### "Handy tool for your small business"

July 11, 2022

4.0

Overall, we are loving it. We are a team of nearly 25 people sitting in India and Japan, with Notion, we are efficiently managing our projects/tasks.

Pros

I like the easiness of the tool along with its deployment among the departments or projects. I loved the level of customization it provides so that team can customize the Notion as per their requirements.

Cons

Sometimes it doesn't allow us to do specific customization or modification so we need to compromise with their existing formats.

### "The Ultimate Task and Project Management Tool For Individuals & Freelancers"

October 18, 2022

5.0

Notion has become a part of my everyday life. It's helped me with getting stuff done by prioritizing tasks that need to be done. Im no longer struggling with all the thoughts in my head about what I need to do and what needs to be done first. This is the ultimate project management and task tracking tool on the market and the best part is how flexible it is to get it how you want. Not a lot of other tools have the customization.

Pros

Customization and simplicity within Notion is next level. Having been on the search for something that combines an easy to use and filter Task list in combination with Project Management tools seemed to be harder then I thought. Once landed and comfortable with Notion I won't look back. The user interface is easy and the mobile app makes it easy to add tasks and notes so time management and task tracking is easy.

Cons

The learning curve at the start was a little challenging but there are some great tutorials on their website that helped understand how easy it is once you get the hang of it. The only other gripe was recurring tasks need some work around with third parties but a tutorial to accomplish this is on their website and was super easy to implement.

Found Notion more in depth and the UX more friendly. The ability to customize on a per project/client basis within Notion was the biggest reason. Now I can integrate reports, links, notes, tasks etc with a couple clicks.

### "Notion is an incredible planning software"

September 26, 2022

5.0

Notion saved my life. I used to have tens of ideas and thoughts all at once. I was overwhelmed by my daily tasks, projects, things I wanted to do. But when I started to use Notion, I only had to plan once a week or once a month and track my progress. I don't think about what I'm about to do next because I know it's on Notion. It changes your life.

Pros

I like everything about Notion. I'm still an intermediate user and I've discovered many interesting features to use. Creating lists, databases, pages and organize them is incredible. It's also a very flexible software, you can track simple stuff or have an entire life operating system in there.

Cons

Nothing, Notion is gold. Perhaps is not super intuitive at first but you'll get used to it.

### "Looking for a easy to use project management software"

November 25, 2022

4.0

I like that it's looks like the whiteboards in college that you use markers to write with.

Pros

Since I come from to using Taskade, Trello and Microsoftware Project, I wanted something similar to use but easy to learn. Really do not want to spend days learning how to use something that I need for important projects. Learning notion only took me a full day to understand the basic thing that I need for my daily tasks.

Cons

Could have more specific templates to use but you can built the templates any way you like depending on your needs.

Reason for choosing Notion

A friend was talking about and then I went to search for some videos on YouTube to see what the software can be used for.

### "A Comprehensive Productivity and Organizational Tool for Individuals and Teams"

December 20, 2022

5.0

Overall, Notion is a comprehensive and flexible productivity and organizational tool that can be very useful for students and professionals alike. While it does have a few limitations, it is well worth considering for anyone looking to improve their productivity and organization.

Pros

Notion is a comprehensive productivity and organizational tool that is gaining popularity among students and professionals alike. As someone who has used Notion extensively, I can speak to the many pros and a few cons of this platform. One of the standout features of Notion is its flexibility and versatility. It can be used as a note-taking app, task manager, project management tool, and much more. It also offers a wide range of formatting options and the ability to insert images and other media into notes, which can be very useful for students and professionals alike. Notion also offers excellent cross-platform support, with apps available for all major desktop and mobile operating systems.Another key advantage of Notion is its robust search function, which makes it easy to find specific notes or information within your notebooks. This can be especially helpful for users with large collections of notes or those who need to frequently reference past notes. Notion also offers robust collaboration features, including the ability to share notes and notebooks with others and work on them together in real-time.

Cons

One issue is that the free version of Notion is somewhat limited in terms of features and storage space. Users who want access to all of the platform's features and a larger storage allotment will need to upgrade to a paid subscription. Additionally, Notion's interface can be somewhat cluttered and overwhelming for some users, which can make it more difficult to navigate and use. Finally, some users have reported performance issues with the Notion app on certain devices, which can be frustrating.

