### "Notion honest review"

December 8, 2022

4.0

It's an absolutely fantastic tool. It has a learning curve that is challenging at points, but there is a great community out there willing to assist.

Pros

The use of databases and backlinks is extremely compelling. Notion does exceptionally well in a concept that other note taking and collaboration apps could not even think about. A fantastic tool that one certainly should invest the time to learn how to use.

Cons

The only 2 things that bother me in Notion is the lack of offline usage and performance at some points. I understand is extremely difficult to create offline version of it, but is very crucial. Having everything on their servers is a bit worrying. As a result to this, comes also a toll on the performance. Bad internet connection slows it a lot, and generally the app feels heavy especially on mobile devices.

### "Best Choice for knowledge Transfer"

August 18, 2021

5.0

I would say, I will keep using it for both my professional and personal use. Right now, I don't see any alternative to this.

Pros

The notion is one of the best tools out there for transfer knowledge, documentation, and journal. I have been using it for professional and personal use. - Apps available - Amazing Search - Very Easy to Share - Guest access to limited pages. and much, much more. I don't think I know of any other similar tools. I have used g-docs, Evernote, etc but this was simply put another level

Cons

The only cons I found while using this application were switching between my professional and personal notion accounts. Which has improved over time and I hope will improve even more.

### "My testimony and avaluation of Notion"

January 21, 2023

4.0

Overall, my experience using Notion for task and project management has been positive. The platform offers a wide range of features such as task scheduling, editing and updating, progress tracking, project planning, and integration with other apps and services, that allows me to stay organized and manage my work effectively. The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it simple to use even for someone who is new to the software. The ability to create custom properties and use tags enables me to categorize and sort my tasks in a way that makes sense for me. Additionally, the ability to embed other types of content like images, videos, and documents in my pages, allows me to keep all my project related information in one place. However, I have found that the integration with other apps and services could be improved, and the mobile app experience could be more user-friendly. Overall, Notion has been a great tool for me to increase my productivity and stay organized.

Pros

I have been using Notion for task and project management for several months now, and I have found that one feature that I particularly appreciate is the flexibility of the platform. Notion allows me to customize and tailor the way I organize my tasks and projects to my specific needs. The ability to create custom properties and use tags enables me to categorize and sort my tasks in a way that makes sense for me. Additionally, the ability to embed other types of content like images, videos, and documents in my pages, allows me to keep all my project related information in one place. I also appreciate the simplicity of the platform, it allows me to focus on my work and not getting lost in a maze of settings and options. Overall, the flexibility and simplicity of Notion is a feature that I particularly appreciate, it helps me to stay organized and productive.

Cons

I have found that one feature that I particularly dislike is the limited integration with other apps and services. While it's possible to integrate with other apps like Google Drive and Trello, it still doesn't provide the same level of seamless integration as other project management tools. Additionally, the lack of real-time collaboration tools such as in-app chat or video conferencing makes it difficult to work efficiently with my team. Furthermore, I found the mobile app experience to be a bit clunky and not as user-friendly as the web version. Overall, while Notion offers some integration and collaboration features, it could be improved to provide a more seamless experience across different apps and platforms.

Reason for choosing Notion

I chose to use Notion for task and project management because it offers a wide range of features and customization options that fit my specific needs. The ability to create custom properties and use tags allows me to easily categorize and sort my tasks in a way that makes sense for me. Additionally, the ability to embed other types of content like images, videos, and documents in my pages, allows me to keep all my project related information in one place. The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it simple to use even for someone who is new to the software. Furthermore, the integration with other apps and services like Google Drive, Trello, and Slack, makes it easy to centralize all my project related content and communication. Overall, Notion offers the flexibility, simplicity, and integration that I was looking for in a task and project management tool and has helped me to improve my productivity and stay organized.

### "Notion for Freelancers"

January 13, 2023

5.0

I have been using Notion to grow my business and manage incoming freelance projects as well as changing my habits and building a better version of my self . It did help a lot because sometimes as a human being we get ideas which remain ideas unless we start taking action on those ideas and notion helps you to build home for your ideas and work on them on time.

Pros

I like the flexbility and user interface that the software provides as well as wide tools and functions to help you decorate and add your personal to your pages so far and so on . It's easy to customize your pages and it works so good for people from different specialities and frameworks.

Cons

I don't think that there is anything that i do not like about the product because it's so fascinating and everyone agrees with me on this part.

