Its been great. The whole team has been a pleasure to work with. They made implementing the software super easy and even when I have minor changes to settings they are more than willing to accomodate.

Pros

Processing payroll is such an easy task now. I love how not complicated it is and the auto tests they run for errors.

Cons

I think a community portal is missing for annoucements and updates so that employees can engage with administrative posts AND learning and development section could be way better. The last software I had there were standard compliance and legal videos I could send out for training to my employees and track their status.

I would say that our experience has been a positive one. I have had some really great support people but they always seem to leave and we're left with some that aren't very helpful. I would like to see the training and support materials improved. They give you an overall understanding of what the tool does but, when you have an issue, it's really difficult to try and find the answer on your own.

Pros

Our implementation was very easy. Each of our implementation specialists were very engaged and knowledgeable and helpful during our implementation. The layout is is user friendly and the modules offered are all important aspects of the HR function. I also like the amount of tools provided.

Cons

While implementation was easy, the training to use the software was lacking. Watching someone go through a video of the modules wasn't as useful as being able to get into a testing site and actually use the software. I wish the guides were a little more user friendly. Sometimes it's hard to tell which guide the information I'm looking for is in. The help feature is nice but, when I tried to use it, it didn't provide me with the information I was looking for.

I have worked with over 5 different payroll providers and Proliant is by far the best in all aspects.

Pros

It is very easy to use and is set up in a very practical manner.

Cons

I do not have really any dislikes, maybe that it makes me change my password as an admin to often.

Proliant benefits our law firm "behind the scene". I'm probably the one that appreciates the support and efficiency the most. If the attorneys and staff are paid in a timely manner without glitches, everyone is happy, which takes a lot of stress off of me and allows me to be attentive to other issues in the law firm.

Pros

Proliant software is user friendly. Payroll is always direct deposited in a timely manner. Most of all I appreciate having a wonderful and attentive personal contact, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]. She is the best! \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] handles all of my questions, reminds me to enter payroll if I get busy and forget it's the day to enter the information. Having a "person" helping me with the payroll aspect of my job is the best feature of Proliant, hands down!!

Cons

The Report feature. The Report Portal which keeps the payroll reports and archives is wonderful. Building reports is a bit challenging. I would like to have more pre-set reports. I may just need a tutorial on report building.

A trusted acquaintance in the restaurant business suggested Payday USA and if it was good enough for his three businesses, I knew it would handle our law firm.

Wonderful!

Pros

As a small business, we were looking for a system that would help streamline our payroll process, and decided to change from TAG Employer Services to Proliant at the end of 2017. The transition was seamless. Their team was very efficient, always available to answer questions, and made the process very easy for us. Even though our transition was completed a long time ago, the Proliant team continues to provide excellent customer service. They have online training modules, send out newsletters and make sure to be in contact with changing payroll laws and regulations. I never worry about missing an update and feel very lucky to have Proliant in my corner.

Cons

There's really nothing I dislike about this software

Overall, Proliant has been of great help to my business as I can focus on doing my job knowing they're taking care of the payroll.

Pros

As a small business owner it's nice to have tailored customer service. They are extremely helpful any time I have to call them with questions or concerns.

Cons

The onboarding process took a little longer that I would like, but afterwards it was smooth sailing from there.

We use Proliant to onboard new staff, benefits and talent acquisition. Having everything in one tool is great, ease of use. Also helps our hiring managers within talent acquisition to be able to pull up resumes for their positions without waiting for HR to filter through.

That it logs me out quickly, wish it would stay logged in longer.

Conversion from our previous payroll provider was seamless and efficient. The number one thing I like about Proliant is the customer service we receive. (\[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] is the absolute best!)

Pros

The onboarding and online benefit enrollment is a time-saving efficient tool. Employees find it user friendly and easy to navigate. Payroll and timeclock functions are efficient and easy to use.

Cons

The reporting feature is not the easiest to navigate; however, some of it may be user issues.

