Pros

Any time we have had an issue, you have responded immediately and either resolved it or found someone to help resolve the issue.

Cons

We asked that the mobile punch in and out was not available, but in order for someone to work from home we have no choice but to enable it.Ben Admin was a very rocky start with our implementation lead leaving with no notice. The new implementation lead and our ongoing Ben Admin lead have been great, but the delay in getting up and running caused us a lot of issues.

Cons

PTO management - no forecasting, review of time tracked versus requested Variable payees on payroll can be tough to manage occasionally (we have a 1099 payroll that runs once monthly, and the payees vary - often they won't show on the payroll and we have to add them every time)

### "I have Taken Proliant with me through 3 job changes"

I started using Proliant 6 years ago with a different company. I have since implemented Proliant in 2 other companies. The implementation has always been smooth. Proliant team is knowledgeable, professional and efficient. I can always find what reports I need in the report options, and if I can't, my support team is always willing to help build a custom report. Onboarding is a god send. Super easy for the administrators as well as the employees. Overall from start to finish, Proliant has everything we need. Payroll, Onboarding, HR functions, Document Storage.

Pros

I love how user friendly it is. If you don't know something about the system, you can pretty much use the help/training to figure it out. If not there is always personalized support. I also love how responsive the Proliant team is. If there is ever something I need, I hear back the same day and get a very quick turnaround time.

Cons

Additional State Specific HR laws. Also Industry Specific laws/regulations.

It has so many features to play around with and utilize.

time clock's do not work very well. PTO accrual features do not work for our company. time and attendance seems mediocre compared to others. on-boarding could be better, reason we don't use, person that did the initial review wasn't very good

Pros

How timekeeping is integrated with the payroll side. Employees are able to make demographic, W-4 and various other changes themselves.

Cons

Getting state and local taxes set up in the system is A LOT of work. The way the system looks at a new salaried employee. For example: Our pay period runs the 1st - 15th. We have an employee start on the 16th (beginning of a new pay period). The system requires a pay rate to be in the system for the pay period prior to when they started in order to get the 1st - 15th payroll processed. The system should be able to see the pay rate and DOH is effective 5/16 and know this employee would not get a check for the 1st - 15th pay period.

I am thrilled with Proliant! I would tell anyone and everyone to switch to them. Their customer service is top notch. The easy of use of the product is above all else.

Pros

The report writer feature. I can create my own reports and pull from any and all information in the system.

Cons

I wish that we could receive an email when an employee is terminated. We miss sending information on garnishments, PTO payout, etc. in a timely fashion.

Pros

Robust features with a low cost value proposition with a fairly stable online platform and reputation.

Cons

Some of the employee settings during onboarding are not easy to find due to infrequent use by a small employer with light turnover. The system is very thorough with lots of features and controls so it does take some experience and use over time to become an "expert" user. Designing a way to simplify these would be beneficial to small employers that do not experience a lot of turnover.

My experience with Proliant is that the service offered are fairly easy to use. What I have a problem with is the Payroll Manager's you get assigned to you could improve. I currently sent two emails to my new Payroll Manager that got assigned to our account that were completely ignored. This is making me seriously consider switching to a different company that offers better customer service for issues and problems. I have had other Account Managers help out tremendously, but our current Manager could use some improving. She is a bit incompetent. Told me I needed to add dependents in our benefit section and then when the 1095C's were printed, the dependents aren't even listed. Why did I spend 3 hours doing this task at her request and they weren't even on the forms. Makes no sense.

Pros

I like that this software is fairly easy to use and very affordable compared to other programs we have used.

Cons

The reporting process is a bit more complex than I would like it to be.

I have been impressed with Proliant's customer service. Any issues are always handled quickly and professionally.

Pros

The Proliant system is user-friendly and makes light work of payroll and tax processing. It is really a stress reliever to me to be able to trust the system. Proliant's team is always helpful and friendly. They respond quickly and are willing to find ways to fit our needs.

Cons

The reporting tool can be cumbersome at times because there are so many options, but the search feature is very helpful.

