Pros

I love how easy it has been to learn the product and the ability to move my information and clients information from my form software.

Cons

Only con is that I cannot use authorize.net with this program.

Pros

I like that the software is easy to use and that there is an abundance of help videos/articles to guide you through the onboarding process.

Cons

I wish that I could pay monthly instead of yearly. It would help those of us that are starting new practices with a small amount of capital.

The overall experience has been overwhelming in a good way. Overwhelming that the software does so much, and in a good way because I am overwhelmed actually from not having to open so many other software's to complete a client's tax return. It feels like the same as going to different items to open, just emotionally because it actually is not what I am doing! Weird, lol...

Pros

I love the fact that the software is all encompassing. TaxDome is a one-stop shop for client communication, invoicing, docushare, e-sign, what more could you ask for?

Cons

There are so many features that I cannot keep up, but I do not believe that is a bad thing. Once I am fully learned of the software, I will be using it with record speed timing, versus the time that it takes me as a new user.

The TaxDome software prevented from having to buy a client portal, client communication portal separate, and e-sign separate service.

### "Pretty Good so far"

This is helping me to streamline my tax practice. I like that I can have everything in one place and I can see the progress of each tax return. I haven't tried it for my bookkeeping practice so I'm looking forward to see how it improves my business.

Pros

I like that my clients have a portal where they can retrieve all their documents. Also, that they can message me from the app.

Cons

I've only been using it for about a month so I'm putting together a list of things I would like to see. The first one is for a welcome e-mail to go out the same time that the portal activation e-mail goes out. This way it looks legit and they client has all the steps in one e-mail.

You can actually enable a questionnaire for new clients that are getting portal access. Based on the answers to those questions they can get automatically added to a Pipeline that would have a welcome email automation. This way they would receive a welcome email as soon as they're done signing up. I love the app and have not run into any problems on the client side so far. Easy to use. A lot of options.

Cons

Invoicing is okay. Still not ready to leave Quickbooks. Workflow is still a little hard to understand

### "Time to streamline..."

So far, okay. The trial run isn't enough time to really test the program thoroughly and customer service is not live so a bit difficult to get questions answered immediately for my decision making process.

Pros

This replaces 3 other applications currently in use for a 1-stop shop.

Cons

I am confused about the recurring jobs vs. tasks. Jobs are recurring so I'm not sure why we can only make the tasks recurring. We also have clients with multiple contacts within the organization and we don't want to give every contact full access to every folder for the client. I am disappointed that we can't assign user rights to specific folders on the granular level. Finally, I would like the option to add "Exhibits" or "Addendums" to template contracts we have pre-built in the system before sending them. Food for thought development team!

### "Definitely an asset to move the business to remote services"

This year saw many changes in the way that our business interacted with our client base. Remote preparation and delivery became necessary to keep our business afloat. Tax Dome definitely has all the boxes checked in terms of tools to make the transition happen. E-signature, client portal, mobile app, billing, etc. And the price is unbeatable for the value provided, Cheers!

Pros

Love the pre-built file structure(although it does take getting use to). Easy e-signatures great organizer function, and I found it quite easy to create my own organizers. I am impressed with the ability to lock up a file until payment, that would have come in handy in the past! ;)

Cons

Getting used to the platfrom does take some time. The private vs public vs client folders are a little rigid in their functionality.

I can honestly say, I do not have any issues with TaxDome that needs to be solved. Customer Service was polite, friendly, and very helpful, They took their time to make sure I understood each features and it's process. I had a couple of customer Service Rep go over the time limit which lasted 2 hours. He wanted to make sure I understood everything before he hung up.

Pros

User friendly, App for clients, unlimited signature, invoice, payment all with in one. I was able to cancel 3 softwares because of all in one.

Cons

It does not have virtual chat, appointments, and not able to use your own payment provider. I would love to see these features added on, it would definitely complete an all in one.

Supporto davvero presente e disponibile, il motivo principale nel scegliere questa soluzione secondo il mio parere.

Pros

un gestionale di studio adatto per tutte le esigenze per pratiche da avviare in studio ma soprattutto per quelle a distanza. ottime funzionalità il questionario da far compilare ai clienti e la pianificazione di studio delle pratiche da svolgere. Una chat interna e una integrazione con le email di studio. Spero integreranno presto le funzionalità che ora mancano ma che renderebbero il prodotto fantastico.

Cons

la piattaforma e l'app non vengono date in whitelable allo studio. la mancanza per il momento di pagamenti ricorrenti, fatturazione elettronica integrata e la firma elettronica avanzata. tutti servizi che al momento vanno acquistati esternamente aumentando cosi i costi. Fiducioso però che verranno inserite tutte entro la fine di quest'anno.

Very good. Still learning the system but so far it is great

Pros

This is a an excellent practice management platform, loaded with features and pleasant to look at. I was using Karbon and then Monday before settling on TD.

Cons

Would be nice to customize column headings in some of the views

Reason for choosing TaxDome

Method was only a CRM and didn't work well for workflow, QBO Accountant was messy to look at and didn't have as many features.

Pros

The ability improved efficiency by being able to create automated workflows helps to stay on top of tasks with spending a significantly less amount of time. Also, the ability organize client communications throughout the firm helps management to identify work areas or clients that may need attention.

Cons

I would like to see more integration features, such as integration with quickbooks desktop. As well as a way to export the staff's time for payroll purposes.

I have been using a fragmented system to try and coordinate document gathering, tax organizer distribution, engagement letter collection, and billing which has become been more and more frustrating every year.

Pros

The integration of several systems I was using to collect and disseminate information to clients.

Cons

the charge for e-signatures. Was hoping that it was part of the annual fee.

Hi Gary! Thanks for the review. E-signatures (what you would expect from DocuSign) are unlimited and fully included - there is no fee. KBA is available as an added option ($1) and KBA is ALWAYS a paid fee because an outside credit agency has to be paid. If you are ever not paying for KBA, it is not real KBA. Cons

My existing client list import wasn't quite as clean as I had hoped, but nearly all the data was retained. It might be a user error.

Pros

Client portal feature and client management. I like having one place with all the information for my firm.

Cons

I feel like the file management is a bit clunky. You should be able to add a new folder to an existing folder easily. As of now you have to add a new folder, then move it to an existing folder.
