### "Fantastic & cutting-edge tool for med labs"

September 13, 2019

5.0

Pros

The software is really easy, fast, and clean. We were used to large systems like Epic, which are often difficult to use and are starting to show their age. We found their system to be much more intuitive than what we typically see. If there was ever a problem, it was also very easy to get in contact with the Dendi team and get a resolution; they had very strong follow-up.

Cons

This is a fairly new ("cutting edge") product, so some people were resistant to change. Also, not every feature is as fleshed-out since it's so new.

### "Integration from Polytech"

October 24, 2024

Still experimenting in the "playground" before go-live.

Pros

Easier to use than current platform, Polytech.

Cons

Ease of system, quality control use, limit of certain options compared to Epic (obviously larger company).

Response from Dendi

November 18, 2024

Thanks for your feedback, Jennifer, as it's helpful for our improvement! We're glad that the migration from Polytech went well and that you feel Dendi is easier to use. Making the LIS switch smooth and user experience are our top objectives. We're striving to reach Epic-level functionality (it's why we update more frequently than any other LIS vendor). If you have any feature requests that would be valuable to your lab, we'd love to hear from you! You can reach out to your account manager and let them know. The Dendi Team

### "I like Dendi"

April 22, 2025

Cons

### "Excellent Portal"

October 18, 2024

5.0

Excellent. I help accounts with using Dendi and for my part Dendi has been awesome. Very easy to use. The constant upgrades is amazing. They take feedback, and see if it will align with their system and if they can do it they do.

Pros

There isn't just one thing, there are many great things. Great Staff and they are always upgrading the system. There are many automations within the system that make it so much easier to gather data.

Cons

It's not really a con but the length of time it takes to get a new feature added - I understand because there is a lot of coding that goes into the change. When you have an automation like this system does you really have to take your time when changes/upgrades are made. I know the dislike of supporting Account Reps but when it comes to our accounts, we dabble in everything so it would be nice to be able to sort accounts by Account Reps and Types of accounts - I know that is more Marketing but certain accounts do certain types of tests so if we have a warning or notice to that group of accounts that we need to get out it would be a nice feature to just send to those accounts rather than to accounts that it doesn't affect. I think also a note section that when a provider is submitting an order and they want to leave us a note with that order, that would be awesome.

### "Dendi LIS User friendly at its best"

June 14, 2024

5.0

Excellent in one word. I truly enjoy working on this system because it is so easy to navigate.

Pros

Its easy to navigate, super easy to in-service and teach how to use and customer support are always helpful.

Cons

Minimal cons honestly. I would like to be able to make a field mandatory if I needed too that's honestly about it.

### "A well maintained LIS"

March 5, 2024

5.0

Dendi is an excellent LIS. It far outperforms other LIS's I have used in the past.

Pros

I like the ease of test ordering and the fact that our feedback is acknowledged and updates are performed regularly, outside of business hours.

Cons

The only thing I don't like about Dendi is that the forms are not exclusively keyboard navigatable. I prefer to Tab through menus and Dendi requires me to move my hand to my mouse frequently.

### "Most Improved LIS"

May 13, 2025

4.0

Overall, Dendi has been a reliable and well-received solution for our laboratory needs. It continues to support both our internal operations and external client relationships effectively.

Pros

We've had an excellent experience using the Dendi Laboratory Information System (LIS). The platform features a clean, intuitive user interface that makes daily operations smooth and efficient for our staff. It's evident that the system was designed with usability in mind, which greatly reduces training time and user error. One of Dendi's standout strengths is its seamless integration with our clients' Electronic Medical Records (EMRs). This compatibility has significantly streamlined workflows and improved communication between labs and providers—something our clients consistently appreciate. Whenever we’ve encountered technical issues or had configuration questions, Dendi's IT team has proven to be highly knowledgeable and responsive. Their support has been instrumental in ensuring consistent system performance and quick resolution of any challenges.

Cons

Dendi does fall short in a few key areas. The system currently lacks critical features for tracking staff productivity, monitoring sample rejections, and performing advanced analytics. These tools are essential for optimizing operations and maintaining high-quality standards in a laboratory environment. Their absence requires us to rely on external systems or manual tracking, which adds inefficiency and complexity to our workflow.

### "A great LIS with somethings holding it back."

Overall, my experience with Dendi has been okay. Other than the website working slowly occasionally and the missing data features, it is easy to use and provides a streamlined way to access and deal with patient lab results.

Pros

Cons

There are data monitoring features missing as well as no API support.

### "Top-quality solution"

June 29, 2021

5.0

Pros

Very easy to use, set up, and maintain. Customer support is responsive and great to work with. In 2021, if you're not already on cloud-based software, it's time to make the jump. They really do consider themselves a "partner" in your business and take pride in making sure you're successful. Integrated provider and patient portals are also an interesting concept that they've executed very nicely.

Cons

Switching from a different vendor may be tough, due to the workflow updates.

### "Great product!"

May 20, 2019

5.0

The Dendi team has been great working with our team on adaptation of their system to the needs of our lab. We plan to work with them on using their software for generation of worksheets and import of data from both automated results as well as manual ones. I highly recommend this product to both new and existing labs!

