### "The ROI on Learning Notion is Immeasurable "

January 23, 2023

5.0

Awesome experience. Now my digital biz has real structure, organization and is customized to how I wanted my operations to be set up.

Pros

Freedom! Learning to use Notion has released me from the captivity of multiple software services and many-stepped business operations. I didn’t own a cell phone until I was 29 (that’s how old I am) so using apps and software services doesn’t come naturally - I had to sit and learn, watch YT vids, read alllll the help docs. But now I can pretty much build or integrate anything my company needs. I’m practically a software developer now. Plus, it’s inexpensive and can integrate w basically everything, if u don’t have time to make it yourself in Notion. They also have a great community and their company “vibe” is upbeat, motivational and encouraging - even for this “old” startup lady.

Cons

I have to teach each new employee how to use it and show new clients too - I’ve made video tutorials to help, but it’s always a time investment (which is worth it, eventually).

Reason for choosing Notion

1st of all, Kajabi is a pyramid scheme that I bought into and paid for for 12 months w/o really using - avoid at all costs. Clickup was confusing at first and you’re locked into their way of operating. Honeybook is for businesses that are unsophisticated and want to waste time and money setting up over and over.

### "'Notion', an excellent platform for executing agile and successful projects."

November 27, 2022

5.0

It is a very stable tool with a high degree of maturity and scalability, multi-platform and with support for successful execution, its screens are very well designed and all the necessary functions for collaborative work are well implemented.

Pros

One of the biggest attractions is its usability, since it has very well designed screens, so as not to lose focus on what is important and avoid getting lost in projects with a high number of tasks. Its filtering options are excellent for keeping us in the right direction and recognizing pending tasks in each of the projects in which we participate.

Cons

It is excellent for large work teams, so it is important to proactively plan how the projects will grow and organize the work areas correctly, in this way, we can achieve an environment with total visibility among the members of the work team.

### "Agile tool for monitoring projects"

May 19, 2023

4.0

We used Notion to manage our projects and tasks while working remotely. Some aspects of it, like two-way communication, are lacking, but it works fantastic for remote collaboration. With it, we were able to see, edit, and synchronise our progress and actions for each task. Overall, it's very easy to pick up, and works far better than most other tools for having a wide shot of how the business is moving forward

Pros

I think the biggest improvement Notion brings to the table is the simplistic, but highly effective interface. It's basically a far better version of Excel/Drive for us. The interface keeps everything very simple and easy to navigate, which is good for beginners, and is also scalable because you can easily segment elements to stop it from getting too crowded.

Cons

It's good for internal planning, but we tried to use it to show documents and briefs to some of our customers but it looks very very unprofessional from the customer's point of view. The simple interface taht makes it great for internal use is also what makes it plain for external stuff

### "Quick notes and task management"

January 27, 2022

5.0

Great piece of software we use for task management, notes tracking and project documentations. Constantly updating and adding features seems ok, since they make sense to us (as users). The graphical interface is easy to understand and very responsive. The benefits of repeatable/synced blocks pushed Notion to another level.

Pros

First I liked the speed of Notion and ease of handeling it. Turning items into other types of items is great when the structure of a document changes + moving these items around is ingenious and a timesaver. Plus templates, which are unfortunately a bit complicated to use.

Cons

The pricing a steep when working in a team. Luckily there are some workarounds and the limitations of a free tier are not too limiting.

Reason for choosing Notion

We liked the speed of the app and ease of use. There were limitations in the free tier, but they can be overcome. Also it is relatively new so users/teammates would response positively to it.

### "My review of Notion"

October 20, 2022

5.0

I haven’t been using it for very long, but so far I love it! The editing features are really nice and speediness of use is nice too. I really like the user interface.

Pros

If you are someone who needs to write down quick notes, or even recap a whole meeting, this is the program for you. Editing is super fast and you can even rearrange your notes in order of priority on the fly.

Cons

I haven’t found a true con to this program yet. I even liked the fact that I was able to sign in with my Google account so it linked up with that as well. Honestly, can’t ding the program on anything right now.

Switched from

[Goodnotes](https://www.capterra.com/p/233930/GoodNotes/)

The editing on Notion is by far better than on good notes. Wow, good notes is a really good program. I needed to make the switch because of the speeding this factor. I need to be able to edit on the fly.