### "I'm a Notioner! Thank Youy Notion"

December 3, 2021

5.0

Notion first found it on Product Hunt and I really like it. He literally grew up before my eyes! I'm still using it but I don't know for how long. I recommend it to people I know (or even don't) because it seems unfair to them. Easy to use and too minimalistic :). For example, in my Twitter UI Redesing project on my own Behance account, the design language in the details pane makes Notion perfect! https://www.behance.net/gallery/130711605/Twitter-UI-Re-Desing

Pros

Anyone can "create" a theme and earn money that would be great. It would help the students, but even though I am a student, I think that this can tire Notion a lot. There's also a "Good Day Notioner!" that greets you every morning. I used to love a dashboard. I think it will attract attention if it is created in a mascot. For example, I am a "Notioner!" Hahaha, thank you notion. This has been a legendary program and will never be forgotten, just like the legendary talents of riot games, I expect such a potential from you.

Cons

I haven't come across many problems with Notion, but it seems very lacking in UI, I like too much minimalist, but this is too much and reminds me of amazon's UI stubbornness. I can't focus. But you can create a system called Notion UI and announce it to the world in a very nice way (like Material You etc.)

### "My second brain, Now I can remember all I learn thanks to notion"

October 11, 2022

5.0

The program known as Notion has a very high degree of adaptability. Because of their databases, which allow for a variety of displays, including calendar, Kanban, table, and list formats. It was quite easy to understand and enjoyable to use, in my opinion. It is entirely comprehensible to me how this might take the place of something like Google Docs and serve as a hub for your team. The very thought of it is astounding. My life is going to be lot simpler from now on. If only I had this concept while I was in school, I would be an encyclopedia right now.

Pros

The way notion links up and create connections between your knowledge is spectacular, you would think you are using a relational database management software. It is easily customization and also has powerful functions that you can use to extend its capability. Notion has a great community who have developed templates for almost anything conceivable and most of these templates are for free. Another thing is the seamless integration with the mobile app, its like you are actually working on the same device

Cons

Notion has limited fonts and styling. The most painful part of notion is the inability to set recurrent tasks in notion, it is a pain, you have to buy addons to be able to achieve this

### "Notion drives productivity with its intuitive & powerful project management & planning capabilities."

January 21, 2023

5.0

Notion exceeds my expectations with its exceptional planning & collaboration tools, rich workspace management & build-up and facilitation towards steering our project progression towards completion. The utility has continuously assisted our engineering team in accomplishing multiple government & private construction projects since its implementation into our workplace.

Pros

The ability to set up & customize my entire virtual workspace from a single platform is truly mind-boggling, & Notion does just that with its incredible multi-project management utilities to run our numerous construction projects without interruptions. The snappy performance & masterfully-crafted interface found on the web, mobile & desktop versions makes Notion one of the most versatile productivity applications out there. As a site engineer, it is my utmost priority to ensure resources are being efficiently utilized on site without causing any progress delays. Notion plays a crucial role in helping me organize & visualize my current & upcoming tasks as well as which ones require immediate attention to remain on track with the project schedule. Assigning workforce & performing reallocations is done easily using Notion & that helps me further optimize my workforce to drive progression in our project. Collaborating with our engineering crew to virtually meet & resolve several project obstacles have been one of the strongest use-case scenarios with this utility.

Cons

I cannot think of a limitation encountered with the service. Notion catalyses my work & it's just perfect the way it is.

### "Notion is my most used business tool and I'm not sure how I lived before it. "

March 10, 2022

5.0

Notion is a great way to manage your business and time. I hold on to a lot of data and need a good way to manage and use it and notion has replaced Airtable, Todoist and ZOHO, is less expensive and keeps me focused in one place rather than switching to different services to accomplish one thing.

Pros

Notion is my go-to day-to-day business tool that I cannot function without. It helps me manage so much data, easily, and turn that data into something useful AND I use templates to make it happen so I invest little time into seeing results. Notion has saved me hundreds of hours and many dollars by keeping my important info all in one place.

Cons

Notion has a learning curve for sure. If you're not familiar with things like relational databases then you'll want to view their tutorials or head to Youtube to figure that part out or you wont get the most out of this service . It's actually not hard, but it does take time and you'll miss some features otherwise.

### "I Run My Life with Notion"

April 27, 2022

5.0

I absolutely love Notion. Since the first day I discovered it, it has been in integral part of my business and personal functions. There isn't anything I haven't been able to use Notion for, so far.

Pros

I use Notion as my Life Dashboard. It is the first thing I open in the morning, and it is open for the rest of the day. I use it for everything from trip planning to client records. I track my budget, my health, my tasks...everything.

Cons

It took me a while to get a grasp on linking databases and I do wish it was a little more "user friendly" and intuitive...but there are tutorials and plenty of templates and examples.

