### "One-Stop Resource for SLOs, Lesson Plans, and More"

May 10, 2019

5.0

The biggest benefit of TeachLink has been time savings. Our administration team can view teacher's lesson plans, discipline referrals, SLOs, and more very easily in one location.

Pros

This product allows us to easily document and evaluate our SLOs (student learning objectives). The template and year-to-year rollover have simplified our SLO development, evaluation, and revision processes. We also like that it's a one-stop location for many of the core services we need: lesson plans, discipline incident documentation, and teacher evaluations. The lesson plan feature has been improved since we first started using the product. The product development team is very responsive to our feedback about ways to improve the interface. For example, we've requested (and received) the ability to easily shift lessons from one day to another. Our elementary teachers love to color-code their classes and are now able to do so very easily when setting up their course schedule for the year.

Cons

Having used the Planbook lesson planning software in the past, it took some adjusting to get used to a different planning interface. TeachLink is a little less robust than a platform like Planbook, but its value is in the multi-functionality of its platform.

### "TeachLink for Schools"

July 23, 2021

5.0

Our campus, grade level teachers, administrators and school instructional coaches are all able to communicate and work together for the common good in one place.

Pros

TeachLink is the educator's one stop shop. It is the dashboard and launching pad of all the planning and preparation in one area. I like having my lesson plans, collaborative data and school files all in one area. I like the automatic sharing and the collaborative functionality in one area.

Cons

There was a delay between colleagues adding to the collaborative document and the changes showing up instintaneously.

Reason for choosing TeachLink

It is private and more secure for the campus level.

Switched from

[Google Docs](https://www.capterra.com/p/160756/Google-Docs/)

This was more secure for just our school, rather than making campus documents accessible to the whole school district.

### "Time and Headache Saving"

December 4, 2019

5.0

I hated doing paper lesson plans and having separate files or programs for different aspects of my job. This program streamlines so much of the paperwork in a digital format. I can copy and paste things I need to, and it is simple and clean to use.

Pros

I like that it is simple to use and has so many important features in one place which streamlines my work. I can lesson plan, create student learning objectives, log parent interactions, submit and manage student discipline, and more all in the same program. It functions well and doesn't suffer from the challenging quirks that so many other programs suffer from.

Cons

My only complaint is that when you are creating or editing things like lesson plans it often has to automatically refresh the page to show the changes you've made. The program does this on its own, and it is only a matter of time.

### "TeachLink Improves my Efficiency Daily"

December 4, 2019

5.0

Previous to TeachLink, all of the above-mentioned tasks were handled rather haphazardly. We didn't even have a digital platform to share discipline referrals and parent contacts. Submitting my materials for evaluation was a nightmare. I was working between my digital grade book and Excell spreadsheets, often analyzing the data using pen and paper. TeachLink takes the headache out of the process and saves me countless hours over the course of the year.

Pros

TeachLink consolidates the necessary exchanges that exist between me as a classroom teacher and my administrator. It provides one platform that is used to communicate my daily lesson plans, evaluation materials, discipline referrals, and parent contacts. By design, this program makes my life as a 21st Century Educator immensely more efficient.

Cons

I do wish that I could import directly my plans from Common Curriculum. This is something that I have expressed to the developers and they are working to make that happen.

I have had no issues with TeachLink thus far. When I call their customer service or e-mail them I get a response very quickly. They set me up right away and when I ask for a new feature they seem to get it added to the program right away. The program is very easy to use especially considering I am not very good with computers.

Pros

Everything that you need is finally in one spot. I can see my teacher's lesson plans, annual goals, IDP's, call logs, and discipline referrals on one site. The is really nice especially because everything is tied into the teacher's evaluation program that they also have incorporated into the site.

Cons

The teachers want to be able to collaborate on their lesson plans in the program but I have been told that this will be available by next year.

### "Teachlink Works"

Great product, I would highly recommend using them.

Pros

I like that it makes collecting, computing, and saving Student Growth very easy. It saves me a lot of time as a teacher.

Cons

For some reason all my 6th grade students do not load into the test score section. Most of them do, but I need to individually search for some of them.

### "I love using TeachLink"

May 11, 2021

5.0

Pros

This app has made it really easy for me to assess student performance and send the information to the administrators to review.

Cons

The software is easy to use and I think the pricing is a bit steep but besides that, I would highly recommend it to other users.