### "An all-in-one tool to get organized and be more productive."

May 19, 2023

5.0

Notion is an all-in-one tool that can be used to organize and manage any type of information, from notes and to-do lists to projects and databases. The ability to customize the tool to my needs is a huge plus, as is the ability to collaborate in real time with other users.

Pros

What I like most about Notion is its ability to adapt to my needs and the way I work. The user interface is very intuitive and customizable, allowing me to organize my information the way I prefer. Another thing I like about Notion is its ability to be used as a database. This is especially useful for me, since I can create databases for projects, tasks, contacts, and whatever else I need. The ability to search, filter, and sort information efficiently and effectively is a huge plus for me, as I can quickly find what I need.

Cons

I would say the learning curve can be a bit steep at first. There are many functions and features in Notion, and it can take a while to figure out how to use them all effectively. Also, while the free version of Notion offers many useful features, there are some limitations in terms of storage and number of users that may be a problem for some individuals and businesses.

### "Notion Offers Everything on one place, bit is not the master of any."

June 12, 2023

Notion is great, works perfectly and does exactly what we expected. However we do find it easy to get things wrong. To hit a wrong button etc.

Pros

If you are looking for a single app to store information and notes. To manage and complete tasks. An app that gives you complete flexibility Notion is the best out there.

Cons

Notions high level functionality means it comes with a very large learning curve and some thing are not quick to implement.

### "The best way to store information and processes in your business"

November 27, 2022

5.0

Notion helps me manage large amounts of information and tasks that were previously stored and often forgotten in my brain. It has allowed me to free up brain space to be more creative within my business and save all the information and research that I do on a daily basis so that I can build my intellectual property and run my business.

Pros

Notion is the most powerful and customisable system available to save information, manage tasks and create processes. It can be as simple as a list of tasks or your can create a work of software art with colours, widgets and images. You can make Notion do what you want. Day-to-day I use Notion to manage my tasks but it's become a central hub of my business, storing my SOPs (standards operating procedures) research for my book and so much more

Cons

It takes a little while to make Notion work the way that you want but if you don't have time or the inclination to design your own solution, there are thousands of templates available to support you in setting up Notion to suit your needs.

### "Notion Review"

June 17, 2023

\\Notion is a digital platform/app that works as calendar, documents creation, tasks management tool, etc. You can use it to organise every type of content, to take notes, to write business plans, and the best part is that you have a lot of free templates to start from, there's no need to start from scratch. and you can also synchronise it with other tools.

Pros

Notion is an all in one product, you don't need to access to another tools in order to run your business (admin wise).

Cons

The fact that it's a bit limited regarding images content.

### "Amazing tool for project management, task scheduling and storing information!"

October 20, 2022

5.0

With notion, I tackle so many things business and personal related. From having customer's projects in one place and share/collaborate with them, to having my personal notes, to-do and other sort of lists, brain dump, etc. I think it's an awesome tool for anyone really! Either if you are a business owner or if you are simply organised and want to have everything in one place.

Pros

It's flexibility, user friendly environment and the whole amount of things you can do with Notion. Apart from Project planning, scheduling tasks, prioritizing, etc, you can have your personal notes, brain dump with your project ideas, customer's projects, etc all in one place and accessible from your smart phone. It's very visual, minimalistic and everything happens on a web-based environment, like very simple websites that you can actually share with people by using it's public URL if desired to share on the internet.

Cons

I know you are constantly innovating and there are professional Notion coders on the market, although one of the things I missed sometimes is an easy way to allow people upload and share files. By now, I do it by sharing a GDrive link which also works very well.

### "after using notion for 6 months"

April 14, 2023

4.0

I personally started using notion when I was looking for other jobs. it was very useful and easy to track all of my application's status such as company name, positions, applied date, job description, when to follow-up, salary and location of the company etc. I really love that I can customise my own categorise and put my information.

Pros

It is very useful to manage and track projects you are working on. I normally just wrote my to do list on the paper and kept forgetting about it, but ever since I used notion I can easily see customise all the small details, which is very useful.