### "A tool so versatile that it will adapt to your needs"

May 10, 2022

5.0

Since I discovered Notion almost two years ago, it has become an essential tool for me. As it integrates such a vast number of options, I can use it to take notes, draft articles, brainstorm new ideas, plan each course week, and keep track of expenses... My workflow has improved because it allows me to have very different aspects of my work within the same environment. I don't need to switch from one app to another because Notion includes several I usually use.

Pros

My favorite thing from Notion has to do with its flexibility. I use it mainly to draft essays, blog posts, and articles. It's easier for me than any word processing software because Notion allows me --beyond being a multiplatform app-- to reorganize both my text and my files very smoothly. The heaps of templates available are also a great deal. For example, I use one template weekly to keep track of certain incomes and spending. I have also used templates to plan my classes for one semester or sketch a future book's ideas. I also use it as a note-taking app for every meeting.

Cons

I am pretty happy about it, and I have not used several features that look interesting. The only real problem I have had so far is its dependency upon connection. There is no offline mode. So, eight or ten months ago Notion system was down, and I could not access my drafts for half a day.

Notion offers a cleaner interface than ClickUp; I work solo, so I need a simple tool. Regarding Google Keep, as I have mentioned, Notion had all the benefits of a note-taking app but in the same place where other tools (to-do lists, planners, etc.) are.

### "A vital tool"

July 8, 2022

5.0

The initial learning curve\* is sooooooo worth it; I now manage just about everything through Notion. For me, it's the '2nd brain' that the likes of \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] bang on about (and with good reason) - I'm more organised, more productive and less stressed. \*Only to use it more extensively; if you just want an Evernote or OneNote alternative, it's as easy as they are)

Pros

Enables me to record, note and plan things in whatever way works best at the time, and then find it again, instantly!

Cons

As a new user, it takes a little planning to maximise some of its benefits; I needed to rethink the structure behind many things that had previously existed purely as notes.

Using it as my go-to tool for note-taking, project tracking, and sharing a common knowledge base across people. Use it for personal use cases for tracking my startup growth.

Pros

Excellent note-taking tool. Good for document storage and sharing. It also has a feature profile management, for personal and company usage. Files can be shared and made available publically. Good pre-defined setup for project tracking and management. My personal favorite is the Page icon and the cover icon of the page. Amazing community and pre-defined templates available for all general use cases.

Cons

It just can't be used directly, and comes with a decent learning curve. More integrations with tools needed, also support for more coding languages.

### "Manage your life like a PRO!"

February 21, 2023

Having this application is a game changer. I have once used it before when I was still studying in college and downloaded it again when I took on a project management role. I was surprised that there were a lot of features particularly templates in it that I was not able to fully utilize before. I'm glad to have found this app again and I have decided that this app is a must have.

Pros

This app has all the features I need in managing my tasks and projects. There are unexpectedly lots of preloaded templates that are very helpful and useful for students, professional and even for managing household. I started using it to track progress of my projects and tasks during college and I'm still using it for work and even on personal matters like saving recipe links which is very helpful for me as a working mom.

Cons

I wish that Notion has the option for me to link and download schedules from other calendar app particularly Google calendar.

### "Great versatile tool for businesses and personal use"

October 4, 2022

5.0

We use Notion for a lot within our org, but mainly knowledge management. It's easy to organize and find your documents and document your processes to share with your team as a central hub. One of my favorite tools out there and indispensable really.

Pros

The best thing about Notion is its flexibility, that you can customize it to work as almost anything in your day to day, whether its note taking, documentation, knowledge storing or anything else.

Cons

Task management and collaboration can be improved, especially task management needs to get a big upgrade to be able to replace dedicated task management softwares for larger teams. Notion's big benefit, its customization abilities holds it back because although there's hundreds of templates, you do have to set it up and really educate your team on how to use it within your own organization's context, something dedicated task management solutions do for you. I never have to worry if someone "gets" Asana, but if I were to replace Asana with Notion I'd have to really educate my team on how to properly use Notion and all its tools. It's a fine balance to strike but overall Notion is doing a great job at it.

I use Notion to plan and organize both my life and my business. With regards to life, that constitutes things that I want to do in my spare time, travel planning, personal education/development, and even jounraling. With business, I can plan and track project, organize my content, plan strategies to launch, write information for courses and ebooks, write scripts for videos... literally everything that is necessary to have an organized life and business is available with Notion.

Pros

Notion is the most versatile software I have ever used. It can be used as a journal, a planner, a calendar, a project manager, a content manager, and more, and all at the same time! You get to choose how it works for you. In any situation, you have full control and can leverage Notions many tools, integrations, widgets and templates to achieve a system that works in the same unique way that your brain works. It is truly a fascinating product.

Cons

Although Notion is fairly intuitive and easy to use, there is a significant learning curve in order to use the software at its best. The great thing is, there are plenty of videos and blog posts online to teach you.

