### "Everything in one place"

Pros

I love that a practice can replace multiple subscriptions with one solution. I have used this software with partners that I work with and now am adapting it for my own practice.

Cons

Initially, the document management was tough to use. But, the development team has made great improvements to this and is always responding to user feedback to make the program better.

There is a bit of a learning curve, but once you set it up, everthing works great.

Pros

The workflow is what every tax preparer needs to save time.

Cons

It still needs to be able to send SMS or Text from the program.

So far I am impressed.

Pros

The ease of the software to get started. Customer Service scheduling was easey as well

Cons

Customer Service should have a direct line for clients of TaxDome to call in order to get real time questions answered instead having to setup an appointment. The time waiting to get schudeled to have recieve an answer could cost me a client!

### "All-In-One Solution"

I'm a tax preparer, who also does Tax Resolution, Business Registrations, and Bookkeeping, but this helps me to keep track of all my task

Pros

Its a cloud based solution at an affordable price, with all the features needed to make my work easier

Cons

The are a few options that can get confusing, and there's only the option to use stripe, but I use QB payments and can't integrate it with the software. Also the way to report payments is kind of confusing.

Pros

We like to communicate with client and keep them updated regarding the status of their project, and sometimes we get busy and fall behind. It's good that this software will provide automatic updates as the tax return moves throughout our workflow stages.

Cons

The fees are high, but it's worth it. The fact that it's web based is very convenient.

### "So glad to have discovered TaxDome"

We are trying to go paperless in our tax office, so tons of storage in cloud really helps that endeavor. We also needed to cut the time needed to respond to clients' constant requests for copies, and the client portal with unlimited storage solves that problem as well. We needed a way for clients to send us dox in a standardized format, rather than using 15 different apps...so TaxDome solves that problem. In addition, as owner and the person that assigns tasks, I desperately needed tax practice management software. We are still new at this, so have not perfected all of this part yet....but we feel sure that this is the solution we were looking for.

Pros

BIGGEST plus is a totally secure client portal for sharing sensitive data. They also offer unlimited storage, which is not typical at all....so we are able to store multiple years of clients data in the cloud....which saves us time and money when clients need extra copies later.

Cons

There are MANY ways of tracking clients and projects, which can be confusing when first getting rolling

Price was better than most other options. Solutions addressed all of my concerns in a user-friendly environment....so PICKING this software was not a difficult decision

### "Superior product for price"

Still early in the game but I expect to have a very organized and efficient tax season. That's the goal.

Pros

So many things Iike about taxdome but one of the most important would be to send tasks or to do items to clients and track it until completed.

Cons

I'm a small practice. I have some very part time employees who help me. Pricing is a bit high for me to add them. Though I will be adding employees who work 2/3+ time.

### "Just Getting Started & Love It So Far"

Pros

I like the automations to make the administrative tasks more efficient so I can spend more time on paid client work. I also like that I can tie an invoice to a tax return so I get payment at the time the return is delivered. It saves me time chasing A/R.

Cons

Getting everything set up the way I want is intense & time consuming.

Tax Dome will provide a secure and user friendly method to work with clients. It will help solve our problem of sharing information and documents with staff and clients.

Pros

We decided to use Tax Dome because of the features it offered. The client portal seems to meet a lot of our needs for client management, document management, and communications.

Cons

We are still in the setup stage and working to use all the features available so currently there are no cons.

Pros

I like how easy it is to add multiple contacts to the same account(s). My customer tell me how easy it is to active, upload and sign/approve returns.

Cons

I have not found one yet. So far there is none.

Pros

Defiantly a great portal for clients to upload their docs and get firm prepared documents.

Cons

Pro version at $900 was more than I needed. Had serious conversion issues moving from PRO to LITE. (client records). If you go from LITE to PRO its 1 click.

I have solved my business' problem of sending sensitive information securely.

Pros

I was looking for a secure way to send documents back and forth with my clients and TaxDome was the solution.

Cons

I felt like figuring out how to load documents that required signatures was not clear so I did not take advantage of that feature during the trial.

### "What I Have Been Searching For"

Customer service is amazing.

Pros

This software is pretty much everything I have been looking for. Being able to message clients within an app that isn't clunky is amazing. We were trying to work with Asana but everything for us was a workaround. This is made for tax professionals and while I still need to customize it to our needs - it is almost there.

Cons

There is a learning curve but that is with all software! I am having trouble figuring out how to do ad-hoc projects or tasks that aren't in a pipeline but I think that is by design or I just haven't figured out how to do it yet.

As for the payment plan, we understand your concern, but we have to emphasize that TaxDome replaces multiple applications/programs, and we think that the pricing is quite fair. One of the reasons is that we are providing unlimited storage to our subscribers and storing the data for them. Even if the subscription was canceled, the data will be locked waiting for the subscriber to return. For this reason, one subscription for all users would not be reasonable. ### "Incredible Features for the Price"

Very positive, from the chat, to the demo conversation and the help videos. I find it fairly easy to use.

Pros

The automation features and client app. Also, locking your tax return with the invoice is exactly what wee needed. No more Accounts Receivable to collect!

Cons

At this moment there is nothing I do not like. I´m certain it is not perfect but, you will only get out of it what you put in. We plan to learn thoroughly how to use the automation part.

Cons

We're still in discovery but already the names in the client screen seem to be clipped for sizing. Would be great to be able to expand there like in an excel column?

### "Love TaxDome! "

There is definitely a learning curve, but if you take the time to learn the product... WOW! Our workflow is so manageable and trackable now. We have been very impressed with it all.

Pros

I love the workflow automations and that the product is geared toward tax firms - although I think you could use it in any industry. I also appreciate their commitment to constantly improving and evolving as their customers' needs change.

Cons

There are some things that seem simple to fix/do and just aren't- just like in all software. From the user side we say "I wish it didn't send an email/notification for this" ...
