### "Simple and easy to use all-in-one accounting and tax software"

Pros

Having all processes interconnected makes our life easy. Once a tax file is uploaded to the client's folder, a job is triggered, an E-Mail is sent and an invoice generated - all automatically. Previously this would mean 15 minutes of work in three different platforms, now everything is done in one automatically in seconds.

Cons

I couldn't find anything to complain about. I see it more as a learning curve on how to operate the software but so far nothing has been bad.

### "Customizable and Full of Features We Were Looking For!"

Just getting started but looking forward to improved communications and data collection from Clients.

Pros

I like the customizable Organizers, Mailbox+ and the Workflow Automation options from the firm side and the Messaging with To Do lists and white labeled app/portal from the client side.

Cons

Two way sync with Quickbooks would make invoicing more useful and there are some small tweaks that would make building Pipelines easier, such as an option of "And" or "Or" in conditional tagging.

It has been a great experience thus far

Pros

I love that every thing I need is in one convenient place you can onboard clients, facilitate the tax prep process by allowing clients to upload documents easily and securely. Being able to easily secure signatures and process payments and have the ability to follow up on that automatically is a God send.

Cons

Everything is great there are no real negatives

I love how secure this software is. I used to pick up tax documents in person, but now I'n glad it saves me so much time since clients can send everything virtually. I love the workflow processes, and again, I love how secure this is.

Pros

I love how easy it is to use this software! I love that it integrates with my current payment processor, Stripe, so no need to create a new account. I also love the built in contracts because now I don't have to spend more money on contracts elsewhere.

Cons

I wish taxdome offered monthly subscriptions instead of annual. I think it would be helpful for those still deciding whether they want to pursue tax or bookkeeping in the long run, with no commitment.

### "The best solution I've found for small practice"

My head has been swirling with all of the different options for different softwares in a distributed firm tech stack, and this simplifies so much of that. I went from shopping for 12 different softwares to 4. The value for the price is insanely good.

Pros

This software is incredibly comprehensive - an impressive amount of features. Had I found this sooner I could have cut another $1,000 a year in software out of my stack. It's so seamlessly integrated and the price is remarkable for value.

Cons

I have not run across something I have a problem or concern with yet.

### "TaxDome does not disappoint"

Excited to use it and get out of the free trial. Eager to have my client send me documents in the portal. It helps small business owners present a professionalism that were not available before, only the big firms had the revenue to provide portals to clients.

Pros

I like that it has so much built in to reduce a lot of tech stacks. Which make getting the work done easier.

Cons

It is very robust, I need a course to teach me how to use it. Only a Con beginning once I master the platform this will be a Pro and no Cons.

I believe this software is going to be a central fixture of my virtual organization for a long time.

Pros

workflow and organizers is where I started, but there are many other features. I like that I can from the beginning at client setup, have a workflows that interact with the client before I have to actually talk and interact with the client. I have enough information to get started and determine what questions I need to discuss and what their needs are.

Cons

sharing of templates and workflows with others, that would be a great feature to add.

I wish I had more trial time to get it set up and be sure. I signed up and forgot to use the referral code, but there was no way for the customer support to update it so that the person who referred me could get credit for spending time showing me how they use it.

FRUSTRATING!!! Example: Website is included with software purchase. Great. Provided content and asked for website. No, please provide authorization in your software. Great - authorizations provided 2 months ago. Oh, sorry, you missed 1 authorization (of 4). "We cannot complete website." Just impossible to know all the toggles that are "off" be default.

Pros

The many features look great - no need for many stand alone options currently in use (eg Secure File, possibly invoicing).

Cons

TERRIBLE to navigate. Example: Added a Client, added client's email address in contact info - linked the two together then tried to send e-mail. Not possible. Permissions must be turned on! 30 minutes learning for a 2 minute email ?? Here's Customer Support's Answer to "how to send email" When you manually created a contact first then created an account next then added the contact you created to the account you're creating, you'll have an option to toggle on the 3 toggles: Login, Notify, and Email Sync. You can check more details here. You'll have this option when you imported your accounts and contacts as well. Check the details here. But if you haven't had this option when creating your account and contact, you have to visit each of your account's info tab and turned on the email sync toggle from there. Click this link for more details.

Chose TaxDome over alternative products because of the Automation. BTW, it's not possible to trial the automation - must pay full price (for a year!) to trial

### "Great Software for Tax Season!"

It has been great, I did a lot of research to find the best software that fit for me and my business and this is a great option to keep everything organized and bill clients in one place.

Pros

The ability to have clients create a portal to upload their documents and have access to tax returns. You can bill clients from this software and it connects to my Quickbooks.

Cons

The lack of aesthetics when it comes to organizing tasks. I would like to see all my pipelines on one dash board where I can sort by importance and due dates, having each client represent represent either a different color or the pipeline have a different color. There is no option to sync meetings and meeting notes. There is no section for permanent information for a client, such as log in to state websites to file Franchise taxes. I cannot put a complete date on each task or when it was viewed out touched last. There is also no App for the owner, and I would love to have access to my company information on my phone without having to open a web browser.

Reason for choosing TaxDome

The features and integrations that it included made the pricing reasonable. There is no added price to additional features which is just annoying with other companies.

Overall, support has been great and I like the platform.

Pros

I really like the workflow set up with the pipelines, and think it will make keeping track of our large volume of clients much easier. It's great having our portal, e-signing, and CRM all in one place, and having the portal link on our website. We are looking forward to trying out our first TaxDome tax season.

Cons

I wish there was a way to run printable revenue reports, and other reports using client data, or to filter them by tag. I think it will take staff a little while to learn the platform well.
