Cons The $30/month/user fee difference between the solo plan ($9/month) to the next tier. I feel that my clients' information is secure, the price is good. It is easy to implement and use. Cons I don't have many cons about it. I like the fact that we add documents on the main profil or in the individual projects Pros Easy to use among colleagues for work, helps improve the performance of our management, and provides a good overview of the status of our projects. Also, the desktop app means there’s no need to connect everything through Chrome, Firefox, etc. Cons Not easy to create projects, even less so the templates. Pros What I like most about Financial Cents is the ease of viewing progress on shared projects when collaborating with colleagues. Still in the setup phase but of all the workflow tools, FC seems to have ticked most of the boxes. Pros Very intuitive to setup, love that they have a transparent roadmap shared. Nice security features and passwordless login with channels to communicate so you don't have to send message to everyone at the same time. Cons they do not have a mobile app yet so it makes adoption for clients harder. I would have loved to see one so that clients can message on demand easier. June 30, 2025 5.0 Pros Financial Cents has been an awesome tool for our brand new firm just getting off the ground. The platform is sleek, easy to use, and the included client portal has been a huge help as we get rolling. We are using the billing and proposal features as well, and for a small firm it has been great to have everything in one place. Cons There are some functional tweaks that could happen in some of the newer features (proposals, billing, etc.) that will help with using those tools more effectively. However, it's clear from the Facebook group and emails that FC is constantly improving and really considering the feedback from users. Excited to see what's next! I'm still relatively new to the software but appreciate that it works with other softwares well. Pros Allows for the team to communicate in a single place related to each project. This helps a lot in saving time and not losing track of information. Cons It takes a while to master the different capabilities of the software. When issues arise it takes a while to get support. Pros I love the integration of all aspects of the client - email, proposals, engagement letters, billings, tasks (my team and client team), document sharing, time tracking, utilzation, integration with QBO. Cons AI-driven support at first, but when you need an agent, they've been helpful. New features can be basic at first, but they are receptive to input and they keep improving. The task templates save time by allowing easy duplication and minor adjustments for different clients. Adding tasks is seamless, with new lines created automatically as I type, and the time-tracking tool helps monitor project efficiency. I also appreciate its integration with QuickBooks Online, allowing for categorization of transactions and syncing updates. Features like SMS reminders and integrations with Calendly further enhance productivity. While it lacks a client mobile app and text scheduling and has an onboarding fee, Financial Cents offers excellent tools that make managing client work easier and more efficient. Pros It integrates QBO Uncategorized transactions, allowing for the categorization in FC and syncs to QBO. Uncategorized Transactions can be sent to clients through FC. It offers a "Magic Link" for Client Tasks. Clients can receive SMS reminders for pending tasks. It integrates with Calendly, QBO and other software. It has a built-in proposals feature. Cons They do not have a mobile app for clients. The proposal feature is still being worked on. We cannot schedule text messages through FC. There is an onboarding fee. You have to pay for E-Signature through Adobe. Pros The template provided are great to start and easy to modify for each client. It allows for project collaboration and document. Customer support has been extremely responsive, and while simple to use there are many features that make the process easier. It makes my work a lot easier and more efficient. It also makes sure I don't miss anything Pros I like how effective the task management features are. It's easy to filter my view to show me what needs to be worked on immediately. I also like how easy it is to reassign to a teammate or to get a teammates input on a task Cons I don't like that when you want to close a task window you have to click the x. Also, payment receiving is cheaper than other softwares. Cons Nothing. So far, everything has been easy. No problems in implementation and am looking to move towards more uses.
