We are able to serve our congregant members and visitors who are unable to attend in person with a reasonable solution to weekly praise and worship.

Pros

This product was easy to implement even though it was my first time setting up a live stream. The customer support was amazing and greatly appreciated.

Cons

I think that a little more information could be provided to new users regarding how the multi stream actually works. We have had some problems with our frames dropping and we are still not entirely sure if changing servers helped us because it’s still an intermittent issue.

The overall experience is very good and it proved to be a very solid tool for my streaming business.

Pros

Multistreaming capabilities are strong and easy to setup and use

Cons

These are more suggestions for future developments. - please provide some sort of indication that audio is being received (a VU?) and properly restreamed to each destination platform. That allows for quick assessment that everything is going Ok! - When accessing the service thru an iPad which I often do, the video preview window is non functional. Please solve this or make a dedicated app for this purpose as you did for laptops and desktops.

It allows me to simultaneously livestream church services, while being so easy to setup and use.

Pros

I love how easy it is to setup the livestream, but also being able to stream to different sites simultaneously. It comes at an affordable price too.

Better social interaction with audience.

I signed up with Castr when a friend of mine needed to add few more points to his stream. I was ever happy and added to the maximum available services.

Pros

The combination of ingest points, ability to add platforms and ease of use makes this product a swiss knife of streaming and video delivery.

Cons

The software is still having challenges when integrating with extremely proprietary Facebook and few other restrictive services. Everyone wishes a little bit more support with them. Also, castr should allow to increase the number of services a la carte.

I think castr makes the ui and simplicity attractive and it's easier to use.

We have been using Castr with OBS for more than one year now; due to the pandemic, all our programs had to go online. Even after we come back to in-person programming, we will definitely rely on Castr as our multi-streaming service. We tried with several others, but none were as reliable as Castr.

Pros

The interface is very user friendly, and there are a ton of channels that I can set up. Controls are easy to understand, you don't need too much information to set up a channel. I have been working with three different Facebook channels, and two YouTube on the same stream and I have had no issues with lag. Also, the price is very affordable.

Cons

I wonder if there is a way to integrate Instagram. I know it's not a very friendly platform for multistreamers, but I just wonder...

We use Castr regularly to help us multi-stream to Facebook and YouTube simultaneously. It's a great program and consistently provides a high-quality experience and meets our needs.

Pros

I love the ease of use of the program. It consistently performs well and livestreams our content to multiple platforms simultaneously, without any issues.

Cons

At this point, there is nothing really to say about what I like least about the program. It fulfills my needs with regards to multi-streaming. If anything I would pick at the pricing... it's not unreasonably priced for what it offers, but could always be cheaper, I suppose!

We had a specialized schedule and budget for Dedicated Live Streaming and the Castr Staff went out of their way to really listen and customize a solution for us that met all of our goals and constraints. The Software and Streaming Service is ROCK SOLID and when you combine that with the truly best customer service and pricing, it is the Best Decision we could make.

Pros

Very easy to setup and operate. No experience needed. It walks you through each step and then remembers everything you set so the next time you log in it is ready with one click. Great stats. Great plug ends. The Best Customer service. It is Rock Solid and never crashes.

Cons

It is clear that the Castr product development team not only has a lot of experience but listens to what people need and then writes it into the software. I use it every week and I can not find a con. It is so refined and user friendly.

When covid he we needed a platform for live streaming to multiple platforms like YouTube and Facebook. Time was of the essence and we also didn't have any experience so it had to be easy to set up and use. Castr fit the bill.!

So far, re-streaming to multiple platforms without stressing my computer and internet bandwidth on a daily basis with that ease of use and quick to connect to all my destinations makes using Castr worth it.

Pros

For me, after searching the web and looking at all the Re-streaming software available out there, Castr's price point was the best value for money. It's ease of use and simple user interface also made buying this software a no-brainer.

Cons

can't think of any right now but i would maybe add the ability to do simple graphic overlays from the dashboard, per destination. So for destination 1, i can say add a custom graphic bug, and 2 another different custom overlay etc.

### "Easy to use streaming server"

Pros

The user interface is very easy to use and clear from beginning on, there is not much that one can do wrong when using Castr.io. We are using Castr.io for our live stream productions without any problems, the latency is great and the fact they have servers around the globe allows for stable streams even from the US to Europe, etc. For our usage, Castr.io is perfect as it offers everything we need and nothing more on a stable, easy to use platform.

Cons

I did notice some little bugs with Castr.io (such as with the cloud recording) which I reported to the customer service back then and haven't heard back, but other than that everything works just fine for our usage. The only other point of criticism is the slightly unflexible pricing with pre-defined packages. I feel like in the cloud-server-days it would be a lot easier for everyone to be able to scale up and down the servers based on the requirements and not being locked into a specific plan with certain limits.

Cons

Sometimes you have problems with the transmission with certain social networks, mark low FPS. The problem lasts a short time, but it does affect.

### "Easy, inexpensive, and it just works"

This product "just works" week after week. It has the right features for our church's livestream needs. The price beats everything else we looked at. The sales and product engagement teams check in from time to time, but are not pests.

Pros

Easy to set up. It took literally 5 minutes. And it keeps working week after week without any intervention.

Cons

A few service outages early on, but the infrastructure has scaled to handle increased load since the pandemic began.

Been great, got help setting it up initially and a couple of issues along the way. Couple of non-responding servers from time to time. Had to switch to other access sites. Use Dallas and Chiicago.

Pros

Ability to live stream to our website, Facebook, YouTube and other sites with a single stream from our on-site setup.

Cons

Not fond of the Analytics that seem to make no or very little sense to me.

It is able to use multiple platforms that integrate with it very well.

Cons

I use it with Blackmagic OBS software and I have to repeatedly input a new streaming and OBS key every service. This takes a lot of time to perform between services.

### "Good quality re-streaming service, with excellent customer support"

We originally used a different re-streaming service, which was more expensive. But when we realised that they branded their name into our video comments, it made that service untenable for us. I looked around and found Castr - it was 100% compatile with our streaming setup, better value for money, and is super easy to setup and use.

Pros

Castr is easy to setup and use, and has proven to be very reliable.

Cons

There's not much I don't like. If I had to chose, I'd say I would like to see more analytics. But that's just being picky!

Reason for choosing Castr

Castr was the best fit. I tested them by asking a genuine support question (would they brand our video comments) and they replied in person within minutes.

Switched from

Restream were more expensive, and they add their name to your video comments. This option can only be removed by paying for a much more expensive tier. Castr on the other hand do not ever brnad your video or comments with their name.

Pros

Looked at other services. Castr had no branding inserted. Price was fair. Used the free demo. Purchased the product. When needed customer service has been prompt and accurate.

Cons

Haven't had any negative problems with Castr.
