The professionalism and follow through of the YM staff is extraordinary. Pros The functionality of the platform is what I like the most about the platform. It feels like a turnkey operation in which you are provided with a comprehensive marketing toolkit that makes it effortless to launch a career site. There is a lot of opportunity to expand your business with this software. Cons I would like to customize the look of the site more and have more opportunities to optimize the meta data and SEO. This is not a deal breaker for me. The only thing I don't like is getting compensated via paper checks. I could change anything; it would be incorporating a direct deposit option. They provide answers to questions quickly and respond to updates we want quickly. Pros Support from provider, ability to include feeds into community website, job flash email to member subscribers. Cons Some confusion for association members who are also employers; the need to create an employer profile. Not an overwhelming issue. Since we are so niche, we can't implement some of the features and we don't get enough traffic to justify the cost. Pros I liked the pane view option and the search options that are available. Cons There is really no way to run financial reports without oversight from YM. Reason for choosing YM Careers We use YM for our member database so it integrated easily. They provide us with great marketing templates and help us keep up-to-date on current trends. Pros The YM Careers software is easy to use and implement. As a YM AMS customer this was a no-brainer to add onto our existing services. We can generate non-dues revenue and provide another service to our members. Cons It would be nice to have more control over the homepage layout and design for those of us that know how to operate our main website. The ease of use for our members is tops. Yes, we have to provide the occasional support to members, but we love it when they can navigate and take care of their own needs and that is the majority of the time. Happy members, happy team. She is responsive and proactive and has helped us learn to use the features of the product effectively. She has great suggestions and has helped us think through campaigns. There are lot of ways to upsell add ons to make job posts branded for the employers and appealing to job seekers. Without more information it's hard to completely understand if your feedback is a technology limitation or a training issue, but we would love to help you figure it out.
