Pros

Security, ease of use, level of organization for the client and that as a professional this allows me to provide a high level/white glove serto my client and they all LOVE that!

Pricing for the platform and to have additional employees/workers to be added for tax season

Pros

The automations are huge. They save me time and money. The esignatures are great. The client experience has been top notch. Such great feedback on that.

Cons

Hmmmm thats tough. I love it a lot. I guess sometimes maybe during high peak volume times it gets laggy? Could also be attributable to my PC or own internet.

I'm very happy with TaxDome. I needed a secure communication platform with project tracking and KBA e-signatures, and TD has all that and so much more. In fact, I recently switched to a 3 year contract, which should tell you how pleased I am. I highly recommend any CPA firm check out this software!

Pros

I love all of the automation features. It makes my workflow highly customizable and well organized. I always know who has which tasks to complete, and where in the process any given deliverable is. Plus they keep introducing more incredible features, so the product is continually improved.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve at the beginning in order to understand how the system works and how to set up your own processes, so I'm still tweaking some of my setup as I get more experience with the product. I also wish they supported foreign currency invoicing (CAD-USD).

TaxDome's features and user design were head and shoulders above Liscio's. (I used Liscio with another firm and it was not as good as they sales team said it would be - very disappointing.) Plus TaxDome continually adds features and improves the software, so it just keeps getting better.

### "TaxDome for the WIN!"

They have been WONDERFUL! All their employees are friendly and knowledgeable, they offer so much training (both in video and in person) and are very transparent with the changes that are coming. They listen to the community and are mindful of tax deadlines when they do make changes.

Pros

Love the secure messaging, printing directly from my tax software to TD, client communication in one place and the automation gave me an "admin" that I desperately needed.

Cons

I wish SMS didn't need a separate phone number (but chat works great) and wish it could integrate with QB payments.

### "Customize TaxDome to Fit Your Process"

I love it and recommend it to everyone! The price is reasonable too.

Pros

Customization is the key to make TaxDome work for any size firm. It also has a lot of features, like CRM, document storage, signatures, payment processing - all under one "dome".

Cons

The number of clicks it takes to pull up information or to navigate. Sometimes, clicking a link takes you away from the screen you were on and it's takes too many clicks to get back to where you were originally. TD is improving every day so it's just a matter of time for this to no longer be an issue.

I have tried many tax-focused CRM and project management systems in the past. Taxdome has, by far, been the best choice of software we've made in at least 10 years.

Pros

The ability to track all of our clients' demographic information, the workflow automation, and organizers are making our life so much easier. We now have visibility as to where projects stand, there is a lot more automation of tasks, and it has made onboarding and kicking off tax projects much smoother. Our clients love the portals. In fact, I've had several clients comment on how user-friendly the portals are. That's never happened before.

Cons

Honestly, it's hard to think of any. I wish there was a better time-tracking platform and better reporting, although that is getting better by the day.

The best! I work with many CRM’s for my other businesses and never found one for the accounting industry, TaxDome is what helps me run my firm.

Pros

I love the that we can organize a workflow, add tags, keep up with work. I came from using Keap and Canopy tax, there is nothing like TaxDome. My clients love the portal.

Cons

I don’t find anything I least like, I would just like a few things added, the ability to upload docs into a clients portal from my phone and a bit more automation in the pipelines.

### "TaxDome for the win"

Overall I'm very happy with TaxDome and have no reason currently to look elsewhere for a similar product.

Pros

TaxDome simplifies everything for my tax firm and makes it easy to keep everything organized and consolidated. Clients also find it very user friendly (which is actually what matters more!). Locking invoices to returns is a huge plus.

Cons

Updates that occur sporadically and without warning, so that I may be working on something and the screen changes when I navigate away briefly (i.e. a new tab appears, or visually things are rearranged, etc.). This isn't a huge deal but it can be disruptive.

### "TaxDome makes my business and dealing with clients easier"

Love it. Can't see myself not having it.

Pros

I don't use the full functionality of TaxDome. I use it mostly to store and share files with clients, signature requests, and billing. It's been so easy to organize client files and bill/collect invoices. I also integrate the client portal login page into my website to streamline client access.

Cons

It can get complicated but thankfully there are tons of resources online and customer service if you need a personal touch overcoming an issue.

### "TaxDome, the helper that makes your job easier!"

Although we have not explored all the features yet, it actually has saved us a lot of time and has helped us control our clients better.

Pros

We like everything about TaxDome, but the most useful features to us so far are that is process based, the option to develope and handle our own website, the client's portal, the e-signature, and the option to connect with the tax software files.

Cons

It has been a little tricky to understand the difference between jobs, pipelines, tasks, and how we connect them to make the automove work for us.

I have been very pleased and feel I have only touched the tip of the iceberg in my usage. Each month I learn more and get a new appreciation for this tool I have.

Pros

The ease of movement to keep up with our busy office. Mostly, I appreciate the staff they employ to help us when we need to create or solve a new movement in our system pipeline.

Cons

The cost. I have a large staff, and even with some registered with three-year licenses, which reduces the cost from the monthly fees, it is expensive.

### "Great for client tracking with emails and document and data management"

Pretty good, it does what I need - helped me solve client onboarding and document management/portal/e-sign

Pros

Portal and document management when it comes to figuring out what a client has sent - the emails also are great because it gets sorted by client by email and will automatically add attachments to the clients folder. E-sign and proposals are also a nice all in one touch Workflow should be good but I have not yet figured that part all out - my main issue was getting clients to get me the info I need and to have some automatic reminders and organizers and a client portal

Cons

Pipeline is a bit hard to figure out - tad hard to use the document area when you are reviewing a tax return - often when you click the back button or close document it brings you back to the client list vs being back in the client folder that you were working in.

Pros

Ease of use and the ability to keep track of clients.

Cons

Too many new bells and whistles. Please concentrate on the current functionalities to ensure that they work well. Data security should be of primary importance.

TaxDome is integral to our daily operation.

Pros

TaxDome has enabled to reduce the size of our tech stack by consolidating functionality with TaxDome. Also, the document-locking functionality has helped reduce our A/R to $0.00.

Cons

The term "integrates" is used too loosely. Being able to print from a tax software application to the TaxDome is not an integration. The integration capability needs to be improved beyond the current state.

### "Tax Dome Review"

I really enjoy using Tax Dome and have no problems explaining to the clients over the phone how to upload to the portal.

Pros

The ease and use of the product. The ease of use between the client and us makes it easier to keep track of how their product is moving thru the pipeline. They (the client) can use the portal to see where there return is without having to call which makes it easier for them.

Cons

Adding multiple clients to 1 account. When there is a family, it is hard to get them all on the same account. In order for the couple to esign they both have to log in and on different emails

From the standpoint of someone coming from one of the top 50 firms in the USA to a small accounting office, it has all the bells and whistles you need to manage your client data.

Pros

I really like that it is easy to navigate. Also that you have so many options for data storage.

Cons

I really haven't found anything I do not like about it.