Pros

It is extremely user-friendly and precise. The application tracking and benefits management programmes are very appealing to me. Continuous updates and maintenance are performed on the software on a bi-weekly basis. The support staff is always prepared to assist you with any questions you may have or to create any reports you may want that are not readily available. The system is simple to operate, efficient, and cost-effective. We have never missed a paycheck and have always paid everyone on schedule.

Cons

The reporting programme is my least favourite programme. It is not always easy to find the information you seek. GL integration and the ability to estimate building costs are not yet completely developed. I'd like to be able to integrate Proliant with our time clock system directly.

I love this product and the fact that an Account Manager was assigned from day one. All emails and phone calls are always answered promptly with very good assistance in walking through steps or fixing things that we messed up by mistake.

Pros

Liked having the videos to review for the step by step instructions on each part of the product

Cons

When updated were made to the software the videos were not updated too.

Honestly pretty shitt. I have had to go to my account managers boss multiple times and she has helped me but I feel like if we have an account manager who does not help what is the point of one.

Pros

Applicant tracking. This is the easiest thing in the whole program

Cons

Nothing crosses over correctly. I am constantly auditing the system and fixing things. Also our account manager has switched 5 times.

I was stoked to have switched to Proliant, we were told we would always have an assigned account manager and yes that is the case. In the almost two years we have lost two awesome account managers. They were very responsive to my calls or emails. Now not so much and I always get the same response too busy with other customers. Novatime represenative not responsive, takes him too long to get back to me. as a matter of fact , he has not fixed my vacation accruals since months ago. He does not follow up and I'm still waiting to here that he is done

Pros

It is somewhat user friendly, when we came on board the whole process was rushed, did not get sufficient training

Cons

Running any sort of payroll, HR report is cumbersome

I am very happy with Proliant, I feel as though any issues I have are resolved in a timely manner. I am still a little weary of the T&L software, though.

Pros

I like the incredibly support I receive from \[sensitive content hidden\] . She is the main reason we have stayed loyal to Proliant over the years.

Cons

It would be great if, when entering a new employee, it saved as you went along. Also, if we could have customized data entry fields so we do not have to go back into the record to fill in the info that was unseen during the initial employee set-up. I don't like the way the T&L software sometimes does not sync cleanly with the Readypay software.

Pros

Easy RPO navigation. The onboarding is easy to use.

Cons

Outdated and limited Time and Attendance add-on. Too many glitches with this 3rd party software.

Overall, I have had a great experience with Proliant. The software is very easy to use and when I have questions, my service team is very responsive.

Pros

I love that the system is easy to use as an employee as well as as an administrator.

Cons

The one thing I would change is the ability to enter specific hours on the timesheet instead of just the total hours worked.

Due to the nature of our business, we needed a system that would allow for multiple non-employee supervisors as well as the ability to use a timeclock or timesheet depending on the employee. Proliant offered a customized solution that is affordable and easy to use.

### "So Happy We Made the Switch to Proliant!"

I was dreading the switch because we had just gone through implementation with another provider. I have no regrets. Proliant is on top of it. Our first payroll was easy! The tax team is responsive and any issues are quickly and easily resolved. I am excited to integrate our expense reimbursement into Proliant instead of cutting checks.

Pros

The implementation team was very knowledgeable and made the transition from our previous provider seamless and painless. The Ready Pay Online platform is very intuitive and easy to navigate. Unlimited training is helpful in learning all the different aspects of the software. The customer service has been amazing; I quickly get accurate answers to all of my questions.

Cons

I still struggle with Reporting and finding or customizing reports to the content and format I need.

Workforce Now was difficult to navigate, the reporting was impossible, and there were so many issues on the back end due to poor implementation that we are still trying to correct errors. Customer service was severely lacking and the wait times and response times were unacceptable.

The customer service! If you have a question or problem with ADP, you always get a different person that is not familiar with your account and in most cases you get transferred 3 to 4 times before you can get someone to help you. Your phone call can last way too long trying to find the correct person to help you. We also found errors/oversights on ADP's processing.
