Also, it is very helpful when you have to organize one place to work with your team. Cons It has a learning curve. At the beginning it can feel overwhelming and unstructured. It took me a long time to understand how to use it correctly. There's a bit of a learning curve process to go through at first since there are so many options available for customizing your dashboard, but after you get there, you'll be able to plan efficiently! I love that I can have shared dashboards with other team members as well as my own. Another plus is the fact that I can link external documents so that everything is in one place and has easy access. Pros There are so many things to love about this tool! You can build various dashboards, choose from different templates, and have broad customization available as well. I always use the reminder feature within tasks, and I can rely on those emails that are sent as reminders to keep up with the work. Cons Overall I'm very pleased with Notion. I would only comment on being able to have a larger view of a project's scope. As of now, you can either plan on a calendar monthly or daily, but you can't have a broader view altogether, and that would be useful for planning at a larger scale. New users will often get to a point where they can use it well enough but stop well short of harnessing all the features and power available. Pros The integration amongst teams as well as multipurpose functionality was fantastic. Truly an amazing addition to the team's toolkit that'll be used from launch to as far as we go. Literally a Type A girlie's dream. Was briefly introduced to it through my business developer as a client and now I can't live without it. Typically use the macOS app. Cons Front end aesthetics could be a little cuter but I do get that they're tapping into multiple audiences so something a bit more sterile works on all fronts. Pros Very easy to use for collaboration on projects between multiple teams or even within the teams. Use it mostly for documentation, task managements through tickets. Also the different components like flowcharts and ask AI that are present are really helpful. Cons It would have been great if there was a pop-up suggestion for the tools/features that can be used at some points when the user is populating a page. Pros I absolutely LOVE how customizable it is. We work with quite a few clients, and we can customize Notion for all of their businesses. Cons Even after you get the hang of it, Notion can still feel overwhelming at times. Though I love customization, there are lots of customization options and it can get confusing. There's a steep learning curve, so you'll need to do a lot of research to make things work. It took me a while to get used to Notion. I understand why young people like it, but I'm not sure what advantages it offers me compared to more traditional applications like Asana. Cons The few times that glitches occur and Notion will not work can be disastrous to daily productivity, as it would any time you rely too much on one single tool. I don't think you need any software experience to jump into using Notion, and the customer service team are very friendly. Pros Notion is completely customisable which means you can adapt it to just about any project, company or industry. I've found it to be very user-friendly too, so its a great option when I'm working with clients who aren't as tech-literate so I can manage our projects in a space that's easy for them to find their way around. Cons There aren't many things I dislike about Notion, but I think it lacks a familiarity and the design is a little unappealing. I prefer to project manage on the likes of Jira, Trello or Asana because the design is more typical to a project management software and its affirming; makes me ready to project-manage.
