The VersiPOS team made our switch over SO SMOOTH. We had been using another system at Portland Meadows for many years that just wasn't getting the job done. After moving locations and switching to VeriPOS we have enjoyed a much better experience with our new POS system. The price, the quality, and service to has been top notch. We are very happy to have made the switch and look forward to a long relationship with this product. Highly recommenced to other businesses looking for a new POS. By far, this is the best system we have used. I would say software glitches are inevitable, but the customer service team with VersiPOS are seriously amazing. When we started using the system we had some difficulties with screens and printers. VersiPOS’ team is very knowledgeable and dependable, they worked with us closely to fix glitches that came up the first few days after switching systems (which, in my experience, is never easy to understand when you don’t know much about technology. But their whole team was able to clearly explain and identify all issues! Practically immediately!) Turned out, our terminals were pretty much ancient and just needed to upgrade a bit. Once we did, we have had NO issues at all with any part of the system. I am so thankful to have come across and partner up with this company that truly cares and goes above and beyond for their customers. As a restaurant manager, dealng with technical problems is not (at all) my expertise- and you know what, doesnt have to be!! VersiPOS takes great care of us and has taught me a lot actually. Thankful for your whole team, really awesome people, really awesome technology!! Thank you!! Pros Customer service is my favorite part of this company. But the software itself is great, easy to use and easy to work with back end- adding new items, customizing reports is all very clear and simple! Pros So far I like every thing about this product. Easy to use, best thing is the support. I make a phone call and there is a person there, not a machine. Every one is very friendly Cons so far I have no Cons. Versitouch started as a home grown small business that has stood the test of time, navigating major market shakeups like recessions and tech booms ... all under the premise that they never stopped delivering a simple, cost effective, stable product that does what you need it to and by taking care of your needs in a timely fashion along the way. Pros I've been in the restaurant biz for over 25 years and have worked with many different Point Of Sale (POS) systems. Versitouch has always stood out at the top, far and away from the rest, as a very stable, simple, logical platform for the restaurant to function from. There are some older well established systems that simply weren't written with the proper logic to function for a server or bartender's needs (read: some tech nerds in a office somewhere deciding how the system splits a check or modifies a salad to light ranch and sub blackened chicken never ends well when you are slammed in a busy restaurant) These systems are just a nightmare from the server being able to manage their ordering properly, to the bizarre reports that are able to be run by the manager/owners .. but more importantly the types of reports that are NOT able to be run to effectively analyze your business. Clearly NO ONE who has EVER managed a small business decided on what type of reporting is available. There are some slick new systems that are amazingly hip and come from an amazing marketing team. The software is put together very cheaply, there are so many corners cut and overly simplified they again are totally flawed upon trying to execute difficult needs. Started with a used system. I've had such good luck for all of these years. Finally hooked up with President & CEO, a year ago. Switched my credit card processing to Versi. Updated my system. Versi's team of professionals updated all of my software remotely. Rep like a charm. I have since purchased a 5 mini ipad wifi system to take orders & process credit cards right at the table. System has worked flawlessly since the day it was installed. I am incredibly happy with my system & with the overall support of Versi Pos. Highly Recommend. Pros Easy to use, easy to understand, easy to teach system to others.