### "Your online highly-customisable organiser"

July 4, 2023

5.0

It's been a good eperience using Notion. I would recommend it to other future users and encourage my team to take it on board.

Pros

The fact that everything is customisable and personalised to you and your liking. Most tools similar to Notion expect you to use their standard designs and you're quite limited with options to adjust them. With Notion, you can basically set it up how you want.

Cons

Sometimes, it can be quite difficult navigating around the platform. It's not too amazingly intuitive and I suppose some training modules or guided training messages would help in this instance.

5.0

Overall it’s the best tool I have ever used , it has honestly change my life now when I look back I can literally see how much time I was wasting before although I do waste now as well 😅😂 but still it’s much less comparatively

Pros

I like m most of the features but the most important feature I can’t imagine using Notion without it would be the NotionAI as it makes it so simpler and easier to do all sort of my stuff from University assessments to coding to task management to database management to empty my mind so I can Lear more new things

Cons

The one thing I don’t like about notion is not having the ability to change the background of the page although it doesn’t matters much it would be great to give it an extra personal touch 😅

### "All-in-one note taking/collaboration App"

September 5, 2022

5.0

Very powerful app which I use every single day. I will totally recommend everyone to use it as a second brain, note-taking or a workspace for your team.

Pros

The collaboration ability Notion provides is so powerful that no other apps can compare with it. Also the board view feature on this app is a game-changer for your work-flow. It is also cross-platform so I can access my workspace on all of my devices.

Cons

If you have a really big database in Notion, the loading time will be slow. It is pretty hard to learn at the beginning, if you just started, sometimes it gets overwhelming.

### "Review of Notion"

February 22, 2023

5.0

Pros

Notion is a popular all-in-one productivity tool that has gained popularity for its flexibility and versatility. Here are some of the pros of using Notion:Customizability: Notion is a highly customizable tool that can be tailored to fit the unique needs of individuals or teams. You can create and organize pages, databases, and tasks in various formats, including tables, lists, boards, and calendars, among others.Collaboration: Notion makes it easy to collaborate with others by allowing you to share pages and databases with others, comment on specific elements, and assign tasks to team members.Centralized Information: Notion allows you to keep all your information in one place. You can store your notes, tasks, calendars, documents, and more in a single location, making it easier to access and manage your work.Integration with other tools: Notion integrates with many other productivity tools, such as Google Drive, Trello, and Slack, allowing you to streamline your workflow and reduce the need to switch between different tools.Accessibility: Notion is available on multiple platforms, including desktop, mobile, and web. This means you can access your work from anywhere, at any time, and on any device.Cost-effective: Notion offers a free plan that includes many essential features, including unlimited pages and access to all basic blocks. For more advanced features, the paid plans are very affordable.

Cons

While Notion is a versatile and powerful productivity tool, it's not without its limitations. Here are some of the cons of using Notion:Steep learning curve: Notion has a lot of features and capabilities, which can be overwhelming for new users. It can take some time to learn how to use the tool effectively, and there is a learning curve involved.Performance issues: Notion can be slow to load, especially when working with large databases or pages with many elements. This can be frustrating and may slow down your workflow.Limited formatting options: While Notion is highly customizable, it does have some limitations when it comes to formatting options. Some users find the formatting options to be insufficient or not as flexible as other productivity tools.Limited mobile functionality: While Notion is available on mobile devices, the mobile app has some limitations compared to the desktop version. Some features may not be available on mobile, and the interface can be harder to use on smaller screens.Privacy concerns: Notion stores your data on its servers, which may raise privacy concerns for some users. While Notion has implemented strong security measures to protect your data, some users may prefer to keep their data on their local machines.

### "My favorite ideas, projects and personal things managment in a free manner"

December 13, 2021

5.0

It's awesome, nearly can sketch, plan and manage anything in it cause of its customization. Secondly, it has really easy and simple design.

Pros

The super customization and wide limitation to be in a paid plan, that really offers useful things and also make users grateful to Notion so they want to go paid plan to support Notion and the additional features.

