### "Converting to Tax Dome - a user's experience"

While the setup for the various features of the program has taken a bit longer than expected the experience as we and our clients begin to utilize the program has been positive. Those clients that have utilized the program so far have indicated a much higher satisfaction and intuitive use of the program compared to our prior web portal, document management program.

Pros

The combination of web portal with a built-in client scanner, document management, workflow management, client communications, client billings and electronic signature combines all of the necessary features required for a modern electronic or virtual tax or accounting based practice.

Cons

The program is such a large sandbox, it would have been more efficiently incorporated into our practice if a structured and required training program was included with the subscription.

I have a very good feeling about the product and i am using it more extensively this year than last.

Pros

Customer access and communications all summarized in one area. Documents are secure and customers find it easy to use.

Cons

The pipeline creation was slightly difficult. I didn't feel there was enough support to get this easily done.

las interfaz es muy facil de usar ya que es predictiva! de igual forma para el cliente la aplicacion es sencilla

Cons

la conexion con Drake es muy mala. Hasta el momento no he podido enlazarlos, y los tutoriales no me han servido de mucho

At first I was apprehensive about using the software at my old employer, but after I learned how to actually use it, it was AMAZING! It meets all of my needs and allowed me to cancel other subscriptions to where it saved me money to switch. I would highly recommend

The ease and useability of the software. It also allowed me to cancel other subscriptions and have everything in one place

That you cannot edit an excel without downloading it first

### "Great CRM for a Tax Office"

TaxDome has been our client management tool for two years and overall we are happy with it. It integrates with QB but it doesn't with Xero, which we hope they do! Overall it's been a great tool for client management.

Pros

Organizers, client portal, documents management, easy to use and upload documents.

Cons

More flexibility/customization of user permissions. No integration with Xero.

### "Over all - a good system"

I believe this to be highly recommended as a secure portal for our customers. I think there are somethings that I would change but over all it is a good system.

Pros

I like the ease of being able to get confidential info to and from our customers. It is secure and I feel good that we offer the best service to our customers.

Cons

It logs us out all the time. We are only allowed two in the system at a time so we are being kicked out a few times a day.

Taxdome was a game changer when we transition in for our small practice. The level of communication and ease of use for our team and clients has allowed us to take on more clients without the extra hassle. We are very satisfied with having Taxdome as part of our TEAM.

Pros

Taxdome is easy to use internally for my team but also it has made it easy for clients to communicate and provide sensitive information.

Cons

Pricing is not structured to allow for just simple admin solutions that do not require the full functionality for those employees. Better options on pricing would be ideal.

I am still fairly new (only 5 months), but the Academy, new features that are always coming are very helpful.

Pros

Ease of use and chat support. Very user friendly and the email notification are helpful. Chat support is very responsive and knowledgeable.

Cons

That I cannot speak with a live person ever. It's frustrating to only talk through email or chat. No one ever answers the # provide.

Overall it's been great. I finished my first year as a sole practitioner, and now I'm starting my second. Really appreciate the software.

Pros

Great client portal, great client portal app, value for price, great support articles, good community, good task tracking system, good tax organizers, good engagement letters, they are always working on improving it and taking into account customer feedback, a bunch of other things.

Cons

Unscheduled downtime, bugs such as emails not being sent to client when they're suppose to be.

I use Tax Dome every day; it makes my work easy to manage.

Pros

Everything is in one place; emails, documents, returns, contact information. It makes it very easy to service our clients

Cons

Sometimes I can't print out of Tax Dome and other times I can. It would be nice if you could manipulate Excel spreadsheets in TD rather than having to download them. I wish when you created a new folder you could initially put it where you want it rather than having to move afterwards

Pretty good experience over all. not too much to complain about

Pros

The automations you can set up, and how the customer service is very quick to respond and help out.

Cons

that you cant send emails by contacts. Instead you can only send them by accounts. And their time keeping system

Positive overall, but have concerns about level of security of portal ... end to end encryption is needed.

Pros

User friendly. Chat. Multiple tabs/clients open.

Cons

No "send later" feature for chat. No ability to save draft of a chat message if need to leave the communications/chat page to look at something else in the client portal. Client details need to be entered multiple times for contact tab & account tab. Fees that are charged for receiving/processing payment through TD.

Pros

It really upped our game and streamlined a lot of our processes.

Cons

Not really a con, but there is a lot to learn. The system is very robust so there is a learning curve. They do have people that help you if you need it.

### "Helpful, Almost Perfect"

As a sole prop, this was a lifesaver and the cost was a no-brainer - with a firm now, I can't justify the cost per user when several users need minimal access. Overall a good experience - I just don't think every user needs to be $1,000.

Quick to promise new features, slow to deliver

Need recurring payments for CPA Charge. Has been a long time to use fully.