Cons

I can not find any cons yet while using it. I am also using notion app with my phone, however it is much easier to use on the computer. And also, even though Notion says it is extremely safe and encrypts my data, I still prefer to save my personal data in my computer.

### "One of the best multi-purpose project management software you can use."

August 6, 2021

5.0

I often use Notion as my hardware venture. I collect and prepare the contracts we will make on Notion. I create Wikis on Notion to inform the client. I also use Notion to avoid confusion in my side projects because sometimes I forget what I'm doing and what I'm going to do. Thanks to the themes it offers, I can create pages in a very flexible way. On the other hand, I use Notion for personal time management, meeting notes, etc., without the need for a different application. This works great because I don't like using too many apps. Overall I am very satisfied with Notion. I definitely recommend it.

Pros

First of all, it's great to be able to use Notion for so many different purposes. For example, I use Notion for project management in my professional business. Because it offers many different features completely free of charge. I can share directly with my colleagues and perform simultaneous file editing. There are many different free themes. We can also use these themes by customizing, if we want, we don't even need to customize them because they are really good. On the other hand, when you have many side projects, you want to get rid of clutter. I think this is one of the best apps you can do. Because it gives you the opportunity to add pages easily, customize the theme and add many features to your page quickly. You can also use it for your personal business. For example, I helped my girlfriend prepare a timetable on Notion for 6 months during the exam period and we really benefited from it. When we collect all these, we see again what a good application it actually is. Thank you Notion team. To summarize, having regular pages, integration with many different plugins, very flexible and feature-rich plugins, having various themes (really good themes) and being able to create your own themes are very good features.

Cons

Frankly, the only feature I don't like on Notion is that sometimes we need to download files. For example, we prepare the project contract very well over Notion, but since it will be an official document, it must be of the specified type. But the pages that look great on Notion may not be so good when downloaded. Sometimes (I'm an iPhone SE2 user) the pages I navigate in the mobile application can be deleted. It is not possible to repeat projects in areas such as metro. I would like this fixed, maybe I'm the problem. I'm still having a download problem. This problem is in the tables. I would like the tables to be downloaded directly in Excel format.

### "My virtual diary of three years"

May 26, 2023

5.0

I first started using Notion about seven months into the COVID pandemic. During that time, I could not express my thoughts comfortably to others, let alone feel heard by them, whether it be my family, friends, or even strangers in y virtual communities. Notion became my private space (albeit maybe FBI agents are reading this right now or they have read my entries within the past few years, but it's whatever, tbh) -- the point is, Notion was a space for me to express my thoughts without judgment from anyone. I could type out all my ideas freely, organize them, and it became my therapy. It helped me a lot with self-reflection and awareness -- it was healing. It became a part of pretty much a daily routine for me. With the AI feature, I feel that Notion has become even more therapeutic because of its ability to elaborate on my present and past journal entries. Sometimes Notion AI will summarize my entries for me in the third person and add a little positive spin or a resolution to a thought that I never came to on my own before, and it can sometimes be mind-blowing. Using AI to create stories, songs, poems, etc., from the context of my journal entries is also really fun. Notion AI is able to create art from my experiences without me doing too much. I've enjoyed Notion overall, and it has been a perfect space for me to stimulate and execute my thought process and independent self-expression. I also utilized Notion to help me stay organized in university, and now beyond.

Pros

I love Notion's organizational features that make it easy to sort out my ideas in a way that makes sense visually, e.g., drag-able blocks, toggle blocks, different heading styles, font colors, different table views for dated journal entries, etc. Adding onto that - since I've been using Notion to journal my thoughts for the past three years, I've enjoyed utilizing the search feature to compare my personal journal entries across those years. Pinpointing the exact life phases that I was in precisely 365 days ago and 730 days ago makes me feel like I'm mentally time-traveling.

Cons

I honestly can't think of anything that I would strongly dislike. I have not had any significant problems with Notion, although sometimes, on the mobile app, it would take a while for my entries to load because I have so many. Another thing I've run into within the mobile app is that when searching for specific keywords in entries within particular timeframes, I cannot go back and view a result upon viewing a different result. My place in the results gets lost, but all I have to do is scroll or re-apply my filters/timeframe/re-enter the keywords I had. Again, it's not a huge issue, and usually, my alternative is to utilize the search feature on the browser instead. Aside from that, I hope that someday the AI feature will become more commonly used and integrated within Notion's free components. I guess another thing lastly that I know many others have wanted is offline accessibility for Notion, although I'm rarely in a situation that calls for it. If I am, my alternative to that is just typing in my generic notes app, and copying and pasting it into Notion later on.

