Also working collaboratively with your team makes it very efficient and effective when it comes to planning projects and then executing them. And finally, the features that give free users, is for me superior to what Todoist offers, as it gives you more freedom and lets you do more projects than Todoist, for that and one or another feature, makes Notion better. Pros The versatility that Notion offers you, being able to customize every aspect of the projects, to-dos, and tasks you write down within the software is unique, as you can integrate several functions within the page you create when setting up your notes and everything else. You can use it for anything from taking important notes from your history class to jotting down reminders for dinner at night. In short, you can do so many things that you are the one who sets it up. Cons It may be that the concept that Notion has is that it is established as a programming program, the fact of creating tasks, pending, and so on is listed as if you were programming and that is something that many people do not find so easy to get familiar with the product, it also has a style similar to discord that also at first you do not understand much the handling between menus, etc. But you have at the beginning a simple tutorial that helps you to locate the most essential of the app. Review Source Monika W. If you're using it with a team it can be a great place to build up internal knowledge bases- but the trick is keeping it updated and making sure that what you're building is something an average Joe can navigate. Pros It's very flexible: you can have a Roadmap to track all the tasks, those tasks are also new pages that can contain the full information of the tasks, comments, tracing, etc; all your documentation very well organized and accesible; other documents embebed so you can organize them and explain (figma designs, excels calculations, YouTube videos, drive files, GitHub PRs, Loom recordings). You can use it for whatever you need to remember, as a place to check out things, and too easily to find info. Cons The "worst" thing I would say is that letters cannot be customized, but at least for my is not a big deal. As a data-driven individual, I am always thinking about how what I do relates to each other. Information isn't siloed into folders or hierarchies and thus becomes more functional. Outside of work collaboration, Notion is my go-to for personal organization. Though intuitive to me as someone who works with and manages databases, I understand that it's not as easy to get up and going.
