### "The Best Bang for your Buck"

Pros

It’s super easy to use and set up. It only took me about 10 minutes to get everything setup and I never have to mess with it again. It just works, and it’s such a relief on my team and I to have such a dependable program.

Cons

We are a smaller church who works on a tight budget, so while we do wish we could upgrade to a bigger package especially now with the introduction of the HTML5 player, unfortunately it’s just not something we can actually afford right now.

The live streaming works well for me as I can link up more social media platforms from one platform. Also, I can schedule broadcasts that run on time. Best of all is the desktop application that enables one to use the software without opening a browser--neat!

Pros

The software works well for me in seamlessly connecting to the various social media platforms through which I reach my audience.

So far, there has been no drawback while using the application.

Great! We have an 8-camera setup using a Blackmagic ATEM system and all I have to do is connect it's built-in encoder to Castr, where I can see the integrity of my stream, add the appropriate platforms I want to stream to, and I'm up and running. Couldn't be easier!

Pros

At our recording studio, clients frequently want to stream their sessions to multiple platforms simultaneously. Castr makes it super-easy with most, if not all current platforms ready at the click of a link. The "dashboard" is a well organized central hub from which to branch out. Very easy to use.

Cons

Haven't found anything yet to complain about.

Sometimes some platforms disconnect or do not want to connect, I think is has to do with the platforms themselves

This software has been a huge blessing for our church, I cant thank enough, our church members are able to watch a live stream through different platform. We are very Happy. Castr is very easy to use you don’t have to be a savvy to learn how to set up the stream through different platform. Another great thing is the price.

One of the best platforms for providing CDN services for live streaming as well as VOD and very flexible bandwidth. All the problems we face can be resolved very quickly. Besides their very friendly customer service. Best Castr!

The number one benefit for me is being able to stream to multiple platforms. Castr handles this with ease and I love using their product.

Pros

Castr is extremely easy to use and it just simply works! I've never had a problem streaming from my home, on location, at church, or elsewhere. I live stream events, weddings, funerals, and Castr has not given me an issue at all. I've used the product with both OBS and with an ATEM Mini Pro and ATEM Extreme and no issues there at all. I just add Castr into the XML, configure my settings, and take off.

Cons

Nothing to say here (and that's good right).

Its an inexpensive and effective tool that helps us accomplish our multi streaming goals

Pros

This software is easy to use and very straight forward. There is a lot of resources available to make sure you get the best result. When streaming to multiple platforms it maximizes your bandwidth to allow for other web functions.

Cons

There are a couple small hiccups that occur on occasion. I have utilized their help desk but it wasn't necessarily the most helpful experience. They pointed me in the right direction of materials but it wasn't necessarily personable help.

Pros

I had no issue getting setup to be able to livestream to Facebook and YouTube simultaneously. UI is straightforward and easily understood. I like the ability to use LUTs and other options to adjust the video.

I have not had any issues using this software.

We use OBS with one camera. We switch scenes occasionally. We are soon moving to SlingStudio which will send to Castr so we can continue to simulcast to YouTube and Facebook.

Pros

Ease of use. Set and forget. Once configured all you have to do is turn on/off.

Cons

None. More features? There really isn’t anything lacking in Castr. It does one function and does it well.
