### "Notion is great!"

May 16, 2025

5.0

We use Notion heavily at our company for our internal knowledge base. It's so useful to be able to link to everything and have databases.

Pros

I love everything about Notion! It's robust tools and features allow you to maximize your content.

Cons

I can't think of anything! Notion has a lot of features and keeps launching new features.

### "User friendly, customisable, great service "

October 15, 2025

4.0

I've been very happy Notion and would recommend it to people, especially those who aren't as software-literate and intimidated by project management tools like Jira. I don't think you need any software experience to jump into using Notion, and the customer service team are very friendly.

Pros

Notion is completely customisable which means you can adapt it to just about any project, company or industry. I've found it to be very user-friendly too, so its a great option when I'm working with clients who aren't as tech-literate so I can manage our projects in a space that's easy for them to find their way around.

Cons

There aren't many things I dislike about Notion, but I think it lacks a familiarity and the design is a little unappealing. I prefer to project manage on the likes of Jira, Trello or Asana because the design is more typical to a project management software and its affirming; makes me ready to project-manage. This is not really a fault of Notion's but it just stops it from becoming my go-to.

### "Great tool for easy to complex project management "

May 19, 2025

4.0

So far it’s been great- we use it for task management, project management and a central database for all of our docs.

Pros

That you can upload your docs and turn it into a pre-populated table, that quickly allows tasks, projects, etc to be sorted and assigned quickly.

Cons

It does take some time to learn it- the help section is a bit weak, found you tube or already created templates easier to learn from

### "Powerful and Highly Customizable"

December 22, 2024

5.0

Notion has been a game-changer from managing projects and organizing ideas. Its versatile and powerful but takes time to set up and learn effectively

Pros

The flexibility is incredible, you can customize it to fit almost any workflow, from task management to knowledge bases, all in one app.

Cons

It can be overwhelming for new users, and some advanced features feel hidden behind a learning curve, offline access could also be more reliable

### "Easy to use and intuitive, go for it!"

September 24, 2025

5.0

I have had a great experience using Notion as a team collaboration and class handling tool, I have contacted support with great results.

Pros

Notion is a great platform for managing your own tasks and as a project collaboration tool, I use it for teaching a training and it is great.

Cons

I don't find intuitive switch emails when you want to transfer your account to a different email, but it is not a common use case.

### "Notion is ease to use"

December 9, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Notion has been a very positive one. This software helps me stay organize and track many projects at once and it connects seemlessly to my calendar and etc.

Pros

Notion has an immaculate design and is highly customizable. Its open design concepts allow you to create and set up your tools in a layout that is based on your preferences and needs.

Cons

There is little that I dislike about Notion. If I have to name one, I would say that some of the templates available do have a cost associated with them.

### "Notion - The Platform of Great Customization"

March 21, 2025

5.0

Notion is a great product. Notion, by design gives you the freedom to create many custom systems for various business needs. Notion gives you the feeling that you are coding your own platform with a great scale of customizability. I have built an inventory system, a knowledge base, and many other custom systems with Notion.

Pros

I like that Notion is a blank slate that allows you to customize and meet whatever needs you have.

Cons

I don't like that Notion is an online-only platform.

### "The best (anything) management tool, but it's not perfect"

November 10, 2025

4.0

A lot of options to use for a variety of projects. I'm using Notion with different teams, and everyone has their workflows, but it's easy to adapt.

Pros

Notion is very common. Other teams likely use it, so collaboration is natural, and if the collaborators aren't on it, it's easy to learn.

Cons

It's clucky. Even though they clearly went for simplicity, the experience is not completely intuitive.

### "Notion makes your work and personal life just a little easier"

December 13, 2024

5.0

I started using Notion to keep track of various personal tasks but it has grown to encompass most of the administration of my work and personal to-do lists and projects. A superb experience.

Pros

I love the ability to combine notes, code, project management, wiki building and documentation under one interface.

Cons

### "notions review with respect to use of student"

December 8, 2024

4.0

Overall experience with Notion as a student has been very positive. It has been an essential tool for managing my busy academic and extracurricular life. From keeping track of my class schedule and assignments to tracking coding projects and planning for events like college fests, everything is kept in one place with Notion. I like the flexibility of using workflows. For instance, I created myself a personal dashboard with timetable, to-do lists, and deadlines. The feature of being able to link pages and work with templates makes organizing really easy and efficient. Calendar view as well as Kanban boards in general are very useful for visualizing overload and keeping everything under control. However, it had a steep learning curve at the start, and I had to take some time to figure out how to set this one to my specific needs. Moreover, it has terrible offline functionality sometimes. Overall, Notion has significantly improved my productivity, allowing me to balance academics, coding, and extracurriculars effectively. It's a powerful tool that I’d recommend to any student willing to explore its potential.

