concern in the future.

### "Notion is our internal knowledge base"

December 11, 2023

4.0

It uses Notion as pre-purchase knowledge and is built into our human resource management system so that each person has an authorization. We have consistently been within the initial plan and the spend we have each year is considerable and cheaper compared to the largest knowledge base competitor without needing to make many distinctions. There are several possible integrations and I coupled them perfectly with SCIM's automatic provisioning and, in addition, automatic deprovisioning of temporary users.

Pros

I like that the user interface is more hygienic and simpler to learn and use compared to its main competitor. The administration of it is clear and there are no distinctions in the complexity of permissions to be managed or created. Granting permissions is simple for leaders, invitations for guests is straightforward and it's not all the same as it is in their primary competition. In addition, I like the simplicity with which you can collaborate or privately perform anything that is a work in progress. Once the item has been added and removed from the work area, end users are going to be able to prevent it from being modified so no one else can add to it.

Cons

We have some unofficial workspaces that end users originate and then abandoned before I arrived, and although I am the web administrator, this is not a simple workspace deletion. Also, the initial schedule does not have a list of dates on which activity will occur. Check if users who do not use one for sixty days have active SaaS licenses or not, this "last act" feature is not available in the plan we have.

### "Notion help organise chaos"

November 9, 2023

5.0

My overall experience with Notion has been transformative. It's a digital Swiss Army knife for task management—complex yet precise, and endlessly adaptable. Once past the initial learning phase, it feels like an extension of one's cognitive process, neatly organizing thoughts, tasks, and projects. Despite some minor drawbacks, Notion has been a cornerstone tool for personal organization and team collaboration.

Pros

What I liked most about Notion is its unparalleled customization capabilities. It empowers you to build a personal or professional workspace tailored precisely to your needs. The blend of databases, kanban boards, wikis, calendars, and reminders all in one cohesive interface streamlines task management and promotes productivity. The collaborative features and real-time updates enhance team synergy, making it an invaluable tool for collective project management.

Cons

What I liked least about Notion can be its steep learning curve for new users. The very flexibility that makes it powerful can also be overwhelming at first, and it may take time to fully leverage its capabilities.

Reason for choosing Notion

The flexibility of Notion has been a game-changer. Unlike Evernote Teams, Notion's modular approach allows me to create a tailored workspace that adapts to our team's evolving needs. The ability to integrate databases, task management, and documentation in one platform, with granular control over permissions and views, has simplified our workflows significantly. Moreover, the price point of Notion, offering a robust free tier and competitively priced paid plans, provides excellent value.

### "Notion increased efficiency and collaboration"

September 7, 2023

4.0

Overall, Notion is a good tool to invest in to increase your team's productivity and efficiency. Once you overcome the initial hiccups, you will find Notion making your day-to-day work smoother.

Pros

Project management and task management was my favourite feature of Notion. In terms of collaboration, this feature helped the team and I keep track of the various marketing assets flowing through on a daily basis. With respect to personal requirements, I use Notion - daily during my work for various tasks such as note-taking and strategy planning. Also, the templates are a cherry on top.

Cons

Notion is not a beginner-friendly tool. Initially, it took me and my colleagues some time to get used to Notion and its features.

### "The Tool I Didn't Know I Needed as a Solopreneur"

October 19, 2023

5.0

I honestly thought I was only going to use Notion as a repository for all of my documents and just stuff that needed to be placed somewhere for my team to see. Then I discovered I could share pages as websites on Notion and that changed everything for me. I now create digital products there and it's been a journey of transformation for me.

Pros

As a social media solopreneur, I find Notion to be a game changer in managing my varied tasks. Its versatility is what enamors me the most. Notion serves as a centralized hub where I can jot down ideas, plan my content calendar, track my client engagements, and even maintain my to-do lists. The template feature is a significant time-saver; it allows me to create reusable structures for my projects, which streamlines my workflow tremendously. The integration capability is another highlight; being able to connect with other tools I use daily, like Google Calendar and Trello, makes my work process seamless and less cluttered. Moreover, the sleek, user-friendly interface is not only aesthetically pleasing but makes navigation and task management a breeze. In a realm where time is of the essence, Notion helps me stay organized, focused, and above all, productive.

Cons

I found that there's a slight learning curve to mastering Notion. Initially, the plethora of features felt overwhelming, making the setup a bit daunting. However, once over that hurdle, the benefits are immense. Despite this, I do wish the mobile app were as intuitive as the desktop version to cater to my on-the-go lifestyle.

Cons

### "versatile and powerful tool to help you organize your docs, and manage your tasks"

December 8, 2022

5.0

I find it to be a very versatile and powerful tool that has greatly improved my ability to organize and manage my work. The clean interface, availability on multiple platforms, and the variety of integrations with other tools and services make it a pleasure to use.In many ways, I consider it to be the new Google Drive, but with more flexibility and customization options. I would definitely recommend Notion to anyone looking for a better way to organize and manage their work.

Pros

It is highly customizable and can be used for a wide range of purposes, including project management, note taking, and task tracking. I also like it because it's easy to use and has a clean and intuitive interface. Additionally, it is available on the web, mobile and desktop.

Cons

I found it hard to use Notion on iPads and with Apple Pencils. While it's very intuitive on laptop, it's doesn't feel the same on an iPad when using a pencil.

