Overall, Notion is a very useful platform for keeping information centralized and organized. It works particularly well for team documentation, project tracking and collaboration. There is a bit of a learning curve with some of the editing features, but once you get used to them, it is a very powerful tool for everyday work.

Pros

I really like the flexibility Notion offers for organizing information and working with a team. It is very convenient to have documentation, projects, tasks and shared knowledge in one place, and it makes collaboration and information sharing much easier.

Cons

Some document editing features are not as intuitive as they could be. Certain formatting options or changes can take a while to figure out, especially compared with more traditional document editing tools.

Great! I've used it for personal things and have my own personal dashboard, and we also use it professionally. I'll say, the paid version with the AI assistant is AMAZING. If you are an organization looking at getting Notion for scrum, system management, data management, etc. Get the paid version with the AI Assistant. It will save you so much time.

Pros

For our company, we use it as a database for all our IT Asset management and tracking. What we like most about it is the customizability of the software. Basically, we can create anything we want and how we want it to look. The AI assistant is also very handy and we have used it for many things, from pulling information from our database, to creating formulas, to importing information and having it add it directly where we need it! It's easy to communicate with other team members as well, we can just tag each other, chat, ask question questions, assign people, etc. The team collaboration feature is very nice!

Cons

It takes a long time to build things out. If you want it truly customized, you have to build it brick by brick. There are templates of course you can use as a jumping off point or just use the template as is, but for us, we just started from a blank page and built everything how we needed it to work.

Switched from

[Basecamp](https://www.capterra.com/p/56808/Basecamp/)

[Google Sheets](https://www.capterra.com/p/169718/Google-Sheets/)

Google sheets was becoming too limited for what we needed to use it for in terms of Asset Management. We also used Basecamp for purchasing and it was very very limited in its features.

My overall experience with Notion has been positive. The Ease of Use makes it convenient to organize notes, documents, tasks, and project information in one workspace. Project Collaboration and Team Collaboration are useful when multiple people need to contribute to shared information, while Task Management helps track ongoing work and deadlines. Data Synchronization makes information accessible across devices, although occasional delays can occur. Overall, I believe Notion provides good Value for Money for users who want a flexible platform for organizing and collaborating on work.

Pros

Notion is easy to use and provides good value for money for organizing information, notes, and project work in one place. Project Collaboration and Team Collaboration are useful for keeping shared information organized and making it easier for team members to work together. Task Management is also helpful for tracking assignments, deadlines, and ongoing work. The platform's flexible workspace makes it possible to organize information according to different project requirements.

Cons

Notion can take some time to set up and organize effectively, especially when creating more detailed workspaces and databases. As the amount of information grows, finding the right page or maintaining a consistent structure can become challenging. I have also experienced occasional Data Synchronization issues when changes take time to appear across devices. I have limited direct experience with Customer Support, so I cannot strongly evaluate that aspect.

I’ve been using Notion for a couple of years, and the linked database feature has become my go‑to for project tracking. I can pull data from a master task list into a sprint board, auto‑update statuses, and the whole team sees the same live view, which saves me hours of manual updates.

Pros

Notion’s flexible database templates let me build a project tracker that syncs with my calendar. The drag‑and‑drop layout is intuitive, and the inline comments keep the team in the loop without leaving the page.

Cons

The learning curve for advanced formulae can be steep; I had to spend a couple of days hunting through the help docs to set up a multi‑column roll‑up. Also occasional sync lags when editing large pages.

Pros

We mainly used Notion to have our meeting notes, team space and for storing our documents. It is great for project collaboration; intuitive and easy to use.

Cons

Occasionally the files we upload does not merge well with the pages we set up. It was difficult to move the graphics (png) around to fit the margin or in the space.

Pros

Pros

Our team enjoy using Notion for task management and project collaboration. We loved the fact that teams can join in and see the progress on what we were doing. Very intuitive and easy to use.

Cons

We had occasional difficulties synching, or uploading some of the files. Also, unless your team is organized and know how to set up the platform it may be overwhelming in the beginning.

Pros

Notion makes it easy to organize projects, tasks, notes, and documentation in one place. I especially like its flexibility, customizable pages, databases, and clean interface, which make it easy to adapt to different workflows.

Cons

The wide range of features can feel overwhelming at first, especially when setting up databases and advanced workflows. Some advanced features also take time to learn and configure effectively.

I absolutely love Notion. It is worth every single dollar. I know I’m not even using it to its full potential yet, and that’s the beauty of it—there is always more to discover. The only real downside is that because it does so much, you have to give it time to learn. It’s not a tool you just pick up and master in an hour. However, the payoff is massive. I plan to purchase an annual subscription, which I never do, but for Notion I will. If you are willing to put in the time to learn how it works, it becomes the only app you’ll ever need. It’s an investment in your own organization and peace of mind.

Pros

Unmatched Customization: It is incredibly flexible. You can build a workspace that fits your exact workflow—it worked for all the things I need: documentation for clients, writing scripts for content, managing my time/calendar, and storage. It links to so many different apps; it's better than Google in every possible way. Stop using Google. All-in-One Powerhouse: You genuinely don’t need any other app. It combines an amazing calendar, robust document editing (far better than Google Docs), and seamless notifications into one affordable platform. Future-Proof Investment: The value is so high that it’s worth purchasing an annual subscription—a rare move for me, but Notion has earned it. Efficiency Once Set Up: While it takes time to build, once the system is running, it makes everything easy and keeps your mental load lighter.

Cons

The "Overwhelming" Factor: The sheer number of features can be a double-edged sword. It is almost too customizable, which can feel overwhelming at first. Steep Learning Curve: Because it is an "all-in-one" app, it’s easy to overlook features or get lost in the options. It requires a dedicated investment of time to learn how to use it to its full potential. Initial Intuition: It might feel slightly unintuitive when you first dive in, even though it becomes very intuitive once you understand the logic.

Google is slow, I hate Chrome, the privacy and data sharing issues, I just want to move away from Google as much as possible, and use other apps. Google used to be the best, and now it's the worst. I tried Notion randomly one day, I heard it was good, and a friend recommended it. When I used it, I was like, "oh... now I see why people love this and hate google."
