We are very pleased with the overall experience of Castr, it has been easy to set up and use within our business, even for those that are not really technically minded, not that you have to be technically minded to use it ! Very happy with it and would highly recommend to anyone who needed a multiple stream software option.

Pros

It is very easy to set up and deploy this software. Linking Social accounts was easy with Castr and it worked straight away. The new Desktop App makes it even easier to deploy.

Cons

At this moment in time we don't have any Cons about this product to be honest, its just works !

Reason for choosing Castr

Price with the numerous options available on the platform. Easy to upgrade / downgrade as and when required.

Pros

The ability to use a prerecorded stream has been amazing. Also to be able to stream to multiple platforms has been amazing.

Cons

The fact that the complete application is unable to be controlled on a desktop is the biggest setback.

I liked it, worked well, pretty reliable, no major issues.

Pros

Cheaper than the competition. Easy to set up and use. Easy to add platforms.

Cons

Can't add more than one Facebook page or YouTube channel.

Excellent! Very glad we started using Castr very earlier in our spin up of livestreaming church events.

Pros

Super easy to operate and integrates well with streaming service. No issues with implementing on multiple social media platforms.

Cons

No complaints. Very easy and simple to use as well as train new team members on.

Castr is a tool that we use to send our Live streaming 24/7 to our website and also permit making ‘a click’ send special parts of our Live program to social media.

Pros

We try diferent servers before choose Castr. Finally we choose Castr because was very easy to setup and give to us a lot of tools with a confidence and stable service and a resonable price

Cons

For the moment nothing to say, we have all that we need and works

### "Quick deployment for multistream"

We use Castr to multisream temple live streams to Yt and FB channels. used it for more than a year with no issues. seemless integration with OBS.

Pros

We use OBS studio to live stream our temple events daily since march of 2020, and relaying the stream to Facebook and Youtube simultaneously is very simple with Castr.

Cons

None that I can think of in the software. I would love for an auto-renewal or at least a renewal reminder instead of just stopping service at end of the 1 year plan. that was the only issue I had.

### "A great product for our church"

Pros

We use Castr for our church to be able to multistream simultaneously to Facebook and YouTube. We love how easy Castr makes this. We also love that we can pre-record prayer times and schedule them to stream mid week for our congregation.

Cons

Being a web service, there are times that the program doesn't seem to load correctly, leading to broadcast glitches. But a refresh seems to fix the issues.

fairly good but could be overrated unless you are iin serious need.

Pros

You can turn off certain streams but keep others live

Cons

sometimes certain instance based streams IE YT and facebook go crazy and dont want to accept the stream from castr. ( more of an iissue on YTs end)

Pros

Ease of use and quality. Didn’t think it would work as good as it did and also in record time. Compatible and has a direct link to most streaming platforms.

Cons

I’d like to be able to easily customize my chat window to transparent without having to do too much. I can still get it done but….,

### "Still having problems with the interface."

its been a good experence with the exception of the connection interface.

Pros

easy setup, good price, and great response time for support.

Cons

Support has not been able to resolve my interface connected vs connecting problem. It displays connecting during live streams when its connected. I have worked with several support reps with a promise that it would be fixed and the fix would be released during an automatic update, but it has not happen 3-4 months later.

Castr made the jump to live-streaming our worship services easy and inexpensive.

Pros

The user interface, setup, and implementation are seamless and intuitive. There is no training required and everything just works.

Cons

IG love integration is still not part of the software but that is likely the fault of IG not Caste.

We user Castr to deliver our content 24/7 to different platforms, it makes our workflow much simpler, we save internet bandwidth and hardware stress

Pros

We use this service daily and this is already part of our workflow! It offers a clever alternative to slow internet connection when one need to stream to various channels and is very easy to use.

As it is part of our workflow any instability in the service have an impact in our multi transmissions

Pros

Multistreaming is the best thing about Castr. It is easy to set up platforms and streaming is just a matter of starting your encoder. I also like the ability to schedule prerecorded videos for later viewing.

Cons

Editing videos for VOD is cumbersome. I can't always download recorded videos from the site to my computer.

Great, highly dependable, and we used it for multi stream on a big live event recently and it worked great!

Pros

The product is dependable, and once I learned it it was easy to repeat and check the streams on multiple platforms.

Cons

I can recall which but one platform goes live right away, it may not be a Castr issue. So you have to plan to start the other one first...
