I absolutely love Notion. It is worth every single dollar. I know I’m not even using it to its full potential yet, and that’s the beauty of it—there is always more to discover. The only real downside is that because it does so much, you have to give it time to learn. It’s not a tool you just pick up and master in an hour. However, the payoff is massive. I plan to purchase an annual subscription, which I never do, but for Notion I will. If you are willing to put in the time to learn how it works, it becomes the only app you’ll ever need. It’s an investment in your own organization and peace of mind.

Pros

Unmatched Customization: It is incredibly flexible. You can build a workspace that fits your exact workflow—it worked for all the things I need: documentation for clients, writing scripts for content, managing my time/calendar, and storage. It links to so many different apps; it's better than Google in every possible way. Stop using Google. All-in-One Powerhouse: You genuinely don’t need any other app. It combines an amazing calendar, robust document editing (far better than Google Docs), and seamless notifications into one affordable platform. Future-Proof Investment: The value is so high that it’s worth purchasing an annual subscription—a rare move for me, but Notion has earned it. Efficiency Once Set Up: While it takes time to build, once the system is running, it makes everything easy and keeps your mental load lighter.

Cons

The "Overwhelming" Factor: The sheer number of features can be a double-edged sword. It is almost too customizable, which can feel overwhelming at first. Steep Learning Curve: Because it is an "all-in-one" app, it’s easy to overlook features or get lost in the options. It requires a dedicated investment of time to learn how to use it to its full potential. Initial Intuition: It might feel slightly unintuitive when you first dive in, even though it becomes very intuitive once you understand the logic.

Google is slow, I hate Chrome, the privacy and data sharing issues, I just want to move away from Google as much as possible, and use other apps. Google used to be the best, and now it's the worst. I tried Notion randomly one day, I heard it was good, and a friend recommended it. When I used it, I was like, "oh... now I see why people love this and hate google."

Pros

Notion is handy for bringing different types of information together in one space and organising work according to your needs. I appreciate being able to create pages, tables, and different spaces to track several projects without using multiple pieces of software.

Cons

However, all the possibilities and the organisation can become confusing if too many pages or different databases are created.

My overall experience with Notion has been very positive. It is a flexible and powerful workspace that allows me to organize notes, tasks, projects, documents, and databases in one place. I particularly like the clean interface and customization options, which make it easy to create a workspace that matches my needs. Collaboration features are also useful for sharing information and working with others. However, the large number of features can be overwhelming at first, and learning how to organize complex pages and databases takes some time. Overall, Notion is an excellent tool for improving organization, productivity, and project management.

Pros

Notion is a flexible all-in-one workspace that combines notes, documents, databases, and task management in one place. I like its clean interface and extensive customization options, which make it easy to organize information according to my needs. Templates are also helpful for getting started quickly, while databases and different views make tracking projects and tasks more efficient. Collaboration features allow teams to share pages, add comments, and keep information centralized. The main drawback is that Notion can feel overwhelming for new users because of its many customization options and features. Overall, it is a powerful tool for staying organized and managing both personal and team projects. What I like most about Notion is its flexibility and clean interface. I can use it to organize notes, tasks, projects, documents, and databases all in one place. The customizable pages and templates make it easy to create a workspace that fits my needs, while collaboration features help teams share information and work together efficiently.

Cons

What I like least about Notion is that it can feel overwhelming for new users because of its many features and customization options. It can take some time to learn how everything works, and setting up complex workspaces may require extra effort. I also find that navigating large databases and pages can sometimes become less convenient.

Pros

I liked the flexibility of using Notion for different types of work. I could keep notes, project information, task lists, meeting notes, and documentation in one place instead of switching between multiple tools. The templates and shared pages also made it convenient to collaborate and keep information organized.

Cons

Because Notion is so customizable, setting up a workspace from scratch could take some time. Large pages or databases could also feel a little overwhelming when there was too much information. Some features took a bit of experimenting before I figured out the best way to use them.

I love it – I recommend Notion to everyone that is a portfolio careerist or freelancer that is needs a place to manage everything.

Pros

Notion is one of the few project management tools I've used that balances beautiful UI with intelligent capabilities.

Cons

With endless possibilities comes a little bit of confusion with the constant pages and subpages. It can be difficult at times to find where I put something easily.

Notion works particularly well as the layer connecting design, product, and engineering. It gives us a shared place for requirements, research findings, decisions, meeting notes, and project updates. I appreciate that it doesn't force a rigid process and can evolve as the product changes. It has reduced scattered documentation and made collaboration much easier.

Pros

I use it for research notes, design documentation, project briefs, feedback, and planning. It’s especially useful for keeping product decisions and context in one place so the team can refer back to them later. The flexibility is a big advantage because I can build a workspace around the project instead of changing the project to fit the tool.

Cons

There can be too much flexibility. Without some structure, workspaces can quickly become cluttered or inconsistent across teams. I also find that large databases with lots of content can feel a little slow at times.

Pros

For someone managing many projects with different aims Notion has been a really useful tool. I’ve been using many other tools that Notion has now replaced, doing what they do and more efficiently.

Cons

Notion is incredibly helpful and I haven’t come across any downsides, but I require more tries of Notion AI.

Pros

Notion database helps me create tables and organize many things in my workspace. Reminders are useful for someone like me who procrastinates.

Cons

I think that Notion is bringing more and more annoying options and that ruin the user experience a bit.