Our needs have outgrown the Proliant system.

Pros

It is very basic, uncomplicated. The reps are nice.

Cons

We have very little control over anything in the system. Many updates (i.e. terminations, updates to GL-related reports) require tickets to be submitted to Proliant support teams rather than allowing us to make the updates ourselves. The turn around time for Proliant support varies widely from a day to several months.

Our experience with Proliant has been very positive. The customer service they provide is top notch compared to other payroll providers.

Pros

Proliant has the best customer service out there in the payroll industry. The software is user friendly for the most part and has a lot of great features such as Time and Labor, PTO tracking, Performance Management, Benefits Administration etc. If there is something that is not included and they can figure out a way to make it happen, they will!

Cons

There are a few small things like having to change something in numerous places that can be a bit frustrating but overall not many cons. We have noticed that when updates are made, there are sometimes glitches that make a change in the system and then that needs to be fixed.

Cons

Attendance On Demand is the time clock portion of the software and is a separate system. Occasionally run into issues between the two and need assistance to resolve.

Difficult to get what we need as a Firm to management payroll and employee onboarding thru exit - employment cycle. I did appreciate the thoroughness of the COVID-19 FCPRA and PPP webinars

Pros

I was referred to Proliant as a system that would be able to perform like the other larger industry systems but at a lesser competitive cost.

Cons

Implementation was handled by company experts but transitioned to rep that was brand new and did not know the system would send copies of the ProLiant guide when we asked for help. Exceedingly difficult to contact the rep and have a verbal conversation. We finally were transitioned to another rep with more knowledge and excellent response time. Reporting capabilities do not meet our needs and Nova Time does not communicate directly with ProLiant Supervisor Hierarchy - changes must be made in both systems. Double work! I was never informed that Proliant used 3rd party vendors to provide services.

We really enjoy our customer success manager but some of the implementation team members (specifically time and labor implementation) was difficult tow work with.

Pros

We really enjoy the time and attendance portion of the software. It is also easy to navigate clocking in and out. We also enjoy it from an administrative perspective and reporting is easy to navigate.

Cons

Not mobile friendly... this has been hard for our employees to adjust to.

Pros

It takes away a lot of the manual entering I used to do which leaves less room for error.

Cons

You have to scroll down and get to the bottom of the screen to save something.

Overall, I LOVE Proliant. Even on the more challenging days of payroll (LOL) I am able to process payroll in a relatively short amount of time (providing everything works like it should. This is a fabulous payroll system.

Pros

Once I got the hang of navigating in Proliant, it is actually quite easy for me to process payroll! This is my first experience processing payroll in my job, and having a software like Proliant makes the job so smooth. Thankfully I have a great relationship with \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]. They have helped me so much when I have encountered issues!!! I think at this point I have them on speed dial.

Cons

It can be a bit difficult when there is an issue. In my experience in my current role, I came into the process after the software had already been installed. There was quite a few 'back of the house' errors that happened as our program was set up that we encountered as I was trying to process payroll. It was very stressful!!!

That the jobs in Quickbooks cannot be populated in Proliant so that employees can clock into a specific job. This would be a game changer. Please look at how Quickbooks Time does it

Setup was awesome! Very knowledgeable staff helping through setup, but your account managers seem to not be nearly as helpful. Reports are very limited or hard to find specific things you're looking for.

Pros

The online factor is a definite plus and we like the mobile app.

Cons

There really wasn't a great training. Lots of access to online training materials, but sometimes it's difficult to find the training document that specifically answers your question, so you spend entirely too much time searching for an answer. Not a fan at all of the reports!

Proliant's service team is fantastic. Other systems I have used do not respond promptly and are much less helpful when they do respond.

Pros

The best part of using Proliant is the dedicated service team. They respond promptly and are extremely helpful.

Cons

We recently implemented the Benefits Advisor tool and the implementation was difficult. Now that it is implemented, it is great.
