We have used the platform for process improvement in consultancy services. Asking to the crowd has given us agility to evolve as an organization.

Pros

The taxonomy of the platform helps to the distribution of the idea concepts, and the challenges functionality is very helpful to run quick ideation challenges around the selected business aspects, obtaining a big amount of ideas and some focused solutions to the specified problem. The ideas evolution workflow, as it is defined, facilitate that the ideas with more potential, chosen by the crowd and the experts, move forward the innovation funnel, which helps the c-suite labour of making informed decisions.

Cons

We have oriented the crowd work to obtain quick wins with big ROI and simple implementation. But when we have searched for disruptive innovation, we have not achieved promising results.

As an agency, we have used the customer cocreation communities of ideas4all Innovation / Universe with some of the brands we work with. Crowdsourcing has given them insights from their market and fresh ideas for their product sales, packaging or design, marketing campaigns...

Pros

‘Universe’ provides a valuable channel to brands for getting consumers insights at great scale and low budget. The software creates a collective intelligence around the brand, which reflects the consumers and market needs. Brands establish a new way of relation with its customers, based on cocreation and participation, accessing to new ideas and raw material that they can develop internally. Plus, customers reinforce their engagement with the brand, specially among collectives like the millenials.

Cons

The implementation of the community, needs from a previous planification from the customer and supplier, which makes you loose some agility compared with another marketing campaigns.

Universe has proved its efectiveness in our change management process, helping us to move from an opaque organization with a silo knowledge distribution to another based on collaboration, transparency and cocreation. It has also helped to inoculate intrapreneurship and innovation skills as a part of the organization DNA.

Pros

The Ideas4all Innovation innovation management software has given us more agility to outcome with new projects and work dynamics. Crowdsourcing and real time participation, with the stimulous of several gamification resources, has increased the employee engagement, improving our ENPS. The continuous launching of ideation challenges has reduced the aversion to risk. Everyone shares their ideas, with no hierarchical obstacles, fostering transparency, collaboration and talent recognition

Cons

As any change management processes, to obtain results gets time. But it has helped us to get a quick big picture about the organization starting situation and paralysing status quo.

We have had a good experience using Universe. We have achieved more collaboration from stakeholders like our providers, and discovered new ways of improving the customer engagement with our pharmacies net.

Pros

The software provides agility to be connected in real time with our suppliers, covering in a reliable way some of our daily needs and showing up new ideas from different areas such as sales or customer experience.

Cons

Our map of collaborators is very fragmented. Even when a technological tool helps to fill this gap, sometimes its difficult to on board all the implied collectives in to the community. Some of them also suffer a technological skills gap that complicates their on boarding process.

We have used ‘Universe’ for more than a year to capture insights from our business database. Its a modern and reliable channel to know more about your audience. Plus, the crowdsourcing gives you valuable insights about your industry and market trends, displacing old fashioned resources like polls or focus groups.

Pros

‘Universe’ provides a collaborative, digital environment to catch up valuable insights from big audiences. The cocreation and participation mechanics are focused on the value creation, searching for concrete ideas further than other content units that are typically used in traditional online communication channels, such as comments or mere arguing among users. The self-refinement of the ideas in their early stages also provides a component of agility to foster their develop in tangible goods and results.

Cons

We missed the option of providing contextual contents around the platform contests with the aim of increasing the focus of the users participation around the organization goals.

We trusted in ideas4all Innovation to develop an ideation proccess inside the institution. 'Universe' allowed us to involve different university collectives such as students, teachers, alumni... in the quick cocreation of proposals for the cocreation of the university of the future.

Pros

Its a modern communication channel based on reciprocity. The community allows you to practise active listening with different collectives, fostering collaboration among them. We consider this very usefull in the educational environment, where collaboration and the debate around ideas has been an axial concept along centuries. It also allows you to stablish a new approach to engage collectives like the millenials.

Cons

Although the UX is clear and simple, the participation process can be more opaque to some collectives with less digital skills, like old alumni or the professorate.

We have been using Universe for +3 years to expand our innovation limits with the ideas from the crowd. Overall, our experience with the software cover our expectatives, identifying disruptive, creative and moving ideas from crowdsourcing to nurture our marketing campaigns and give value to the brands we work with.

Pros

It has taught us that there is no only inner talent, as you can go out of your limits to foster innovation with the ideas from a lot of people. In that sense, we discovered a very powerful tool to detect and evaluate 'out of the box' proposals, some of them very innovative. The software innovation funnel and the ideas life cycle help you so much to discard the less valuable ideas and concentrate in the good ones.

Cons

Wisdom of the crowds doesnt always mean good ideas. Sometimes, you have to search for a golden nugget among a big number of ideas, but it is fair to say that some of them gets refined automatically by the own community as the software is very focused in the cocreation value, and the good you get, gives you a cutting edge competitive advantage.

We can describe a good experience in the editorial industry, using the community to engage massive users / big audiences around the ideation about trendy topics.

Pros

A very tuned resource to nurture your organization of valuable market insights from any industry. Good user experience, that foster the interactions among users and the sense of community. The challenges functionality allow you to catch very focused ideas about strategic topics. There are no barriers for participation, and the provider communication consultancy service gives you a good hand to achieve your tailored ideation goals.

Cons

The presence of fixed elements in the community and its interface. The provider justification to this is the scalability of the product. Anyway, their customer satisfaction team always try to provide valuable alternatives to any given use case. Plus, some ad hoc developments can be arranged occasionally.
