I use it for anything I can think of. School, work, everyday things... Pros It is very easy to use for basic stuff, for the more advanced you need a little time to figure it out but it's really worth it when you do. I use it to keep track of my subjects in college and for my work stuff. If you are not familiar with it you have so many templates you can use. Cons I consider that for the moment the language and support issue plays a disadvantage for Spanish speakers. But I understand that they are already working on this issue and it will be solved. Good for any creative/ organiser Cons Notion can be a bit tricky to get the hang of, I love the new projects section but there are some usability issues that I think could be addressed. Pros I found this tool from the recommendation of some tech experts on youtube and was pleased to find how versatile this tool it. It has tools with which you can design your database in a multitude of different ways for different needs. I have my shopping list, reading list collection, bookmark links, social media hashtags all organized in different database designs inside Notion. Notion gives you to share the content publicly which you want to share, the viewer does not even need to log in. I have even seen people use Notion for sharing their lead magnets or making simple sales pages. I like that they have a mobile app because that is how I prefer using Notion, as it enables me to access and keep updating all my data in one place. Cons Their UI is beautiful to look t but less intuitive to use. I was only able to get a good hang of it by learning through some experts who have courses on how to use Notion on Youtube, otherwise, I would have been lost and would have probably stopped using Notion. Unlimited depth for nesting 7. Awesome views 8. If weaknesses are removed, it is really a revolutionary app for organizational use. All the modern concepts like building a second brain coming up and old ones like GTD can seamlessly be implemented using the Notion. Cons 1\. Not robust... hangs and breaks every now and then. 2. No widgets for android (This is a big hurdle.) 3. No tab system for easy navigation. 4. Can't connect with widely used services like Google and Microsoft calendar. 5. Expensive as a collaboration app 6. Restrictions on timeline view if used as a free version 7. Table view is not to the par. it looks weird 8. Can't set shortcuts for the Databases and view on home screen either on android or on windows. 9. No option to annotate the attached pdfs then and there. Can't search the pdfs either. 10. We're moved a ton of content from Google Docs, Dropbox, and our website over to Notion since it's so easy to customize and link to existing content, upload files, and embed images. Pros I absolutely LOVE Notion. At first, I was skeptical of adding another program to our mix, especially one that would take the place of using additional pages on our website. It's an incredibly valuable platform for quickly creating landing pages for external members that are easy to customize and keep updated. Cons My only complaint is that the website is sometimes down. Since we host so much content on the site, it can really throw a wrench it a workday if the site isn't working.
