### "Third Time's a charm"

It's been very very good. Great product for the price, for sure.

Pros

We've used Sharefile, SmartVault, and now TaxDome. The integrations with signatures, as well as invoicing has been great. Clients are quite happy with their end of the portal.

Cons

We're still figuring out a lot of the features. We are struggling to get automatic billing to work.

Pros

Use was easy. Having all the tasks within one software makes it very easy to be more productive.

Cons

It was hard getting used to the particular button clicks to use tax dome.

### "Tax dome helped saved my sanity during 2021 tax preparation!"

I purchased TaxDome late in 2020, but never really got the hang of pipelines. I thought I would just use it as a portal for my clients. Once I learned how to implement the pipelines it made tax season so much easier. 2021 was a beast of a tax season for so many reasons. TaxDome made it easier to identify which clients needed to be updated about the tax changes made mid-season. it also allowed me to keep track of my workload and took so much of the back office tasks off my plate. I think it saved my sanity - without it I would have worked so much harder and so many more hours and have been so much more stressed.

Pros

TaxDome allows me to keep track of my workflow all in one place. It also allows me to set up a client in the workflow and automatically moves them to the next stage when they complete a requested task. TaxDome are so responsive to feature requests for improvement.

Cons

It took a while to get started and I had to pay for additional training to make it all click together for me, but I can forgive that as the price for the software is so reasonable and the benefits were so huge.

So far, with my limited experience of less than a month, I'm happy. It functions as I expected and isn't overwhelming with features that I do not need or want.

Pros

This is easy to set up and easy for clients to use. It allows you to see everything in one place and save documents all in one place.

Cons

I can't think of anything other than when you open a window, for a message, it opens another tab in your browser and then you have to close all of the tabs when you want to log out. Not a deal breaker at all.

### "TaxDome for my tax practice"

Positive. Even the learning curve, and I'm a sole prop working from home, SAHWM if you will, with limited tech experience, and with the learning videos I've been having a time setting it up myself. The set up process is helping me also to be organized in my work overall

Pros

This feature combined 4 other programs I wanted to use into one and for a very competitive price. These two things sold me on the program. Not to mention its ease of use and how the information is presented.

Cons

It does take a while for each page to load. That is really the only downside I've found. I hope that can be fixed!

It is the same cost as my DocuSign subscription with 100 times the features. I will be more organized and prepared for tax season.

### "Combines several systems into one"

One great benefit is being able to send mass emails to clients. In the past, some email providers would block our emails thinking we were sending out spam because of sending many emails in the same day. I'm still learning the system more and more every day but so far it's a great benefit to have all information in one system. Many of my clients are already using the portal and love this benefit. Overall positive experience.

Pros

This program will help me combine several of the systems I've been using into one. I will be able to cancel some of the other monthly services I pay for because I can do the same functions through Taxdome.

Cons

The only thing so far I don't totally like is there are features the clients can't use unless they create a login. I'm expecting some of my older clients won't create a login and I will still have to send some items through outside email. Also I like that clients can pay their invoice through Taxdome but it would be nice if Taxdome could somehow link to my current credit card processing instead of now having two.

Although I've only been using the free trial of TaxDome, I am loving the platform, and the automations that are available. I like that it is an all-in-one platform for all types of needs in servicing clients.

Cons

It can take a little while to truly understand the difference between the pipelines, templates, and jobs. But once they are understood, it makes sense and is a great product.

I like how this is an all in one product and I wish I had gone with this the first time instead of the program I was using.

Pros

I like that the software guides you through the setup process and offers a full 2-week trial so you can test out everything. I am still learning the software but it has met a lot of my needs so far. I also like how many templates that are available to customize.

Cons

I do not like that you cannot do some easy functions like copying folder templates or copying some of the templates. It makes setup a bit longer to have to create the same template multiple times to make simple modifications.

Switched from

SmartVault is very clunky and they decided to hike up their prices for no reason so as a single user it was not beneficial to stay.

### "All-In-One Alternative for CRM/Practice Management System"

My experience during the trial version was a little intimidating at first, but once I completed the demo, reviewed the Q&A, and watch the tutorials, I felt much better about implementing the software.

Pros

There are several features that are very helpful with making day-to-day operations easier such as: the E-signature feature within the portal, communicating with my clients within the portal, the instant support chat feature, client portal/app, & the modernized user interface.

Cons

I wish there were 3 additional features: (1) A view-only feature where I can limit print & download access to my contracted bookkeepers. I think this is very important in order to help ensure the privacy of our clients' information. (2) I also wish there was a calendar view feature where we can see all tasks that are coming due in a calendar-like format. (3) A cheaper monthly option for our contracted bookkeepers who only works on a per job basis & would only access the portal as needed.

Reason for choosing TaxDome

It was a pretty tough decision because of the price, but I chose TaxDome because I felt it had just about everything I needed in a CRM system compared to the other products & I also like that we are able to give input in order to get new features (hopefully we'll see the view-only feature soon!).

Overall, TaxDome has been a cost-effective and worthwhile solution to the majority of our CRM and automation needs.

Pros

Integration is a bit cumbersome to understand at first; however, once you get the hang of it you realize how wide the windows of opportunities are.

Cons

The only complaint we have is the inability to customize the client dashboard (resize/reorder headers).
