As a provider, Grasshopper has worked diligently to get the word out, then work with PTA/PTSA groups to register students, work with forms, provide rosters, and communicate with parents. But it wasn’t until \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and her 6crickets team created this amazing website that it all became much, much easier to make it all come together for parents, coordinators and providers. With \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] passion for education, creative talent, and constant striving to build a better product, 6crickets is our ‘go to’ for all registration and promotion services. We ask, they deliver. Thank you 6crickets! Pros We use this software for all of our registrations through our website as well as through the 6crickets portal as a marketing strategy. It's fairly easy to set up and use. The support team is outstanding! They are constantly in touch with their users and stiving to make the software and support even better. Always thinking of their users needs. They have set up the software to automatically support our customers as well as seeking reviews and options for customers to connect with us. Cons We have been with 6Crickets from their beginning. There were some hurdles, but they have been quickly resolved when we communicated with them. The only "least" is that we are not able to respond to reviews. However, we have asked for this and I believe they are working on that presently. They have a marketplace that you could definitely benefit from, where you can have your classes listed and customers from around the country will sign up…and 6crickets is the one that does the email marketing for you by pushing their own market place. It's a great advantage over former systems we've used. Pros I initially used a program called ProClass to list my classes and get registrations. We had to go through multiple days and HOURS of training to be able to properly use that system. 6crickets has come in and simplified everything. In less than an hour I was up and running needing very little assistance or training. Cons Honestly, there isn't anything I like "least" about the software. There were some small things at the beginning that were problematic...like getting time zones accurate for registrations coming in from across the country, but it was addressed and fixed. Basically anything that didn't function like common sense says it should, I've addressed with them and they've fixed it or made it even better than I even imagined. Switched from [ProClass](https://www.capterra.com/p/115868/ProClass/) ProClass was cumbersome. The amount of training that was required to get up and running was ridiculous. When their own support team doesn't know how to pronounce "semester" or is unfamiliar with "Star Wars", that's a problem. The owner doesn't have set rates and just raises them at his whim with no notice. The first time the rates were raised on me, I felt trapped because I didn't have an alternative in mind. The next year I was prepared and when rates went up yet again with no option to negotiate closer to our original deal, I was ready and jumped off that sinking ship. Alternatives considered [Camp & Class Manager](https://www.capterra.com/p/115452/ACTIVE-Camps/) Reasons for choosing 6crickets Active charges you regardless of what your business is doing. So if your registrations are down, ACTIVE still makes money even when you don't. 6crickets on the other hand is strictly percentage-based. So if registrations aren't rolling in, no one is making money. It gives 6crickets a vested interest in making sure my programs are successful. The 6Crickets webinar on how to teach online was absolutely so valuable. I look forward to utilizing 6Crickets as we go back to school as well as for my new online teaching platform. Pros 6Crickets has been an amazing tool for organizing the classes I teach and registering new students. I work with many after school clubs and PTAs and 6Crickets has streamlined the after school activities process for both providers and parents. 6crickets helps keep me organized with scheduling, rosters, tools, catalog, and registration. Cons I wish the 6Crickets ad team and social media game was a little more savvy and modern. I do feel I often have to do so much outreach to get enrollment up. The support is phenomenal and always available to help out. I have saves hours of time each week and I don't have to manage the development and upkeep of my own registration portal anymore!