### "Organización personalizable"

June 3, 2023

5.0

Pros

### "Notion Use for Task & Project Breakdown and Knowledge Management & Tracking"

May 27, 2022

I really enjoy Notion and it has helped me organize and structure my work in a meaningful way.

Pros

Notion is extremely flexible and I love the ability to customize it to make the pages feel personalized. It allows both my creative energy and productivity efforts to work together seamlessly.

Cons

As organized as I feel my content is when I put it into Notion, I believe there are gaps in getting to more of a "cross-matrix" type connection within my content.

### "Notion Review"

February 11, 2023

5.0

My first acquaintance with Notion was in the context of work, I thought it would be complicated in one way or another, but what reassured me was that the administrator said to me: "You only need a few minutes to understand the nature of Notion!" After that, I started getting to know Notion for the first time, and it was a good acquaintance. The first days when I thought that my use of Notion would never go outside the framework of work, and the Notion interface confirms this to me, and what is the benefit of using it in the presence of personal notebooks and applications for daily tasks? I imagined that..I had understood the nature of the application and dealt with it already in the first minutes, as the administrator mentioned to me, but my passion led me to search more in the depths of Notion; Then it was the turn of YouTube, and I searched for it inside the red platform, and I was amazed at the number of experiences that I saw in it! All of those know Noshin while I had no knowledge of him until that day?! It was confirmed to me that there are other worlds in this internet, although they are accessible to everyone, but we need someone to guide us to them.. This may be the most important aspect that has been confirmed to me.And I realized after using it that it is indispensable for work teams, volunteers, and every group of people who have common goals and are already working towards achieving them.

Pros

Notion is a great productivity tool, and although it is very popular in the business field, it is also suitable for use in household chores and tasks, or even for planning your personal goals. I would like to point out at the beginning that you can use Notion from the regular browser, whether on the mobile phone or on computers and laptops, and if you prefer applications, as I already mentioned, there is an application for it on the platforms.

Cons

It needs time in the beginning to understand how it works

### "Un super outil "all in one""

October 3, 2022

5.0

### "The best app for documents and management."

November 28, 2022

5.0

Overall it's an almost perfect app/webiste. The unlimited space and folders let's you be as creative as you want, creating the possibility of having everything organized.

Pros

There's no app like Notion, the unlimited amount of storage and folders let us get really creative. It can be used with a ton of different apps and websites as they'll let you implement them into your own page, like google maps, docs, etc. It's also available in every system giving the possibility of being my main app in the daily basis.

Cons

There's not much customization inside the pages it self, there's no way to change font or size, which can be difficult to read for some due to it's small size. There's also some bug still to be fixed like the spell check and big loading times occasionally.

### "Notion review"

January 10, 2023

5.0

Notion is an incredibly versatile productivity app that offers great flexibility for organizing information. It allows creating pages and blocks to organize notes, tasks, projects and databases in a personalized way. Collaboration tools are also very useful for working with others. On the downside, there are some loading delays and editing features that could be improved. Overall, Notion is a very useful app for organizing work and personal life.

Pros

I have been using Notion for several months now to manage my digital workspace and I am truly impressed by all the features it offers. The flexibility of the app is truly amazing, it allows me to create pages and blocks to organize my notes, tasks, projects, and databases in a very intuitive way.Customization is also very easy, I really appreciate the ability to create pages and blocks that suit me best. Additionally, Notion's collaboration tools are very useful, I can share pages and blocks with my colleagues and we can work together in real-time.Real-time synchronization is also a strong point, it allows me to continue working on my projects even when I'm on the move, which is very convenient. Notion also allows to integrate with other popular tools such as Google Drive, Trello, Slack, Evernote, GitHub, this enhance even more its use.In summary, I highly recommend Notion for anyone looking for a powerful, flexible, and customizable personal and professional productivity app. It is easy to use, offers many features, and its collaboration tools make it an excellent choice for teams.

