Very good product, I'm glad I'm able to do most of my administrative processing on one platform.

Pros

All in one solution. You can communicate with your clients, take notes, manage documents, get e-signatures, manage workflows, etc.

Cons

Not so much a dislike, but a possibility to improve the product. It could have integrations (not just printing to TD) with common tax software so we can save time moving information from one system to the other. Also could use AI to identify where the signature should go on a document, etc. It is also getting a little pricey.

has changed the way we communicate with our clients and has made it so much easier for them to send us information. We have clients all over the country and they love being able to upload everything instead of mailing it.

Ease for clients, to send information and access documents Billing clients is super easy and clients love paying through the portal. I really appreciate the way TD listens to us and is willing to change the programs to help us.

No way for the firm to store credit card numbers for automatic payments for clients

Overall, is great. I will definitely continue to use it season after season. I want to familiarize myself with the software a bit more so I can take full advantage of all of the features.

Pros

I love how easy the streamlining process is for the clients and how we can gather all of their information that we need for tax season. Absolutely makes tax season so much easier for my firm.

Cons

I feel like the communication part with clients can be a bit more streamlined. I'd like to be able to know when clients read a message. I also would like the new client folders to automatically apply every year. I also may not know the software as well as I should but I also have not been offered a training.

### "Still learning, next year I might increase my rating?"

Support has been good, but I have also used workflows for tax pros to help me learn everything. I do not think you need to use someone like that, but for me it was helpful.

Pros

What I like: The portal is a secure way to share files with your clients and gives them a separate account from their personal and business accounts with one log in, the KBA signature feature works quickly and easily, the pipelines automates requests and the assigning of tasks.

Cons

It takes time to learn how to use and implement the pipelines. I'm going on my second year. So far I spent more time setting everything up and learning how to use the pipelines properly. I expect or at least I'm hopeful, that by my third year it will be a time saver to cover my cost, which is substantial. But if it starts to save me time, should be worth the cost.

The overall experience has been good. There are still several features we've yet to implement but look forward to doing so.

Pros

Provides simple and secure means of exchanging documents with clients and team.

Cons

Setting up pipelines for workflow certainly had a learning curve to it but, the support at was able to help our firm through the process.

I got into the end of 2020/2021. My company was getting to a point where our old systems weren't going to enable us to scale, so we were looking for a more inclusive option. I came across TaxDome from someone who had a course on making tax season easier, and when she shared the Workflows and Pipelines, I was sold. TaxDome has been the backbone of our tax season for the past few years.

Pros

I love most the customizability of and that it is Tax Specific based portal software with space to add in Advisory.

Cons

They've gotten pretty big, so I feel less connected to their team.

Pros

Responsiveness of the customer service team. i have the ability to request training on any specific topic necessary and obtain one-on-one training.

Cons

Some of the sort options are clunky. On some screens, you only have one column to which you can sort. This requires that you work with more filters than is sometimes necessary.

It has been an outstanding experience! If I have issues, they are promptly dealt with.

Pros

It's been a learning curve, but I am getting there. has always offered lots of help and has an academy where you can learn at your own pace. Overall, it is a great product. They listen to their users, add their desired features, and request whenever possible!

Cons

The only negative aspect is the cost. For a one-person accounting firm like mine, the price is alot for one product.

I really want to use it but I have not have the chance to use all the capabilities but I get confuse

My colleagues have giving me great review for this programs but I find hard to set up. Setting the program for me has been complicated.

No very user friendly for new person trying to use the program. I think there should be intake person at the beginning.

I've had a great experience with overall as the cons really are just minor feature requests.

Pros

I love the ease ability to be able to just setup workflows that can be customized toward my overall onboarding process and ongoing service with a client. Overall it's a very user friendly platform and easy to grasp within just a few uses.

Cons

There is some limited functionality such as internally talking with team members overall, and also external integrations overall are limited.

Overall it works well and It helps us keep track of the process and getting documents to our clients securely.

That I am able to keep track of who is working on a tax return and what step it is on in the process.

Cons

when we push the go back arrow it does not take us back to the client we are working on, instead it takes us back to the entire client list.

It has been an excellent experience. We increased our productivity by 21% just in the first tax season with . Without taxdome we would have had to hire 3-4 more people to manage our current client load.

Pros

It provides a holistic approach to managing your firm.

Cons

Sometimes it can be a bit buggy, but if you bring it to their attention their team fixes any bugs really quick.

I love logging in to Tax Dome! I enjoy learning new things about it.

Pros

It helps me keep track of where I left off with clients. It helps streamline my workflow process. It customizable, I appreciate that TD takes our feedback and makes changes to the software. I really like their support team because they can speak English and they thoroughly understand the software much better than I do. I tell anybody who is starting a tax of bookkeeping business to give TD a try. Oh, I also like the price point.

Cons

It would be nice if the annual basic package came with another user. I would LOVE it if the mobile app has the same functions as the laptop/desktop. The mobile app is very limited to me.