Cons

There is no offline access until now and Arabic Left-to-Right is not supported too. If you need those 2 features mainly have to work around it to work like installing a chrome extension for Notion's website to support LTR Arabic.

### "My take on Notion: Pros, Cons, and Overall Experience"

December 30, 2022

5.0

I've found Notion to be a powerful and flexible platform that has greatly improved my productivity as a solopreneur.

Pros

As a solopreneur, I have been using Notion for the past year, and my experience with the platform has been mostly positive. One of the standout features for me has been the ability to create and customize pages and databases to fit my specific needs. This has been helpful in organizing and managing my work, as well as tracking the progress of my projects.Another key feature that I've appreciated is the integration with a wide range of other tools and platforms. Notion integrates with a variety of other productivity and collaboration tools, which has made it much easier for me to manage my work.

Cons

For one, the free plan is a little limited in terms of the number of pages and databases you can create and the amount of storage you have. I need to manage a decent amount of data, so this can be a bit of a bummer. The platform can also be a little complex to set up and use, especially if you're new to project management software. There are a ton of features and it can take a while to learn how to use them effectively. And lastly, the price. Notion is a premium product and it can get pricey compared to other project management tools. As a solopreneur, I gotta be mindful of my budget and the cost of Notion can be a bit of a strain.

### "Notion - Note Taker Tool"

May 19, 2022

5.0

Pros

What I like the most about Notion is that it provides the user with so many ways to create their notes. For example, you can create a table of notes that will be expanded if you select an individual note. You can also create a gallery of notes that have pictures. There are also other ways to categorize your notes besides just placing them in a separate page such as creating new tags and attributes and associating the card with those tags. Notion is an amazing tool for those who have had a difficult time using paper notes.

Cons

Notion can be difficult to use at first. It has a steep learning curve because there are so many different ways to do one thing. They have some templates you can use, but not all of them are free. It took me awhile to get the grasp of using Notion, but once I was able to understand the tools, it has been an amazing experience for me.

### "Reliable and powerful software for all sorts of work that involves writing!"

April 1, 2023

4.0

I have been using Notion for a long time as my primary tool for taking notes, and it has all the features I need to write, organize, and maintain my work. So far, it has worked well for me!

Pros

A lot of things - 1. My current favorite feature is Notion AI which lets me brainstrom on anything I'm working. It cuts a lot of distraction because a good portion of information can be retrieved through the AI within a few seconds. All I have to do is press "space bar" and ask questions. That's it.2. One of the few reasons I use Notion is that it has very clean and minimal interface. Nothing is cluttered and everything feels easy on the eyes. It makes the whole writing experience smooth.3. Notion templates are time-saving. I haven't created one template of my own, everything I need is already available in the gallery.4. Importing and exporting notes is easy and straightforward. It takes one click to view analytics and complete history of the place with detailed information. All these things make the whole user experience very seamless. Everything's presented right in front of you so there isn't much time spent finding certain things when you're taking notes.

Cons

A few things -1. Searching for notes is still laggy. It works fine if you have a few notes, but I have a lots of pages on notion and whenever I try to find something specific, I get to see the performance issue in terms of speed.2. It needs more keybindings especially in the codeblocks section.3. It'd be nice if they also had an official desktop application (with offline-mode feature) for Linux based distributions.

### "In love with Notion & excited for more future features!"

May 11, 2023

I've put a lot of work into my notion to set it up for task management & note taking in all aspects of my freelance life and absolutely love working with it! It has become my second brain

Pros

What I love most about Notion, is the way it's structured - it allows for much more freedom in creating an organisation that works for the user rather than being forced into a linear structure.

