Integrations to our Gradelink system makes it so teachers can grade in Classroom and it auto-transfers to our SIS. Extremely helpful! The process to return digital submissions can feel a little arduous but once learned is worth the extra step. Cons The assignment return process. I used it on my laptop as well as on my phone. It was very useful for me as I was able to access my courses anywhere and at any time. Pros I like that it is very easy to use. I can find all my classes and their study materials all in here at one place. It is also a great tool to interact with my teachers. I never had any technical errors or issues while using google classroom. The customer support is available 7 days a week. It is great value of money spent on the studies. I can also connect with my classmates and other users easily. Cons I do not like that this app only works for few months. When all the courses end, the study materials gets removed. February 24, 2026 5.0 I have used it for years and have trained many teachers to use it. They are always amazed at how simple it is and all of the different things it can do. Pros It is SO simple to learn, implement, and use. It also keeps the students engaged, and you can diversify instruction by offering different levels of lessons, but everyone is working from the same vantage point. Using the Socratic method, the Google Classroom allows to me to help them think critically about next steps and insight into the lessons. The features allow me to change up the lessons or quizzes to keep the classroom lively. Cons Short of it writing and uploading everything for me, none. I have enjoying using this system a lot as well as my coworkers and students alike. . Pros Google classroom is very easy to use and user friendly. The features are ever growing and improving. I love that any grade is able to use this. I have never had any issues with bugs or technology issues with Google Classroom. This makes interaction with students so much easier. It is easy to set up and manage and I've gotten positive feedback from my students too. Pros I have loved Google Classroom since I was a student! It is an easy to use platform with a variety of features that help me assign multiple items for my students to complete. I mostly use it for small tutoring groups or my one on ones. It has worked for my students when they even travel to different countries. Cons The only issue I've had with Google Classroom is an occasional stall when trying to upload from the phone. It’s truly easy to use, adding classes, assignments, it’s easy to make quizzes, and of course integrated with everything Google. I really liked it! And it’s better than Blackboard. Pros It’s very user-friendly and it integrated with everything. Especially since so many schools are going a Google route, using Google classroom makes it super easy to use everything else, from Gmail to Google slides. And like everything Google does, it’s clear and consistent in style. Cons Personally, my school moved to Canvas and I like that better because it has more apps that you can use for it. However, I would not be upset if we went back to Google classroom, because it really is that easy to use. Its actually quite pleasing to know i have someone willing to give me firsthand help, to make sure I have acquired the knowledge, necessary to gain my desired certificate. Cons Some things taught are a very lengthy process. If you already have the knowledge being taught then you shouldnt have to sit through it?Unfortunately, if you want the certificate. It is helpful for all the students to have an online copy, and keep track of what we did in class each day if they were absent. Pros The announcement tab is very streamline and is where my students get most of their information. The classwork tab is helpful to organize topics and units. Cons I don't like how hard it is to input marks for each student. I wish there was also a way to organize the people into groups as well for a group assignment online. The updates to the app have made them worse. Sometimes the app is a pain to use and more frustrating than anything else. Pros Love good classroom. Great for uploading and reviewing homework and updating students on events. Love the app. Cons Video uploads are terrible. After an update it has made sharing and viewing video uploads impossible. Simple, user friendly, intuitive. Pros I loved that I could create multiple classes and duplicate courses for each class that I tought. My school also uses the Google suite, so having everything in one place is a brilliant life hack. Cons I least liked that ever document that was shared with me was also added to my Google drive. Cons It's a bit rigid in what I can actually do with it. I can't get quite as much customization as I'd like. Google could consider adding features like overall course grades for it to be an LMS that educational institutions formally adopt. Pros The UI is intuitive and works perfectly with modern day web browsers and phones. Additionally, it is easy to submit assignments in your Google Drive for your teacher to grade and give feedback. Cons You can only submit assignments directly from Google Drive and can't upload any files from non Google products like Microsoft or pdfs not in your Google Drive. I don't need things from 5 years ago in an archive. If I do go in to a class from years past, it just seems a big jumble of old classes. I wish I could nest them or something (similar to email folders). Maybe you can, but it doesn't seem intuitive. Pros I really like the ability to add kids to a class and send out one link and have everything covered. It cuts way down on communication with kids and parents. Most times I don't even send anything out; they know the classroom after they enter the verification code, and they can go to the page on their own to see what it is that I have added. Cons I don't like how it never deleted your old classes but instead archives them forever. You can hide them, but I'd like the ability to just delete them.
