The IDE helped me in learning process and was seamless to start using even though I didn't know the language. Pros It has all the IntelliJ advantages: great autocomplete, easy plugin installation, general abundance of features. Cons It does consume a lot of ram and cpu power but that's a small price to pay for the features it provides. Cons While Pycharm values simplicity and ease-of-use, it lacks many collaborative features built-in in other IDE’s. Slowly overtime, this causes users to leave as its unusable for group work. Pros It is a very powerful tool that has a lot packed in it: version control, command line, python environment, interpreter, and another command line that's made for Python exclusively. Pretty good for a beginner. Cons Having that many tools integrated comes at a cost, that cost is the resources that it uses. It feels slow and clunky at times but you can be sure it will do the job.
