Pros What I love in continually is how easy is to use it and how easy is to create and modify robots. In 20 minutes I can create a lead capture robot that is both interesting and useful. I would stay away if I knew this before." May 23, 2022 2.0 The product itself wasn’t bad although they stopped introducing new features and I believe they will be left behind the competitors in terms functionality and channel integration (facebook, whatsapp etc) BUT there is a more serious issue with the platform, their business ethics or better lack of it. They launched their product on a platform where buyers pay a sum of money upfront in exchange of lifetime usage. Anyone forced them to do this, and it was their second time using the same platform to get more customers and cash injection. They named the packaged they offered Business Plan which was a better option compared to today’s Professional plan. 4-5 months after they launched their product on the platform. They changed their package names and told their customers that the package they bought doesn’t exist any more, so it is up to them whether a new feature offered to those people who trusted them. For instance, file upload which is also available in trial, starter options hasn’t been offered to these people. When I tried talk to the \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] he was arrogant and dismissive. I sincerely believe that whole package name was planned before they launched their product on the deal platfrom. Pros I love the fact that setting up a chatbot in Continually is actually FUN and uncomplicated! Really! It is so easy with powerful features in-built, I knew this was a keeper from the moment I started using it! Add to that, the growing templates library make it super easy to set up a chatbot and tweak it to fit your specific situation relatively quickly. Cons I truly wish they add Facebook Messenger support to their service! This would be killer! Then I could use Continually for ALL my chatbot needs! July 14, 2021 5.0 As above - we're using both live chat and bots and have essentially replaced Drift with it at a fraction of the price. Pros I replaced Drift with Continually a year or so ago and it's done a perfect job. features are equivalent in terms of what I need. Website integration is better - they showed me how to auto-prefill the name and email of visitors from email visits or logged in users - Drift couldn't do that. Live chat and bot just work. Support is very responsive and have added many updates to the product since I bought. Cons Would really benefit from fuller integration with helpdesk software to allow automatic ticket creation when needed so we don't have to manage complex support queries inside a live chat tool. Would also be better to have a combined view of chats started by a bot automation along with normal live chat. Right now people interacting with the bot appear in a different section even if you're using the bot to prompt live chat with a few questions. Cons The software is weak compared to it's competitors, the service is shady and it slows your site down. The main issue for me is that they brand EVERYTHING and make you pay an extra $118.00 to remove their logos from your already paid account. That means you pay them for an account and email time you use the your paid account it still shows their company logo to your customers. I hate white label black mail. I sent in multiple requests in their system. Never heard back (and I have a paid business account). All and all it seems to be a one man show. It was my fault for not reading the terms well enough. I needed a solution ASAP. I'm not blaming the company for misrepresenting themselves. Upset customers is a direct consequence of white label blackmailing. You buy for a premium account and they stick their fingers into your business and try and market to your customers... unless of course you pay them an additional $118. Pros I have been using Continually for 1+ years now and have been impressed by how flawlessly it has helped us scale up by bringing in new leads. It was critical for us to have a chatbot software that would seamlessly transition our visitors into live chat when they needed it. Pros It's very easy to setup. I've tested out MANY chatbot providers and most haven't been too appealing or are difficult to setup. Continually has been great and easy to setup. Every day, my visitors are interacting my Continally chatbot. I also got in on a nice lifetime deal through Appsumo so I'm happy with what I have now. I started off on the free plan and it is also adequate for small sites and those wanting to test it out. Cons The Zapier integration still needs improvement but just glad they have this now. May 7, 2021 5.0 Pros There are several things I like about Continually, but if I had to pick the one I like the most, it would be its engagement features. I really like the idea of being able to rely on a tool that lets me create and deploy chatbots that I can use to put my conversations and exchanges with website visitors, leads, prospects and customers on autopilot. I can use this for engagement, for lead generation, marketing, sales, and even for customer support. But, sometimes, you can't do everything automatically... and that's why I like the fact that Continually also serves as a live chat platform and app (the smartphone app is really handy because it lets me keep track of everything and engage even when I'm on the go) that I can use to communicate with people in real-time. I feel as if some features don't let you fully leverage engagement because they either let you build chatbots that work automatically or they simply offer you live chat functionalities. You don't always see both options, and I really like that Continually does offer you both. Pros I like the ease of the application. You can build your own bot very quickly and embed it on your website. The editor of the chat is very clear and I like the UI of the application. You can connect the chat to a google shhet and you can retrieve data from the google sheet and display it on your chat. Also you chan use the api widget and send the data to a webhook - you may use integromat and zapier. Cons The support and development are bad. When you embed the chat on your site it loads 8 scripts. All scripts do not have cache ttl. This may slow down the load time of your site. I tried several times to alert the support that they need to change it without any success. It gives the creator the opportunity to concentrate on their ideas in building a lead generating bot. Personally I like the improvements over the last couple of months, seeing that this is going forward and making the process lightning fast. Thanks to the lead documentation you get great customer feedback and insights what helped us improving the e-commerce experience on our site. Cons I see improvement in the area of the calendar integration. If there was the chance to connect more than one calendar it could easily act as an adanced booking calendar system and we wouldn't need an extra subscription based integration. For example: We have a stand up paddle board rental with multiple boards. That means at the same time multiple boards could be rented out. At the moment I don't see the possibility to have multiple times blocked or occupied several times. I mean this would just be a really nice thing to have and not a must. Cons When you have problems, customer service isnt responsive and takes days and be wary of hitting limits, they might revoke your account like they did mine. They arent built for scale. We already generated leads and we are happy with Continually. Pros Continually is one of the easiest Chatbot Builder available in the market. Super easy to build a bot and deploy on the website. We literally built and deployed a bot under 30 minutes. The bot has very nice inviting UI. Continually has a lead management system built in, which is really amazing, their UI & UX is very simple and straight forward. Pros In about 24 hours after installing this bot on your website, we sold a $1000+ service! The lead came when no one was there to take the call, and the fast response provided by the funnel we created with the bot made the sale! Couldn't be happier. The UX/UI is fantastic and VERY easy to use. If you can draw match doodles, you can do this! The bot is super easy to setup and in no time you will have it running for your business. So my experience is very positive. Pros It's dead easy to set up. The focus of this chatbot is for capturing leads on the fly. I set it up and have increased my conversion rate (lead capturing) about 50%. That is quite a lot. In the past (no chatbot) I had been leaking a lot of leads. Cons What I don't like is its limited configuration. I would love to stop displaying the bot once I had captured an email but there is no function to do that. It works easily, deploys easily, chatbots are built easily, my customers understand the chatbot and have followed it through all the steps, and it has made my life easier! 10/10 Pros I found this chatbot builder through AppSumo after having tried multiple other ones. None of the other chatbot builders had an easy to use interface to create the chatbots or the advanced features that Continually offer. With the other chatbot builders, they were never as easy to use as advertised. It would take hours (upon hours) to create a half-decent chatbot that never really did what I wanted it to do. With Continually, the interface is so super easy that you could do it in your sleep! It took a quarter of the time, it is all visual, I was able to add gifs and images without a problem, and my chatbot just works. I couldn't ask for more. Cons There are no cons that I can think of. I got it for a great price, it is super easy to use, and they keep making it better. That is everything I ask for in a chatbot builder or any SAAS product.