Pros

For someone like me, juggling coding projects, college schedules, assignments, and extracurriculars like attending fests, Notion has been a game-changer. All aspects of my student life can be streamlined efficiently using the all-in-one workspace provided by Notion. Notion is very flexible. I have created separate pages for my timetable, task management, and coding projects. Customizable templates made it easy to set up a weekly schedule or a Kanban board to track my project progress. The ability to link pages means that I can keep all relevant information—like assignment deadlines and project resources—just a click away. For event planning, like attending or organizing fests, Notion's calendar view is invaluable. It lets me track deadlines, add details of events, and even embed media like posters or schedules for easy reference. Its mobile app ensures I can access my tasks on the go, while the collaboration feature allows me to share notes or project updates with peers. The interface is sleek, and its drag-and-drop functionality makes organizing tasks almost fun. Notion has made a slight learning curve worth it for transforming my workload; it balances academics with coding and fun. It is a must-have for students!

Cons

The biggest challenge faced as a student in steep learning curve is that it is extremely flexible, but you actually have to get to know how to customize it for what you want, be it timetable management or tracking assignments-you find it really frustrating trying to get through features of it and understanding how you can set up an efficient system when you are managing pretty busy student life. Another drawback is its limited offline functionality. Not being able to access or update my notes or schedules without an internet connection can be inconvenient, especially during commutes or when Wi-Fi isn’t available. Besides, Notion sometimes lags and especially slows down when working with large databases or pages filled with content, which hinders the workflow of doing fast updates before a class or an event. Despite all that, once it is installed, Notion is such a powerful app and effort to make.

### "Notion vielseitig"

September 15, 2025

4.0

### "Notion supports the interconnected way my brain works"

April 9, 2025

4.0

I use Notion as a student and as a professional with two jobs; I use it as a personal workspace and not as part of any shared environment. It helps me stay organized by letting me link all my different notes/thoughts to other elements within Notion as well as on the internet. I can keep a reading list of articles and things that interest me, manage my personal to do list, plan trips, maintain a log of meeting notes, journal/brainstorm, craft a library database, and all kinds of things I haven't even discovered yet. It can be overwhelming to get started because there are so many options, but once you get the flow of things, you can really make it work for you.

Pros

I love the broad range of things you can do in Notion with even a free account, and I especially love the structure that lets me organize and connect things in lateral ways, which matches with the way my brain works.

Cons

I wish I had a little more freedom on the page as far as where I can click and create elements, similar to OneNote. The only other major drawback to Notion is that it does not currently integrate with my Outlook calendars.

### "Use AI to improve notes, agendas and general documentation "

January 11, 2026

4.0

Overall I am happy with it. I use the product to not only track meetings, agendas and thoughts, but the incorporation of artificial intelligence really gives me an advantage.

Pros

I am a new user of AI products. I like the way it organizes meeting notes, agendas and to-do lists. I can access it on my laptop and phone.

Cons

The initial adaptation was a bit of an adjustment, in terms of documentation in my preferred style. It took some deleting and adjusting to get into the proper format.

### "Subtly powerful tool"

January 6, 2026

5.0

It’s been very positive. Our team has really benefitted from using Notion for project management and collaboration.

Pros

It is designed well for collaboration and for customization within certain parameters. I like being able to describe what I need and have it recommend certain parameters I haven’t thought of (NotionAI) to organize projects.

Cons

I wish it were slightly more intuitive at times. It isn’t always clear how powerful of a tool it is if you don’t already know what you’re doing.

### "I use it for note taking and planning my life and study."

February 13, 2025

5.0

It is changing the way I organize my life. I used it to organize my wedding, logging everything from vendor contacts to the guest list, and it saved me untold hours. At work, it’s become my collaboration cockpit. An one-stop shop where I replace several tools like Trello and Evernote.

Pros

Notion allows me to build my own workspace that totally fits my needs. For example, I created a project management dashboard with linked databases, task trackers and meeting notes to help my team stay organized around a high-stakes product launch. On top of that, its ability to embed files, videos, and even other apps makes it extremely versatile.

Cons

Although it is powerful, but it can be overwhelming at first. It took me a couple of days to get validation of complex databases and relational properties down. There is also very limited offline functionality, which became a small headache on a flight where I had notes I wanted access to.

### "My go-to for work and personal stuff!"

May 9, 2025

5.0

I use it all the time and having an iphone app that ties in is really helpful on the move with work, and personal. I'd be a bit lost without it.

Pros

As a person with late diagnosis ADHD, I find this product unbelievably helpful. It helps me keep things together in one place - both for work and personal details - such as household documentation, health related documents, and just a great place to keep the stuff you forget!

Cons

Needs a few more training videos as the very basics seem to be swamped out by the wide range of things it can do! It took about three weeks to get my head around it - and I still don't think I'm using it to its full capacity.