So far it has been a great experience for me and my team. Notion has turned into an app that is always open on the computer, just like the email client.

Pros

In our case as a digital assets and marketing company, we need to keep track of many clients and projects. The database feature in Notion allows us to create custom databases where we can filter, search, update and share easily with our clients.

Cons

Maybe it's because of our business type, we don't use Notion for our own project management tasks. However, we discuss and collaborate every day in Notion to deploy our project management tasks in another tool.

### "Notion Makes Life Handy"

September 25, 2022

5.0

Overall, Notion is perfect for me. Before using Notion, I have difficulty remembering my to-dos and deliverables, and I procrastinate. But after using Notion, my life has become at ease. I follow my schedules diligently and submit my assignments and projects days or even a week before the due date. It helped me get things done on or before they were needed. It helped me to stay organized and productive. I also achieved high scores on my exams and received positive feedback from my teachers. Overall, I recommend using Notion whether you are a student, a working professional or a freelancer, or just to anyone who wants to keep things tidy and organized.

Pros

Notion is creatively giving me everything I need to organize my life, from creating my schedules to tracking my expenses, tasks, progress, hobbies, and the like. What I like most about this software is that it makes your life manageable and organized and makes you creative. I can create a lot of templates I want to have in managing my tasks and projects. Also, for a student like me who has a university email, it gives me free access which is a bonus.

Cons

There is nothing not to like about this software when I know how to do and use it. But when I first used it, I was confused about how I could get creative with this, but as I continued to explore, it made me more productive and have all my deliverables done before the due date.

It has a different directory operation than usual, even "the excel" is not the classic one but much smarter and prettier, same for databases. I recommend trying the features slowly by looking for the tutorials and without wanting to manage your whole life right away with notion, you will fall in love with it with time, it is the woman of your life, not a quickie

Pros

already in the free version you can do everything, manage notes, projects, roadmaps, gantt, databases linked to tables linked to sheets, you can link everything and with one click you transform views from table to "Trello-like" or whatever. Group containers inside containers or parallel, visually manage as you like, share, publish like an indexed site... endless possibilities! I didn't like the aesthetics and after 10 minutes I had abandoned it, a year later, intrigued by 1000 positive reviews everywhere I tested it again and more thoroughly and fell in love with it!

Cons

the site doesn't reload immediately, the app is a little slower. The learning curve is medium length, longer than any other similar tool, it is not always intuitive, but not because it is poorly made, but because it has endless possibilities. I recommend increasing them one at a time! and using the templates

### "One of tools I would not hesitate to recommend. "

Perfect product, priced exactly as it should be.

Pros

Notions acts as a backbone of your team in a term of article storage and discussion place. You see, it is very easy to say "a lot of systems offer article and document storage" but in reality most of them lack clean representation, simple but working hierarchy, sound way to discuss the document, comment it, and notify about the changes. More, notions allows you to attach arbitrary files and images to the document. You may even expose some pages of notion as a part of your website and they do look organic! Tables, icons, images, backrounds, labels - it is all there. Right you may name a lot of similar systems, but there is an distinctive thing about notions: it is concentrated on articles and information and it does that great! Notion offers very easy to learn, fast way to create document, similar to one you may find on Medium. We've tried a number of different approaches, including basecamp, confluence, slack, dropbox paper - notions is a clear winner. Notions does have native application for the both desktops and mobile systems. Notion may be integrated with a number of other products including Slack. You may even build your website using nothing else but notion itself. Notion requires just a bit of time to understand how much actually can be expressed with text, tables, checkboxes, labels, comments, images and files. This is revolution made using the set of a very simple things.

Cons

Here I am looking at 100min counter and having no idea what to write. The only thing what I am really scared of is that notion may attempt to change the focus and instead of master of articles become jack of all trades. Right now it is one of the rare products I use every day without any regrets.

We were looking for an information system and notion.so does exactly that. Mind, it does not offer anything else, for instance there is no chats per se, issue trackers, planners, video conferences. Neither it should. Open youtube and search for, say, "notion.so planing things" and you will find a set of videos that shows how little you actually need to make your team or yourself perform better.

### "Notion organizza il tuo futuro"

Pros

### "A super easy-to-use tool that lets you organize your work"

November 2, 2022

5.0

I've been using Notion to organize my personal projects, collaborate with team members on business tasks and launch my online portfolio. Overall, I'm very happy with the product and it's one my daily go-tos when it comes to task management and collaborative working,.

Pros

Notion UI is really clean and gives you an at-a-glance view of all your work. There is also a possibility to launch tasks to the web and in effect, create your very own website this way.

Cons

Loading times could be faster and it's a shame that 'page history' isn't a free feature.