Cons

I've personally found contacting their customer service frustrating. To this day I've never heard back from the emails/contact forms I sent through their site - the only way I heard back from someone was via their twitter DMs but also that took weeks for them to reply

### "The ultimate knowledge sharing tool"

August 21, 2020

5.0

I tried Notion first with it came out. I did not made the switch from Evernote, my personal "knowledge base" at the time. Then I gave it a second chance after seeing it being used by productivity experts and was actually amazed. My personal workflows changed from day one. I could not stop thinking into turning more parts of my life into ordered processes. I dumped my yearly account on Evernote right away. Then I pushed it to be used in my new founded company. We managed to organize ALL the company inside Notion. I continue to be impressed

Pros

The product is just right. They got it at a somewhat unexpectedly hard problem: note taking is not about note taking, but about mental models and processes. They got it right. They added the features those app needed, to replace whole tools categories such as project management and tracking, knowledge databases ... even no-code public site drafting! The care they put into the product is amazing, full of details. The community and templates, amazing. UX is great from onboarding.

Cons

There are some missing features. Mainly, an API to boost integrations; that will be great. Also, databases, formulas, relations ... need a few second-level yet-important features. All that is in the roadmap, so I'm happy to wait.

Switched from

We needed a central hub of information and notion helped us create that. The company felt very transparent and I was able to keep myself informed with what others were doing in the company.

Pros

Notion’s AI writing assistant has saved me a lot of time on writing customer service emails. I just started my new job and I was having trouble with my anxiety relating to my grammar skills and language. ### "Great DIY project management app, or notetaking app"

June 17, 2023

5.0

Great experience and it is easy to introduce this app to your team. You just need to spend some time finding/setting up a good template/dashboard for your team to use.

Pros

Amazing way to customise your project management, its easy to use, anyone can learn to use it on few days. There's tonnes of tutorials out there to get you speed up and running. Tonnes of templates for you to buy and deploy to your workspace. Its amazing.

Cons

Getting further customisation requires some understanding of the formula, which can be quite confusing. Lack of native things like graphs, forms, and some simple things like progress tracking must also be set up manually. The free templates are very basic. ### "An all-in-one tool for your documentation needs"

September 19, 2022

5.0

My overall experience with Notion has been very positive. I use Notion all the time when I'm researching & taking notes. It helps in organizing a lot of useful information that I find online so I can revisit it later.

Pros

Notion is a very handy tool that can fulfill multiple needs of a business such as documentation, knowledge base, project management, task tracking, roadmap planning & tracking, etc. It has a range of built-in templates which cater to almost every common use case. It is super easy to get up and running with Notion. The host of widgets helps you organize all types of information such as tables, databases, embeds, calendars, etc. We haven't come across a use case that couldn't be fulfilled with Notion and they're constantly improving!

Cons

When compared to traditional task management tools such as Jira, I think Notion lacks in terms of integrations & notifications. Jira can easily be integrated with Slack for notifications on your tasks and that comes in very handy. Notion also doesn't have tools to provide you with stats & insights. Jira provides with you burndown charts, capacity bar charts, planning boards to help you easily manage sprints & track productivity.

### "Best workflow management tool out there"

December 6, 2022

5.0

I can not recommend this software enough, there is a small learning curve, but once you master the platform, it will be gamechanging.

Pros

This software is a combination of Evernote, Excel, and PowerPoint. While I believe the team initially developed the software as a sophisticated workflow management tool, it has evolved into so much more, it is nothing short of a CRM tool that can be used in any business in any industry. The robust nature of it's features and the ease at which you can mould your workspace to suit your needs or business is beyond anything any other software has been able to develop.

Cons

There isn't necessarily an effective forum set-up for the Notion team to interact with its super users to gain feedback from them on what works and what doesn't, what future features could be extremely beneficial and understand how the software is used differently depending on the industry.

### "Uso do Notion para organização de demandas"

September 19, 2022

5.0

### "Getting organized has never been easier"

February 23, 2023

5.0

From planning travel itineraries to tracking projects and KPIs, I use Notion for everything. The tool is so easy to use and is priced very reasonably, especially if you plan on working and collaborating amongst teams. Notion is also very responsive to its user's needs and is constantly improving its functionality.

Pros

Notion's templates make it easy for anyone to get started, no matter how much experience you have with SaaS tools. The diverse functionality of the platform makes Notion a great resource for anyone who is eager to organize information at a very low cost.

Cons

Sometimes, the formatting of Notion's templates, databases, and pages can get tricky. Fortunately, Notion has very strong resource guides and communities that can easily answer any of the questions you have.
