Dendi LIS Reviews
Pros
They are always quick to respond when an issue arises and love to hear feedback from their users that can help improve their product. The service they provide is top tier.
I like the flexibility of the product, the speed of the site, and the excellent and super responsive customer service from the Dendi team.
The Dendi team has been wonderful to work with. They are super responsive and listen carefully to our requirements.
We are also excited to see additional functionality like integration with lab instruments and other software which will help us scale workflow more efficiently in terms of both time and money.
Cons
Since they move so quickly, it can be hard to keep up with at times.
Switching from a different vendor may be tough, due to the workflow updates.
This is a fairly new ("cutting edge") product, so some people were resistant to change. Also, not every feature is as fleshed-out since it's so new.
I am currently utilizing Dendi to streamline and automated reports such as Sample volume, sales commission, charges, expected reimbursements, affidavits, among other dashboard alike quick steps.
"Fantastic & cutting-edge tool for med labs"
Pros: The software is really easy, fast, and clean. We were used to large systems like Epic, which are often difficult to use and are starting to show their age. We found their system to be much more intuitive than what we typically see. If there was ever a problem, it was also very easy to get in contact with the Dendi team and get a resolution; they had very strong follow-up.
Cons: This is a fairly new ("cutting edge") product, so some people were resistant to change. Also, not every feature is as fleshed-out since it's so new.
"Excellent Portal"
Overall: Excellent. I help accounts with using Dendi and for my part Dendi has been awesome. Very easy to use. The constant upgrades is amazing. They take feedback, and see if it will align with their system and if they can do it they do.
Pros: There isn't just one thing, there are many great things. Great Staff and they are always upgrading the system. There are many automations within the system that make it so much easier to gather data.
Cons: It's not really a con but the length of time it takes to get a new feature added - I understand because there is a lot of coding that goes into the change. When you have an automation like this system does you really have to take your time when changes/upgrades are made. I know the dislike of supporting Account Reps but when it comes to our accounts, we dabble in everything so it would be nice to be able to sort accounts by Account Reps and Types of accounts - I know that is more Marketing but certain accounts do certain types of tests so if we have a warning or notice to that group of accounts that we need to get out it would be a nice feature to just send to those accounts rather than to accounts that it doesn't affect. I think also a note section that when a provider is submitting an order and they want to leave us a note with that order, that would be awesome.
"Integration from Polytech"
Overall: Still experimenting in the "playground" before go-live.
Pros: Easier to use than current platform, Polytech.
Cons: Ease of system, quality control use, limit of certain options compared to Epic (obviously larger company).
Vendor Response
"Dendi LIS User friendly at its best"
Overall: Excellent in one word. I truly enjoy working on this system because it is so easy to navigate.
Pros: Its easy to navigate, super easy to in-service and teach how to use and customer support are always helpful.
Cons: Minimal cons honestly. I would like to be able to make a field mandatory if I needed too that's honestly about it.
"A well maintained LIS"
Overall: Dendi is an excellent LIS. It far outperforms other LIS's I have used in the past.
Pros: I like the ease of test ordering and the fact that our feedback is acknowledged and updates are performed regularly, outside of business hours.
Cons: The only thing I don't like about Dendi is that the forms are not exclusively keyboard navigatable. I prefer to Tab through menus and Dendi requires me to move my hand to my mouse frequently.