Cons

After using Notion for a few months, I have noticed a few aspects that could be improved.1. Learning curve: There is a learning curve to understand how to use all the features of Notion. There are a lot of things to discover, so it can take some time to understand all the features and how to use them effectively.2. Loading time: Sometimes, there can be delays when accessing certain pages or blocks, especially if you have a lot of content in your workspace.3. Editing limitations: Some editing features, such as text formatting, could be improved to offer more options for users.4. Cost: If you need to use certain advanced features, such as real-time collaboration or the ability to upload files, there may be additional costs for users.Despite these few negative points, I am very satisfied with Notion overall. It offers so many features to efficiently organize my workspace and the collaboration tools allow me to work effectively with my colleagues.

It is more than a note application for me, which reflects its plus features very well, which I use to solve many problems. I use it for both team and project management. It's a great app, I wish it was a little cheaper :(

Pros

### ""Notion makes the transition from unpolished notes to polished documents quick and efficient!""

November 18, 2022

5.0

Overall and crucially, Notion makes it simple for team members who identify as "non-technical" to participate from various departments. It hasn't caused a stir way other "unintuitive" gadgets with a steep learning curve have. The backup option is comforting; it's not something you consider before you sign up, but you'll need it later if your data is even tangentially important to you.Support has typically been quite beneficial to me and my numerous questions throughout the years. Sometimes they'll confuse things by requesting extra information on a simple, obvious issue, but I know they're only doing it to find out more. Right, it's better to err on the side of overcommunication:

Pros

I was introduced to Notion by a coworker, and ever since I edited that tiny seedling of a first page, I've used it frequently, grown, and even produced the literary equivalent of several novels in it. It has combined aspects I've used in other programmes and improved on them greatly. In the past, I used to become annoyed at how badly my formatting was messed up by Google Docs, Zendesk, and other services. I could essentially clear up the debris by copying and pasting it into Notion. Additionally, a page supports live editing, thus there is no separate "publish" phase! (If necessary, you can always perform a "staging/test" on a different page.) Additionally, it's very simple to target shares or make pages public.Project management for task tracking (through card columns), thorough user documentation (and the process of translating it from internal external consumption), and concept presentation are some of the business uses of Notion that I have. At home, my wife and I also used it to draught and revise our wedding vows, document items in need of repair, and other things. In other words, there were moments when I was interacting with another tool before going — "Why, Notion is capable of that already! Use Notion only!" Keeping track of my musical productions with Notion is one of my favourite uses. I serialize them with annotations so I can see what's almost finished, what has to be delivered, and what I might just be messing about with.

Cons

I wish we could add more bespoke styling. I'm not talking insane custom colours, but solid background colours and text with precise RGB values would make a huge impact with matching branding. Though having everything integrated seems really basic, I am aware that there are third-party applications that seek to cover these demands and things like custom domain names.Additionally, as of my most recent check, there was no way to view the original IFRAMES code, which seems incredibly cumbersome because it requires me to store that code elsewhere (perhaps in a separate Notion page) or risk it being obscured. Anyone using widgets with special embed parameters, such as those from Bandcamp and SoundCloud, should be aware of this. But overall, Notion has been fantastic!

### "easy to start difficult to do everything"

January 31, 2022

4.0

I've fixed my dispersion problem between numerous apps since I started using it; currently, I manage both my personal and professional lives in one app. A central hub for meeting notes, to-do lists, managing my own project, academic writing, and scheduling.

Pros

There are two upsides. It uses Zapier and IFTTT to connect to almost any service or software, allowing it to automate almost anything. A toolbox for creating your own program is still a tool that can do anything, including note keeping, task lists, web page bookmarks, Zettelkasten method sheets, and even KPIs. Not only does it adapt to ant process, but it also allows you to construct workflows that would be hard to achieve with any other application or service.

Cons

The more potential an app has, the more difficult it is to understand this software, and Notion is excess, even comically overpowering. It is feasible to create a progress meter for each article topic I read. During my learning journey, however, I noticed that instead of saving time, I was wasting it and becoming less productive.
