Overall, Notion has been a powerful and highly adaptable workspace tool that successfully brings notes, project tracking, and document organization together. While it requires some initial setup time to master, its flexibility makes it an incredible asset for building personalized workflows and managing complex information efficiently.

Pros

Offers an exceptionally flexible, all-in-one workspace that lets you combine notes, tasks, databases, and wikis into a single custom layout. Provides powerful customization and templating options, allowing you to tailor pages precisely to your personal or professional workflow. Clean, minimalist interface that makes organizing complex projects and documentation visually appealing and structured.

Cons

Has a steep learning curve for new users due to the sheer depth of block-based customization and database features available. Can occasionally feel slow or laggy when handling massive databases or extensive pages filled with media and nested links.

Pros

In Notion I can make simple document page and download as a PDF. Also with Notion, it's possible to create a table for pages having same properties. That can be almost like Excel but with more features.

Cons

It's not easy for me to use some features like link databases and get more than one item. These functions are not explained well in Notion.

Notion is a useful tool for productivity, but it requires time to fully understand and use properly.

Pros

Notion is a flexible workspace that allows user to build their own productivity workflows meets their specific requirements. You can organize notes, tasks and data in one place.

Cons

The learning curve can be confusing at the beginning. Nothing is built on Notion, users have to create pages with elements by themselves, and choosing a template when you don't know how it works solves nothing at all.

Very much more than great! I recommend it even to many of my friends that now use also the app daily.

Pros

Throughout all my university period I used notion all the time, it's easy to use you can do a lot of things and take notes with it, I used it also to work with colleagues and the storage it holds it's also amazing. All the data were saved on my tablet, it helped me so much in those years.

Cons

I would expand it for other devices, but apart from that it's a good app to have on your tab (for example) it's totally recommended it for student and non.

Overall, it's a fine product. I don't think that I'm necessarily the person that would benefit the most from using it. I think people probably will either love it or hate it, and I'm just in the indifferent crowd.

Pros

I think that the document management and setup is very professional-looking and creates the ability to make a really nice-looking wiki. I also like that it's easy to use with multiple team members and collaborate on larger projects together. Also, in terms of value for money, it is not the most expensive platform out there, so definitely like that.

Cons

Some of the UI is just janky, for lack of better words. I just found that some of the ways that they do things just don't make a ton of sense. It was really ineffective for managing tasks and projects compared to a dedicated project management software. Ultimately, I ended up preferring to use it just for wiki and record keeping.

Reasons for choosing Notion

We initially thought that we could manage tasks out of Notion as well, but that ended up not being the case, and so we ended up moving to Asana as well.

I found the possibilities of Notion very exciting but the reality of using it felt too clunky, over-complicated and would require too much learning for the sorts of tasks we want to use it for. It’s not a simple and intuitive interface and I was spending more time trying to figure out how to do simple things on Notion than I wanted to. Overall it just didn’t feel like a very efficient piece of software to use.

Pros

Notion ticks a lot of boxes in terms of its capabilities. I like that there are various templates available to use and edit straight away.

Cons

I found Notion to be overly complicated even for simple things. It is also not the easiest software to use. This isn’t a drag and drop situation with a user friendly interface.

Overall, I've had a really good experience. Before using Notion, my notes, tasks, and documents were scattered across different apps, making it hard to stay organized. Now everything is in one place, so it's much easier to find information, keep track of work, and collaborate with my team. It has helped me stay organized and save time throughout the day.

Pros

What I like most about Notion is that it brings everything into one place. I use it for notes, task lists, meeting notes, and project planning, so I don't have to switch between different apps. It's flexible enough to organize things the way I want, and sharing pages with teammates is really easy. Once everything is set up, it saves a lot of time.

Cons

The biggest downside is that it can feel overwhelming when you're starting out because there are so many ways to organize your workspace. Sometimes pages with a lot of content take a little longer to load, and I wish offline access was more reliable. It also takes some trial and error before you find a setup that works well.

I've had a mostly positive experience with Notion, using it daily for note-taking, task management, and collaboration with my team. It's flexible and customizable, but sometimes feels cluttered and overwhelming, especially when working on complex projects, which prevents me from giving it a perfect score.

Pros

Notion's flexibility and customization options are a big plus for us. We've created a pretty solid knowledge base for our team, and it's really helped with onboarding new members. The drag-and-drop interface is also a major time-saver.

Cons

One minor annoyance is the lack of a built-in project timeline view. It took a bit to figure out how to get around this, and we ended up using a third-party integration to get the functionality we needed.

Pros

We use Notion as a company wiki, project manager, and database for all our video scripts and podcast outlines. Real-time collaboration is seamless, allowing me to annotate my writers' ideas instantly.

Cons

once our databases start accumulating hundreds of scripts and embedded media files, the app can suffer from lag