### "Notion keeps our internal documentation tidy."

June 30, 2025

5.0

Instead of individual spreadsheets and docs everywhere, we now have a central billing wiki that’s easy to search and keep up to date.

Pros

We can keep tabs on payment processes, SOPs, and internal memos together in one place. Linking out to pages and adding checklists is especially useful.

Cons

It doesn’t allow for granular permission control per block, which we realise would be useful for us to differentiate between finance and support access.

### "Notion Review as a new user"

July 20, 2025

Notion sets up without too much effort for a small finance team. We create fast a space for internal procedures, prospects pipeline, clients follow up.

Pros

We keep in same pages compliance checklists, a mini CRM via linked databases, history of exchanges, reusable templates for onboarding or internal control.

Cons

Does not handle everything very advanced but if your main need is centralize procedures, basic client files and avoid dispersed files, it does largely the job for this stage.

### "Digital Organization at its Finest!"

November 18, 2024

5.0

I've been looking for ways to improve my organizational skills. Most of my life I've had a tendency to allow clutter in my spaces, physically, mentally and yes- even digitally. Notion is helping me organize all of this clutter and find a system that truly works for me, and for that I am SO grateful! As I'm getting older (38 currently), I've become more aware of how important it is to simplify and organize our spaces. In comes Notion: my solution to stacks of physical notebooks, dozens of desktop sticky notes on my computer, etc. Notion has made it SO simple for me to organize my thoughts, my school work (as a non-traditional bachelors student in my late 30s, Notion has helped me in tremendously!!!), my blog writing, my content creation, recipes, family schedules, and so much more. Notion.so, thank you for playing a part in improving my life, I love you! lol

Pros

I have so many favorite Notion Features! I will try to list them all. Some things I love: The templates - you can purchase templates or find some for free. (You can also learn to create your own templates. I am not that advanced yet, but one day when I have time I'd love to learn more). I absolutely LOOOOVE the search feature and utilize it pretty much daily (multiple times a day even). This saves SO much time. Think about it: with a physical notebook, you have to scan the pages to find specific information (when studying, looking for a specific recipe you’ve written down, etc) but with Notion? Just use the search bar to search a phrase, term, whatever you're looking for, and bam: there it is!! I could go on and on about all of the features I love about Notion, but I'll include a list of the ways I use it daily: daily journaling with the built-in journal feature (I customized it to my preference), checklists (to help me organize daily, weekly, monthly tasks), the Pomodoro Technique template is awesome (set a timer and really focus on each task at hand!); I regularly use the "Toggle" feature so that my pages aren't too terribly long, I can open the toggle to see more information. I absolutely LOVE that you can embed YouTube Videos, webpages, PDFs, images and more right into Notion! This has helped me organize things so well! I love the "Reading" List! You can add books you'd like to read, you're currently reading, rate the book and include tons of info. I've taken it a step further an added my e-books, chapter summaries, etc to keep all of my book information together and easily assessible for quick refreshers at any time! I could honestly go on all day about all of the amazing, helpful, and time-saving features within Notion.

Cons

I honestly cannot identify much that I like least about Notion. So far I am loving each feature. As with anything, some things may take time to practice and figure out (an example is creating my own templates using formulas etc to meet specific need, but I'll work on that later when time allows). Overall, Notion is VERY intuitive and easy to use.

Switched from

I made the switch from desktop OneNote "sticky notes", and although they can be helpful, I found myself overwhelmed by the sheer amount of them I accumulated over a short time. It felt so cluttered and I knew I needed a better solution. This is when I met Notion and I'll never look back!

### "Notion has range"

July 27, 2025

I really liked using Notion, a bit of writing, a bit of modern Excel with tables and smart properties.

Pros

I like Notion because besides the minimalist look, it gives users the freedom to do whatever they want. It’s not easy to understand how to use all the options, but even with just the basics, you can build your own system.

Cons

I like Notion and I’d love to learn more about how to use it better, but I find the courses from users way too expensive.

### "Notion review "

December 11, 2024

I use Notion to manage my personal tasks, plan content for my youtube Channel and tiktok account and some Time Facebook, and collaborate with my team on projects. Its flexibility allows me to track everything from to-do lists to complex databases, all within a single app. It has helped me stay more organized and productive.

Pros

As an experienced user, I can confidently say that Notion's greatest strength lies in its unparalleled flexibility and adaptability. It combines note-taking, task management, and database functionalities into a single platform, allowing users to create highly customized workflows tailored to their specific needs. The ability to interlink pages and databases makes organizing and accessing information seamless, while real-time collaboration features enable teams to work together effortlessly. Notion's extensive library of templates is a game-changer, providing a head start for everything from project management to personal goal tracking. Additionally, its cross-platform compatibility ensures that your work stays synchronized across devices, making it an indispensable tool for both individual productivity and team collaboration.

Cons

Limited offline functionality compared to other tools and sometime performance can lag slightly for very large databases.
