### "Proliant is good for our business"

The start up was pretty intense but now that I am more familiar with it, I like it much better

Pros

It is easy to set up new hires and I love that you can have your benefits imported into Proliant

Cons

I did not like to Time and Attendance because it was very user unfriendly to me

Pros

What I like most about Proliant is it's ease of use and how it easily integrates with our benefits package.

Cons

The thing I like the least about Proliant is it's reporting. It's not as user-friendly as it should be.

We completed an RFP process 5+ years ago. At that time we determined to remain with ProLiant. This was the most cost-effective cost and well-rounded service provider we reviewed. The CS team was a big part of our decision. Having a dedicated service team that knows your business rather than a call center that you never know who you are going to speak with was important to our organization.

Pros

The customer service is outstanding. You have an assigned support team that knows you and your business

Cons

Report writing is not as flexible/customizable as prior software I have ultized

Pros

I really like that we have a simple kiosk for our staff to clock in and that they are able to manage their accounts with out management having to change their accounts.

Cons

I wish a bit easier in giving someone a raise or changing there time from part time to full time.

Very good and responsive

Pros

First, \[sensitive content hidden\] is the best customer service rep I've worked with. Secondly, the product is easy to use and grab most data from.

Cons

The reporting functions in the time and labor needs improvement. We are not able to grab time in Excel format without a lot of steps. Something is not compatible with our basic Microsoft systems.

OK. I like my original rep better. I feel like the answer is too often, do what you think you should. I don't like that you accept zero liability even for simple questions. At least have an advisor that either disclaims or allows for payment for questions. I don't have an attorney on call for payroll. That's why I hired a payroll professional.

Pros

It's affordable and employees can pull their own information

Cons

I do not like the setup for managers to be able to onboard people. I don't want to have to select each job that a manager can hire. If they can hire they can hire for the whole store. I don't want to go into settings ever. I want all of this set up already. If it's not set up I don't want to go find it. I don't like the way our company was set up and I don't like that the job positions are not showing on check stubs.

When I first started with this company the support from Proliant was amazing. They helped me learn the software and were always there to help. The team we had was great. They have made some changes to our team and I don't feel we get the same level of support as we did.

Pros

The software is fairly easy to use. You can usually find what you are looking for pretty fast.

Cons

They keep doing updates that mess things up. They have changed things that have made our jobs harder and then tell us that we will just have to deal with it. They seem to have the customer service side they had a while back.

We tried to "shoot for the moon" on our implementation/transition from our previous payroll processor to Proliant. We are truly utilizing Proliant as an HRMS solution. Our implementation took longer than expected and with such a big step from one to the other we have encountered growing pains. Our implementation team was excellent to work with and a relatively smooth transition to our customer service team.

Pros

Proliant offers many modules to customize to fit your organization.

Cons

Some modules are difficult to customize. Overall Proliant has worked to meet our needs.

It has not been great as of late. They system has been flawed, add ons are not accurate, customer service knowledge is lacking, mistakes have been made on our accounts by proliant and there is no apology, money has been lost due to proliant employee mistakes and no refunds offered. Overall we have been very displeased with how our account has been handled and are actively looking for other payroll/HR solutions.

Pros

I like the idea that a lot of systems are accessible through one platform

Cons

The systems do not work well. The PTO tracking is inaccurate, the clocking in and out is a pain and the platform is difficult to navigate.

We have been challenged internally throughout the implementation of the various modules we selected due to staff changing, and Proliant has been extremely helpful as we navigate our current modules and go forth with additional modules.

Many more features than our previous software.

Cons

No, I can't think of anything offhand that might be missing or not up to our expectations. If something does come along, we have reached out to our reps to see if another solution or slight adjustment can help us out.

Pros

From an end user perspective Proliant is fine. It reports details accurately, securely and in an easy to understand fashion. From an admin perspective Proliant has some quirks that make it a little finicky and harder to integrate with other systems.

Cons

It has redundant data fields in which some cases are populated and used but other cases are left blank. This has created confusion and mistakes that are easy to correct with training but seem like they could be avoided with some refinement to the product.

We really love having one contact person that helps us with questions and issues that arise.

Pros

It is so helpful to have one contact person at Proliant that helps us with issues that arise and when we need some training or help to understand certain aspects of the system. Our previous payroll company did not have this and you never knew who you were going to talk to receive help and if the information you received was correct information or not.

Cons

There is really not anything I can think of that needs improvement.

Great support, smart people who are good that this make my life easier. I don't have to learn or stay up on payroll rules, taxes, etc.

Pros

The software is pretty easy to use at the not-so-deep level we use it at. I am guessing it would be easy to deploy more features and use deeper levels too.

Cons

New employees sometimes don't show up on the time & attendance side for several hours, makes putting them in for punching another step instead of one smooth onboarding process.

Sales guy. Interface was simple enough and had all the features I would ever need.

Pros

Proliant has many features that our business does not take advantage of. However, we have used them for years and find them to be very helpful and reliable. My biggest reason for loving this company is their Customer Support. I have used a number of other payroll services in the past but Proliant surpasses them all!

Cons

The limits on customized reporting. I produce many reports for work comp audits as well as other audits and have to sometime “piecemeal” the information needed.

Easy to navigate to find demographics and reports

Cons

Some reports cannot be run in Excel format, Proliant has only PDF format. In some situations need reports in Excel format for audit purposes but Proliant doesn't have the option to change the format. Only can be run in PDF format.

I can't really think of much except waiting for weeks to hear back from the tax department when having an issue.

The tax credits and COVID modules are great. Overall we have been very satisfied with Proliant and the functions they offer. Since electing Proliant we haven't even considered another payroll company.

Pros

We use Proliant most often Personnel Files, Payroll, Performance Reviews, and Written Warnings. Proliant is easy to use and navigate. It is not difficult to make changes and the customer service has been great.

Cons

Sometimes it is difficult to navigate the hard coded reports and get the exact info that you need. I do wish the reports menu was easier to use and easier to adapt to our situations.

My experience is very good. I haven't had any bad experience with the system.

Pros

The most impactful feature for me is that I can process Payroll quickly. I have access to my Account Manager.

Cons

The PTO adjustment should be much easier. When an employee cancels the PTO that was already approved, there should be a way to cancel without going to the Payroll cycle batch.
