### "My Perspective on TaxDome so far as a Scientist/ Entrepreneur"

Overall the experience has been great and we signed up for it annually so hopefully I can revisit this review after a full year of use.

Pros

The fact that everything in by business can be done on this platform makes our lives as entrepreneurs much easier. As they mention on the front page, why make your clients download all of the software you have in order for you to provide your service? Now, I have clients only downloading TaxDome for document upload and QBO for bookkeeping. Before they had to download different apps to upload their sensitive identification information through a separate app, communicate with us through another app and more. We don't use other apps as much either because of TaxDome (i.e. Trello, Clickup, and google drive).

Cons

There are a few page tutorials on TaxDome that appear in another language which makes learning the software that much harder, however, this occurs seldomly. Besides that, the project pipeline can be improved. The pipeline right now only allows to create a pipeline after tasks are made, rather than letting us create the tasks as we create the pipelines.

### "Finally! A Product for Our Firm That Replaces Several Apps and Allows Us To Grow"

Pros

TaxDome has a ton of features that are simply not available in similar products, or have to be added onto a subscription at a crazy cost. I love that everything is here, all in one place. No more clicking from one app to another during our crazy tax season.

Cons

I haven't come across anything in TaxDome that I would consider to be problematic or in need of improvement.

Liscio was twice the money and had less features. The salesman also didn't tell me till we almost signed up that e-signatures would cost an additional dollar PER signature! That would have skyrocketed our cost of doing business with Liscio as we have close to 600 clients, some of whom sign more than 1 document each year.

I am one person shop, this software is my personal assistant that I pay only once a year. All my repetitive messages, emails are sent to the clients without me moving a finger, Invoices and ELs sent the same way.Requests for drafts approvals, and invoice attachments are super critical to my cashflow.

Pros

The ease of use, the workflow that allows me to automate numerous respective tasks, saving me huge amount of time

### "Not perfect, still the best for a small firm"

Pros

Probably the best thing about TD is that it does so many things adequately. But the strongest feature is the workflow management and the way that it harmonizes with client communication---the synergy there is market-beating.

Cons

I am disappointed in the timekeeping function, especially the reporting. It seems like a very simple function compared to their sophisticated workflow functions. It is downright primitive. I also can't figure out whether it will really be usable as a CRM. They advertise that, but I'm not sure it can really replace even the most basic CRM.

### "Great and convenient Client Portal"

Overall great product. But their pricing policy changed significantly. I don't think it's fair to raise prices by 1/3 for both types of packages - Lite and Pro. Now they want you to pay $800 instead of $600 a year ago for a Pro package or lock into the 3-year contract with the one-off prepayment of $1,800. That's not a fair business model.

Pros

The Client Portal is very convenient. My favorite functionality is digital signing of the documents - no need to send the e-mails back and forth, scan signed documents and so on.

Cons

The integration with TaxAct Professional which I thought would be beneficial for my business, didn't work at all.

The support team has made our overall experience so far very good!

Pros

As we have just imported our clients into this program, I have to say that customer support provided by TaxDome is TOP NOTCH! The onboarding 1:1 sessions are SO HELPFUL and every team member has been so knowledgable, helpful and friendly! We are most excited about being able to eliminate multiple programs into one and to use the automated features.

Cons

We are still very new to the program, but I don't like that the notes don't automatically save. I've lost several notes already. In addition, it would be nice if some windows (notes, for example) could open in a small sub-window while tasks are being created from said notes on the same page.

### "Great features, great price"

The interface is a little confusing for me, but I think that will not be the case when I have everything up and running the way I want. I also think if you get permissions set up right for your staff, their interface would be simpler

Pros

Before I got licensed, I was using Canopy. When I rebranded my business, I decided to rebuild my tech stack from the ground up. TaxDome comes in at about 1/3 of the price of Canopy for me (I didn't even have all their features), and it has more functionality. The workflow interface is a Kanban-style board that lets you visualize where products are, and I find it much easier to review that Canopy, where they are just all lumped together as "tasks".

Cons

TaxDome takes a LONG time to get setup . . . but that's because there are so many great features, and it is to your advantage to use them all together. Be prepared to invest significant time crafting your templates, building your organizers, and planning your workflows ("pipelines" in TaxDome). However, if you do take the time to set these up (there is an online course that walks you through it, and they offer a video-conference onboarding session) I think you'll be thrilled with the results.

### "Tax Dome Customer Service"

So far TaxDome has been great. There are lots of articles, tools and lessons online. I had an issue with my profile while trying to purchase my license and the support I received was fantastic. Not only was support helpful, they cared and followed up with me until it was resolved.

Pros

I really like that tax dome has everything all in one spot. We can invoice, email, store documents all in one location within a client profile

Cons

Honestly, the price structure. I'd be happy to commit to paying the $600 for three years, but for cash flow, it is a big ask to outlay that amount of cash for several users.

I appreciate the customer service. I have been helped via online chat and this really does make a difference when I am stuck on something. The white-glove training is wonderful.

Pros

The lay out is user-friendly, and that fact that the desktop and cell/phone feature are the same is very good.

