Pros

The software is easy to use for those inputting time.

Cons

Report writing is not as efficient as other payroll system. It often takes several calls or emails to get items taken care of for reporting needs.

Overall it has been a very good experience for us. Praise particularly needs to be given to the customer services department.

Pros

It is easy to use. Easy to learn. It does not answer every question you have about payroll. However, every company should have a knowledgeable person of payroll in the payroll position. It is too critical to have an untrained person in the payroll processing position.

Cons

At time the HR portion of the software is a little difficult to process - particularly in the recording of training classes. Some work is needed here.

Does not meet expectations by a large degree. The system makes autonomous changes that the support team cannot explain. The expectation that payroll would take 15 minutes misses by hours.

Pros

Proliant is clunky and a labyrinth to work through.

Cons

Time and Labor is not synchronized with Payroll.

Overall our experience with Proliant has been positive. There would be hiccups with any software. We have had some issues with payroll but nothing drastic.

Pros

Proliant works well for our company. It allowed us to automate payroll, and to be able to take the pressure of tax liabilities off of our staffs responsibilities. It has allowed us to be able to streamline our onboarding and termination processes.

Cons

The AOD Timeclock piece did not work for us. We have struggled with implimentation, due to having 5 account manangers in 6 months.

better time keeping, and reassurance that our fed & state tax payments are correct & paid timely.

Pros

ease of use & flexibility of custom reports, as well as the prompt customer service

Cons

Certain things can be improved, as relayed to me by our HR dept-such as the default office location for an employee when entering a new employee. It should default to the employee state instead of defaulting to the company's HQ state.

Pros

The integration went very smoothly. The training was well organized and well presented. Ongoing support for questions or changes needed is excellent. Representatives are responsive, knowledgeable and helpful.

Cons

The time clock is sometimes not available to record punches. Not sure if this is a Proliant or internet service issue - but it is extremely frustrating for staff when they are trying to do the right thing and cannot.

The support has been great and there seems to be a lot of functionality.

Cons

It has been complicated to learn and not very intuitive. Navigation is tough.

Pros

The entire system is very intuitive and things make sense where they are located. You do not need to fish around to find things. The system is wholly customizable and can accommodate almost anything you throw at it. The Representatives are top notch and the training you receive is exceptional

Cons

It would be nice to have incident reporting on the software or the ability to send a document for signature to an individual or groups.

It has created efficiencies in hiring, payroll processing and time sheet management.

Cons

Not tracking leave time in real time. Also not enough flexibility in the time sheet functionality. although with time sheets the Proliant folks have made it work for us so I am appreciative of that.

Pros

It's fairly simple and straight forward with minimal problems. Support team has been good as well.

Cons

Training is good but some one on one time should be scheduled for new administrators.

Overall the transition to Proliant has been good. There were several hiccups to start with, however, the Proliant team has worked hard to make things right.

Pros

The software if fairly easy to use. I appreciate how it is laid out, how easy it is to find what you need.

Cons

It can be confusing to switch between NovaTime and other records. Employees still get confused on why they have two sign-ons.

The software is very robust compared to our previous software.

I can't name anything that I like least about the software. The biggest challenge is there are so many features that I sometimes forget to click a button or something small.

Pros

I like the ease at which I can get Attendance Information. Like Accurals of Sick Time and Vacation Time.

Cons

I do not like the notification email that is sent to my supervisor to approve my time off.

Like that it is web based, easy to use, and reports available.

Wished there was some employee information available without having to run reports.

Customer service is great, transition to this software is seamless. Running payroll and getting reports is cumbersome and time-consuming.

Pros

My needs were very basic on the payroll side. The actual running of payroll was reliable and consistent.

Cons

Running payroll required too many steps, most of which were unnecessary. Payroll reporting did not get me the information I needed in and easy, concise manner. I had to use 2 reports to be able to post.

I love using Proliant, it makes punching in or out easy, and is easy to understand for any user.

Pros

I like how easy it is to clock in and check my time for the week. The fact that you can access your W-2 at any time is also a great feature! I love all the items you have access to change at anytime, like your emergency contact for example. Proliant is a great software to use for clocking in.

Cons

Sometimes the website goes down and we are unable to punch in or out.

Overall experience is good, but reporting and built in accountability in the system is lacking.

Pros

Easy to search employee information. Nice features like "adjusted seniority date"

Cons

Natural check functions are missing. For example, being able to easily see how much PTO was approved for a person vs how much was actually paid out.

Customer Service is great! They understand our company's uniqueness and are responsive to questions and concerns. Our employees love ReadyPay Today (an on-demand pay feature).

Cons

Some of the processes for updating employee information are not intuitive. It would be helpful if position history was saved from an employee's hire date.
