Multistreaming is what I mostly use it for and my experience has been very positive little to no hiccups at all.

Pros

Castr is an amazing product and I have yet to really tap into all of its features but I will say it's very reliable and the customer service is great and fast when I have concerns or questions.

Cons

I don't have any cons, this product does everything I need it to and more.

### "Make Your Church Livestream Easily Available"

COVID pushed us, like many churches, into livestreaming. We jumped in with a simple setup, but soon realized it was here to stay and wanted to expand our availability to various platforms. Castr was our answer. It was a simply interface that worked well. Our livestream setup has expanded and Castr has kept up.

Pros

We were looking for a way to get our livestream on multiple platforms and Castr does this easily and inexpensively. It also works easily with OBS which we use to run our livestream.

Cons

I would like to have better integration with our website, but I believe that's available on a more expensive plan that we are on.

We can stream to a lot of channel at the same time. Quickly.

Pros

Multistream work without any issue. We used it for over 2 years in critical environment (live streaming of sports match from professional to amateurs).

Cons

We only want paywall at a less higher cost.

The platform is easy to use and the client services is tops!

Pros

Multi-streaming, embedded streaming, and scheduled streaming. This software opens up a whole new way to distribute our content. The Ad feature is also a great feature.

Cons

Scheduled streaming file limit and looping feature being disabled on the start up subscription

### "New Compression Technology, TV station in a box."

Castr has serviced our needs to reach not only our community, but parts of the world. We reach South Africa, and Europe. Our stream is never dropped, we broadcast for 1 1/2 hours.

Pros

BoxCaster is cloud based platform, for live streaming. Has it's own ethernet connection. Set up is easy, you don't need that super expensive computer. Can start a stream from your iPad or IPhone. Our muliti camera HDMI mixer fits right into one side. Best of all the BoxCater has Audio Gain Control. Our sound person is very happy what we here is what is sent out. This is a TV station in a box 4 x 3 inchs. We also use the service to broadcast to facebook and youtube. Now they have a live chat system which is managed by the developers. The level of service is outstanding.

Cons

No aspect of this product is difficult. It fit effortlessly into our demands.

Overall Castr has been excellent and in the few issues I have experienced, customer service has sorted things out very quickly. I have never had my stream cut out. It offers Pull URL at no extra cost on my package which is much cheaper than other similar services.

Pros

Very large range of services to stream to not just the usual Facebook and Youtube. Excellent stream quality Relatively low latency Recording of streams Pull URL functionality

Cons

Castr needs to have more data information. During and post streaming we need to see broadcast stats

Castr provides a great service, with good support at the right price.

Pros

Easy to implement. Easy to use. Extremely versatile. Right price.

Cons

As far a the product goes I have not found any Cons. The only minor con I have is it would be great if they had phone support. They only have text support which is great, but phone would have been better at certain times.

### "Livestreaming churches should look at Castr first!"

We have yet to run into any troubles in our livestreaming with Castr over the last couple of years.

Pros

The set-up was extremely simple. The cost is affordable for smaller organizations as well as larger. The simple push of a button use makes this easy for non techie types. Customer service was simple as we needed to upgrade our plan for a couple months and then go back to our regular set-up. Made working with Castr very powerful.

Cons

Nothing no dislike in our experience of using Castr.

Cost, livestream recording for archival purposes, ease of use with our Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro equipment.

To offer my clients zoom conferences without the ZOOM logo during the live event and connect Castr with Atem min pro. Save time in setting up multiple live feeds with ease.

Pros

The ability to launch multiple streams at the same time and on multiple platforms. The ability to schedule streams automatically in advance. A perfect integration with the ATEM MINI PRO and ATEM MINI EXREME video management systems. Constant quality of the stream over a long period of time (8 hours). Reactive customer service. And really affordable prices.

Cons

Be able to know the exact audio bitrate (128 or 256) or have a graphical overview of the video/audio bitrate Offer an affiliate account to get a return on investment for referral

The ability to stream to different platforms simultaneously was a big issue. Now with Castr, the problem is solved. Also to be able to schedule a video to go live at a particular time on all selected platforms at the same time.

Pros

Scheduling a rebroadcast to stream at a selected time and also broadcasting a stream without a watermark.

Cons

No possibility to chat live with all platforms in the same chat window.

I use Vidiu to send stream to Castr, before we would only use sharelink but sense their FB Api went down they can't seem to get it back up almost a year now I swear, we have had to open 11 tabs to stream to the 11 pages which was a task in setting up before each stream. we got a recommendation from a sister island that use the same Vidiu so I signed up ask a million questions to the online chat person, they were super helpful and recommended a trial didn't even try to force me to buy, after a few test it had me sold, another thing is where sharelink logs every stream and you have 150gig limit per month and you pay per gig after that Castr dont do this. This has been 2-3 months solid now no issues, one steady bill. One thing I want added is same ease if I upload files to stream, but thats not a deal breaker for me.

Pros

Ease in which you add & save channels for repeated streams

Cons

not being able to use FB Api for files uploaded to stream. not a deal breaker.

Its ease of use and the ability to create unique Multistream configurations works well for us on a weekly basis as well as for our occasional special services like weddings, funeral and the like.

Cons

Remembering to click "Start Live Stream" on Facebook Live; however, this is not Castr's fault.

### "Best Solution for multi stream "

Our internet at our facility is not capable to handle streaming to more than one platform. We needed to spend over $25k to upgrade the infrastructure in our area and that was out of our budget. We decided to try Castr and it was the best decision we made for our production.

Pros

Ease of use is what we like most about Castr. Since day 1 of implementation, it’s been a breeze to operate. Linked our stream software to castr server, then linked castr to our viewing platforms, and we been set since.

Cons

For our use, there isn’t anything that we like least about castr. It delivers perfectly for our needs.

Please with it so far. Don't have problems, so we'll stay on as long as it doesn't give us trouble or a reason to go with something else.

Pros

You can access is anywhere through the web. It's easy enough, and once set up rarely needs to be touched again for weekly usage.

Cons

It could be a bit more user intuitive in terms of walking someone through what certain functions do and what it's good for.