Pros

I like the flexibility of the product, the speed of the site, and the excellent and super responsive customer service from the Dendi team.

Cons

Some features are available for reporting of metrics and sorting of data, though I would be interested in more complex features which would allow users to enter search criteria for automatic data generation.

### "Excellent and Affordable Cloud LIMS"

May 18, 2019

5.0

The Dendi team has been wonderful to work with. They are super responsive and listen carefully to our requirements. A+ for customer service!!

Pros

Dendi offers an easy-to-use, well-designed system at an affordable price point for new/small labs like us. We are excited to offer our customers secure access to patient results and secure remote access for our CLIA lab team. We are also excited to see additional functionality like integration with lab instruments and other software which will help us scale workflow more efficiently in terms of both time and money. We looked at a number of different cloud-based LIMS and Dendi was the best fit for our lab today with plenty of room to grow. Kind of like Quickbooks for CLIA lab order management.

Cons

Reporting functionality is still basic. We look forward to creating customizable formats for reporting and record searches in the near future.

Dendi has a perfect lay out that is easy to use and everythng is already entered in all you have to do is make you choices once you have a patient already established . It is easy to look up orders and the reports are on the home page as they are reported . Love that !!!

Pros

I have worked for a couple different labs and used other software .Dendi is layed out much easier and more detailed . I love it !!!

### "Dendi portal"

October 22, 2024

5.0

It's been exceptionally good. I am glad that the technology used is easy to navigate.

Pros

Upon being a new hire, I was worried that the portal might be difficult to learn. I had been employed at my previous job for almost 5 years and had grown fond of that labs portal. I was able to quicky learn and navigate through Dendi. All the information is easy to access.

Cons

Not being able to Batch print reports. You can do date to date but it will still have the previous results in the same batch.

Review Source

Response from Dendi

November 21, 2024

Thanks for your feedback! For batch printing reports, there is a way to generate batch reports through the Analytics > Batch Reports section. This feature allows users to add up to 1,500 reports within a selected time frame based on parameters like Account, Provider, Patient, or Test Profile. If this doesn't work as you'd expect, we’d love to hear from you to better understand your needs and ensure the batch reporting feature works effectively for you. You can reach out to support or your Account Manager to discuss this in more detail. Your insights would help us refine our tools further and ensure they meet your expectations. Kind regards, The Dendi Team

### "Best SAAS LIS on the Market"

March 7, 2023

5.0

Working with the folks at Dendi is a great pleasure. In my experience business success is made up of three components; Talent, Culture and Extreme Customer Focus. Dendi has figured out how to hire the best talent in the industry, create a professional and caring culture and most importantly, how to focus on delivering a cutting edge, modern and stable Laboratory Information System. We know because in the 10 plus years we have been in business, we have gone through 3 different legacy systems, all outdated. Dendi simplified the SAAS LIS model. We are thankful for Dendi for giving us that edge in keeping our business that much more successful.

Pros

Dendi is a very easy LIS to implement and use. The system is intuitive and makes training employees fast and easy.

Cons

We had no dislikes or issues with Dendi.

### "Satisfied Dendi Customer"

June 12, 2024

5.0

Pros

the ease of navigation and the Order List. The Order List is very useful in tracking samples, account volumes, etc...

Cons

The lack of sample tracking once it is placed in a batch.

Review Source

Response from Dendi

June 17, 2024

Thanks for your feedback, Josh! Enhanced sample tracking features are launching at the end of Q3 2024 (track sample locations within the lab and tube storage management). This was a highly requested feature, so it was included in our product roadmap which is available for all Dendi users to see and leave feedback on. Keep an eye out for updates the product release notes under your account menu!

### "Simple and effective LIS"

November 2, 2023

5.0

Pros

I have worked for 3 different hospitals using a different LIS at each one. Coming into the research field, I was worried that the LIS used would be terrible, but Dendi has exceeded expectations. It is extremely easy to receive patient tissues and to report results. Anything we need to change or add, Dendi support has been extremely helpful in implementing it. The team also makes an effort to visit us to tell us about new features and to learn about any concerns we have.

Cons

I can't attest to everything since I am not an administrator, so I'm not too familiar with all of the features Dendi has to offer. However, I have no complaints about the interface, and I use it daily.

### "Great people with a great product."

August 13, 2022

5.0

I have highly enjoyed working not only with the product Dendi provides but also the team at Dendi. They are always quick to respond when an issue arises and love to hear feedback from their users that can help improve their product. The service they provide is top tier!

Pros

Dendi is so user-friendly. The flow from creating an order, to verifying the result, and finally reviewing the final report is so streamlined it takes new people to the team no time to pick up the workflow.

Cons

Dendi needs some work in recording quality control results. The dendi team has worked with me personally to improve this process. I have no doubt they will make this portion of the product align with the other awesome aspects this LIS provides.

Reason for choosing Dendi LIS

Dendi had a cloud-based system and gave the user a much more hands on approach to making changes in the LIS system.

Dendi team is very easy to work with. They are flexible, especially with the integration of our software.

Pros

We developed our own App for our company. Dendi Team worked with us seemingly to have our App integrate well with their software.

Cons

The product is still in development, there are some nuances that could be improved in the LIS. But the team is working hard to have all those options.
