### "Increíble IDE para programar en python"

December 20, 2022

4.0

Pros

### "PyCharm makes Python coding easier."

January 6, 2020

5.0

PyCharm is extremely useful for Python projects. It has great number of features. In my opinion, it's the best tool out here for back end development.

Pros

The best part of PyCharm is the debugger. It works extremely easy for an interpreted language. Better than any other tool I used. Autocompletion works just fine and comes in very handy. Easy to manage different versions of Python and also has a Package Manager.

Cons

Price-wise the full bundle is very expensive. For small projects, it can take up lots of memory, thus an alternative maybe suited.

### "Pycharm Review"

December 27, 2021

4.0

Suitable in building web apps

Pros

\* Provides cross platform for app development. \* Best for developing web pages using python. \* It provides smooth unit testing and easy debugging. \* Can be installed on several platforms not limiting you to a single platform \* Provides support for auto completion of code.

Cons

\* Provides best support for only python ignoring other programming languages which makes developers use different IDE's for different purpose. \* Requires enough space during installation compared to some IDE's. \* Runs very slow on old systems especially during runtime and opening of PyCharm

### "Great features but heavy on processors"

July 23, 2019

5.0

I use pyCharm as my core Python IDE for Ph.D. research. It is very great in terms of autocompletion, code formatting, and refactoring. The only issue is when it comes to Jupyter notebook as it is still awful to replace the standard browser.

Pros

\- Code style, formatting is very impressive. - Debugging features is very good. - Ability to visually update Python packages and install new packages without pip command.

Cons

\- The Jupyter notebook looks so primitive on it. Rendering the notebook is frustrating.

### "The best Python IDE"

January 18, 2020

5.0

Pros

Very high quality, feature rich, performant IDE. The community version is highly useful, and the professional version is better. Supports Linux, Windows, and Mac. Code completion, snippets, jumping to source of imported functions, integrated terminal, source control, project environment specific consoles, debugger, test running gui, configurable, themeable, more.

Cons

It's a big ship, and it can be a little complicated to drive. Configuring a project's resource directories, path variables, and python executable can be very frustrating, particularly for new users.

### "It works out-of-the-box for Python"

June 27, 2022

5.0

Pros

This IDE is great for starters who want to simply start coding. It comes with most commonly used configurations out-of-the-box for Python development. Furthermore, it can be extensively configured.

Cons

It may be heavier in resource consumption than other code editors.

### "PyCharm Review"

July 8, 2019

4.0

We are doing some deep learning using PyCharm. The overall experience have been fantastic and will suggest everyone to use it.

Pros

The best thing about PyCharm is the hierarchical view of the project. You can structure your project easily. Also for each individual project you can install libraries like scipy, opencv, torch and many more, which will be installed using virtual environment. This will not interfere with the systems installation and also will not interfere with builtin python installations. Besides, if you are a beginner and don't know about complex installation system of ubuntu, python virtual environment, PyCharm is the thing for you.

Cons

I like the least about the software is the debugging interface. Also you have to install all the packages if you start a new project.

### "Python coding mad easy"

April 7, 2021

5.0

Productivity increase provided by tool that great cannot be measured. After initial setup that can be problematic, it is the best Python IDE I have used

Pros

I love how PyCharm incorporates every useful functionality in a single IDE. Adding libraries is easy and intuitive, great debugging built in and the best code editor there is

Cons

Library search can be muddied by obsolete and not updated results and setting up python on Windows to work with PyCharm is not the easiest thing

### "A Good Tool For Lovers of Python"

September 25, 2019

4.0

I particularly am using PyCharm to horn my skills in coding with the python programming language. Apart from the fact that I get to wait a long time for the software to load, and I cant multitask with other jobs on my laptop, PyCharm is really a wonderful tool for both newbies and experts to build wonderful python programs. And the fact that the Django framework is embedded makes it even better for optimal utility.

Pros

This software is quite intelligent and a wonderful masterpiece. Its pack of libraries and easy intelligent code recognition and indentation makes me always want to continue my coding practice in python.

Cons

I know PyCharm is useful in creating a GUI feel for python codes, but the product is quite heavy and resource consuming especially when running on earlier versions of Windows operating system; this makes the loading and initialization time to take long.

### "Top Application for Python Coders"

October 3, 2019

5.0

Better readability of the code has made it possible to save much time which can be used to further increase efficiency.

Pros

Best vizualization for python coders. The beautiful interface and coding area helps users write and read code much faster.

Cons

There are few cons that Pycharm has. In my opinion, it would be great to have more preinstalled themes. I have AMOLED display and having pure black theme would drastically increase my productivity.

### "Really great for Python development"

June 16, 2020

4.0

Development, integration and deployment of python projects

Pros

Pycharm is quite beautiful in use as it allows a developer to get in and install modules and libraries directly instead of using CMD, makes integration, building and deployment quite a breeze.

Cons

Installing and configuration of pycharm is quite tedious and very confusing especially for novice users. Throws certain errors and breaks as a result of missing files when trying to set up and configure for use, which can be quite frustrating.

### "Powerful IDE"

December 31, 2021

5.0

The programming environment is appropriate and has great features

Pros

It has an autocomplete feature, it prompts you with some logical options to complete your coding. The debugging option gives you a clear way to know where your mistake could be found. Also, it tells you the line where the error occurred and what is wrong with the code, or suggestions of what is the most logical sequence of commands

Cons

Sometimes the indicated lines of mistakes are incorrect

### "PyCharm Review"

May 21, 2019

4.0

I use Pycharm for all the day to day activities I untertake in my curriculum and has the experience has been seamless so far.

Pros

1) The software is very intuitive to use. 2) The interface is easy for people who are beginners in python. 3) They administrators also provide free course to enhance your understanding of Python as a language. 4) While debugging Pycharm allows you to access the library where the things might go wrong. 5) The other great thing about Pycharm is that for students it is free for first year.

Cons

1) The only thing which irritates me a little bit about this software is that we cannot see the intermediate outputs like in a Jupyter notebook.

### "One of the best and simple IDE for Python"

January 8, 2024

5.0

Pros

I used Pycharm during my Bachelors to complete some Python Assignments and it was veryy helpful. The color scheme for different keywors, functions, classes etc enhanced code readability and it also provided error identifications and fixes quickly. Autocompletion also helped me finish my assignments quicker and is quite helpful when I am stuck with remembering syntaxes.

Cons

It is quite resource-heavy and might slow down low-end computers. The professional version is very expensive as well.

### "El mejor IDE de Python"

July 27, 2021

5.0