With Notion, I can create custom workspaces for organizing and managing my work, and I can easily add and rearrange different types of content, such as text, images, and files. This makes it easier for me to create a workspace that is tailored to my specific needs and preferences.Another reason is that Notion integrates with a wider range of tools and services. This makes it easier for me to use Notion as part of a larger digital workspace, as it can integrate with tools such as Trello, Asana, and Slack, among others. This can be especially useful for teams that need to collaborate and share information across different tools and platforms. Finally, I find that Notion is simply designed to be accessible to users of all skill levels. This makes it a good option for individuals and teams who want a tool that is easy to learn and use, without sacrificing functionality.

### "Maximizing Organization and Visualization: A Critical Look at Notion"

May 11, 2023

5.0

Notion allows me to easily have all my information in any format I want just a few clicks away. It is incredibly time-saving, especially with the new addition of Notion AI. I find myself moving away from my beloved notebooks and into Notion due to its ease of use, organizational power, and flexibility.

Pros

My favorite feature about Notion is its flexibility and customization. I can create and organize my notes, projects, list, etc in a digital workplace that fits my needs and preferences. This is even more powerful when combined with Notions powerful organizational features, which allow me to create different views and filtering for my information, allowing me to quickly and effectively find anything I need.I also enjoy the fact that I can integrate it with other apps, such as Slack, Google Calendar, and more.

Cons

Notion does have a steap learning curve in my opinion. Creating custom templates is very tricky and I have not mastered it yet, but luckily, this is easily remedied by the vast amount of free templates they offer.

### "Notion to House my Business"

September 14, 2023

5.0

I can hold everything in Notion for my solopreneur business. I'm reducing the amount of paper I'm using as all my documentation goes into Notion.

Pros

When I first used Notion it was because of a set of templates I purchased for blogging and didn't like having to be forced to use an outside system for that. But after about a week, I was hooked on Notion and started to add more and more to it. I know I'm only using about 10 percent of it's capabilities and next week I'm going to be using it to house my own templates as well.

Cons

features missing: search and replace is a big one for me.

### "Motion to use Notion (I was REALLY trying to make it rhyme!)"

April 17, 2023

5.0

Never heard of anyone wanting to change it to something else, which is high praise on its own! I fell in love with it when my company utilized it to onboard me, and I have stayed faithful ever since.

Pros

It is a user-friendly space for organizing the work of any remote team. Multiple workspaces, the ability to create templates, and a very robust database system work to the advantage of keeping your thoughts and notes organized. Just remember to spend some time planning the architecture. It's not the easiest entry point, but once that's settled it's really a pleasure to work with.

Cons

Once the organization is large enough, keeping all the articles current is a challenge. I would recommend finding a couple of Notion champions who would keep the volume and quality in check.

### "Notion is the ultimate all-in-one workspace that seamlessly combines organization and collaboration "

June 10, 2023

5.0

Overall, my experience with Notion has been highly positive. The software has become an integral part of my personal and professional life, helping me stay organized, collaborate efficiently, and manage various aspects of my work. The benefits I have realized through using Notion are numerous. Firstly, it has enhanced my productivity by providing a unified workspace where I can access all my information, tasks, and documents in one place. This has saved me time and eliminated the need to switch between multiple applications. The customizable templates and flexible interface have allowed me to tailor Notion to my specific needs, resulting in a personalized and efficient workspace.

Pros

One of the things I liked most about Notion is its flexibility and customization options. The block-based system and the ability to create interconnected documents and databases tailored to my specific needs have been incredibly useful. It allows me to organize and structure my information exactly the way I want, resulting in a personalized and efficient workspace.

Cons

While Notion offers a wide range of features and capabilities, the learning curve can be a bit steep for new users. ### "Great Workspace for Task Management and Collaboration"

November 17, 2023

5.0

Overall, it is a valuable tool for me to use. I like the simplicity how it looks and the collaborative aspect.

Pros

Notion can be anything you want it to be. The ultimate notes page, a content planner or calendar, a checklist, a collaborative workspace. You can create any type of 'web page' with a clean aesthetic. Notion provides some basic templates that you can build out and add to. I mainly use it as a combination of all the above examples. I outline projects and tasks for myself while sharing workspaces of a content calendar and notes pages with clients.

Cons

While I use Notion often and have learned main functions -- it can be a learning curve when sharing workspaces with clients who aren't so tech savvy. Viewing workspaces are straight forward but when editing or adding a section, it can be tricky if never used before. I usually have to walk through with clients on how to add a task, or upload documents, or type in comments.

### "I use Notion for almost everything!"

June 12, 2023

5.0

I love Notion since the first time I used it. I like that I take from pages designed by other people or that I can customize my own pages as much as I want. I like how it is synchronized on all of my devices, I love the new AI assistant, and now I don't experience email anxiety anymore, or blank page anxiety.

Pros

Recently, what I like the most about Notion is the integration with Zotero (aka Notero) because it helps me keep track of all the papers and other references I use for school. Zotero is synched in all my devices and now it is also synched with Notion. I also make use of AI to proofread all my texts, write emails, improve their syntax, etc.

Cons

The programming element behind Notion to customize pages and their functioning is a little intimidating.

Microsoft is trying to copy Notion via Loop, but I am a fierce loyalist and will not give up Notion for any competitor.

Pros

Notion product development is top notch. New highly usable features keep getting rolled out.

Cons

Although there’s a Notero work-around, I’d still like a Zotero seamless integration, please. Also, although embedded PDFs are very satisfactory, it will be amazing if users can annotate PDFs within Notion.

Yes, sadly with Microsoft I have lost countless versions of documents because OneDrive just simply goes kaput unexpectedly. Those were truly depressing times. Thank goodness there’s Notion!