Cons

I cannot think of one thing at this time what I dislike. I may need to get training when I know more about ALL of the features.

I have only had one complaint, about uploading documents in the desktop upload folder. The dev team jumped right on it and should have it fixed soon!

### "Tax Dome"

Pros

The client portal and document management are the most important features for my company. I can organize my clients' documents easily, by year and category. For example, I created a folder for all of their current and previous years' tax returns. Every document is secure all fully accessible 24 hours a day.

Cons

I think obtaining electronic signatures can be improved, but the current way it's done isn't bad.

This is a tool that is generally used by professionals in accounting areas or for purposes, but it has functions that can be established for fiscal or even administrative sectors if you wish, this tool has functions that are easy to visualize and it has a version for desktop or mobile something that increases efficiency and adaptability

Cons

There are no features that I do not like. It is necessary to understand the functions and for whom this program is directed so that the functions are more adapted to the labor sector.

### "Still learning and looking forward to upcoming features"

So far, we are enjoying the software. We started to close to tax season, so we aren't implementing a lot of the features yet. Our biggest goal is to have a centralized location for everything instead of having multiple spreadsheets for practice management.

Pros

Tax Dome seems to have most of the features we were looking for and if they didn't have the feature it appears to be in the roadmap to add to the software. I really like the workflows, even though we have not implemented them yet.

Cons

It is not as customizable as I would like. I am hoping that this will improve as new features are added and updated. My biggest complaint is that the virtual drive cannot be synced in real time to a local drive, which does conflict with our ISP (Information Security Plan); we are copying and pasting into the local drive for now, but during tax season, especially, we have a lot of data that is changed constantly.

### "Change was needed"

My overall experience with TaxDome has been GREAT! This is because of there support team. I just simply open a chat communication when I have a quick question and they are normally able to point me in the right direction.

Pros

I came to this software because we can use zapier so that it can communicate with some of the other software that we use. I also like the fact that it has an app for our clients to use.

Cons

The software is expensive because you are paying per user. The more employees you have the more you are going to pay. Most software includes a certain amount of employees per price tier. This software does not integrate with the tax software to show the client there tax return status.

Thank you for your feedback. It is valuable to us. TaxDome is an all-in-one software, with a long list of features. Some of the main features we provide are: -unlimited cloud-based storage -free E-signatures -built-in PDF editor -a free website inside of TaxDome -free and unlimited customer support -free desktop ve mobile app TaxDome works as a printer and scanner for all tax software. The aforementioned desktop app is there to make the integrating process easier. By using TaxDome you already have everything you need at your fingertips. Once you subscribe to TaxDome, you can cancel a list of applications that you had to pay for, like the storage app, the app you use for signatures, your website host, etc. TaxDome has just one annual subscription fee, and everything is included in the price. The subscriptions for the team members do not have to be annual, they can be paid monthly as well.

### "Ottimo per la gestione della fiscalità "

Pros

TaxDome viene da noi utilizzata per la gestione fiscale online e ci consente di gestire la contabilità dei nostri clienti e di collaborar è con loro in modalità più efficace. Mi devo dire soddisfatta di questo software, in primo luogo la piattaforma intuitiva e facile da utilizzare, è ben progettata e permette di accedere rapidamente le funzioni principali. Quello che ho apprezzato di più è la sua capacità di semplificare la comunicazione tra professionisti della contabilità e clienti cosa che spesso è resa molto difficile da software diversi.

Cons

Non tutti i clienti si trovano bene con questo software e molti, preferiscono utilizzare altro. Qualora invece accettano l’utilizzo di questo, diventa davvero indispensabile. Nel complesso non ho grandi critiche da fare e mi sento di consigliarlo.

### "Wonderful Practice Management and Customer Management Tool"

Pros

I liked how easy it was once I got everything set up. I love being able to see at a glance how many jobs I have in each pipeline, then what stage they are at. Much better than an Excel spreadsheet. My clients love the document upload feature and the chat feature. Customer service is excellent!!!!!

Cons

It isn't superintuitive to set up the pipelines. It did take some trial and error, and working with it through one season to get the pipelines set up exactly how I wanted them.

### "Amazing Software for Tax Professionals"

This program saved me a ton of time during the tax season and I was able to make a lot more money based on the workflows and the ease of getting a return done - from start to finish.

Pros

The item I like most is the workflows - this gives me the options to set each client up based on their needs and how my office processes returns.

Cons

I had a very hard time setting up the templates for the workflows/pipelines - this is ALOT of work - thankfully I was able to hire someone to help me with this process.

Reason for choosing TaxDome

I chose TaxDome based on what I needed for my office - it offers several different type of workflows that can be set up to meet the individuals clients needs - therefore it helped my create workflows in my office that I desperately needed to manage my client load.

### "So Far So Good"

So far, I am happy. I just imported my \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] clients and it was fairly easy.

Pros

I love the ease of the client portal. It is not clunky. Also, my clients like apps. This is new, but I am happy so far.

Cons

I'm on day 2 of my trial period. Haven't had enough use of the product to say what is my least favorable feature.

Reason for choosing TaxDome

Did not consider an alternate product because tax season had already begun.
